Bodies Will Not Burn Up In Hell – Bill Wiese, “Man Who Went To Hell” Author of “23 Minutes In Hell”

If God can prepare such a glorious heavenly body for us, He can certainly prepare a body that will not be consumed by the fires of hell.

Lies About Hell – Bill Wiese “The Man Who Went To Hell” “23 Minutes In Hell”

EXCELLENT Analysis!!!

Steve Hill was probably the main person responsible for the Brownsville Revival. He had a dream showing 7 great deceptions in the church today. Rejecting hell is #6:

Spiritual Avalanche – Steve Hill: The 7 Great Lies in the Church Today — Overemphasis of Prosperity • Exaggerated View of Grace (grace-changers nullify all divine warnings) • Antinomianism = against rules, so “anything goes” (but “Jesus didn’t set us free to sin; He set us free from sin”) • Gazing Upon Man, not God • Challenging the Authority of the Word (God didn’t really mean what He said) • Rejecting Hell • Universal Reconciliation

Jesus: “That servant WHO KNEW his lord’s will, and DIDN’T prepare nor DO what he wanted, will be beaten with MANY stripes, but he who DIDN’T KNOW… will be beaten with FEW stripes”

Jesus: “That servant who knew his lord’s will, and didn’t prepare nor do what he wanted, will be beaten with many stripes, but he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes.” – Luke 12:47-48

Porn & Masturbation Will Cost You Eternal Torment if you don’t repent

Jesus includes the RIGHT HAND in Matthew 5
27 You have heard that it was said [old covenant], ‘Do not commit adultery.’ 28 But I tell you [new covenant] that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to depart into hell.

Paul in Galatians 5
19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 THOSE WHO BELONG TO CHRIST have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

6:7 Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap CORRUPTION. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap ETERNAL LIFE.

Select Scriptures from my post: Jesus speaks on Hell and Destruction in Forty Six versus in the Bible

Matthew 8:12
12But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 13:42
42and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:49-50
49So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 18:8
8“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.

Why we think Hell is too much punishment

We are often trying to evaluate the properness of the punishments we see in our society and even in the Bible. This, I think, is one area where we our intuitions are generally off base.

Let me add some more thoughts for you to consider as you evaluate this idea. Did you know that most prisoners agree that their prison sentences are too harsh? Did you know that criminals are far more likely to have a low view of law enforcement in general? While we can grant that, in some cases, people are unjustly punished by the law we can also recognize that people who break the law are generally more likely to minimize their offense and think that even a just sentence is unjust. But what if we apply this observation to people’s intuitions about the justness of Hell? It basically means that those who have moral guilt before God are more likely to think that Hell is unjust than they are to think that their sin deserves such a punishment. It seems to be a constant feature of the human condition that we will justify ourselves and even go so far as to demonize God Himself if He is going to truly bring down justice for our sins. I think it’s much more wise to assume that, if I can’t see the justness of Hell, then God is wiser than me and I am suffering from a culture of minimizing sin.

Why do so many people attempt to soften the subject of hell? Why do they try to make it seem less horrifying, less severe, or even non-existent? The main reason is that they cannot reconcile a loving God with a God who would allow such intense suffering. People have actually created a god in their minds who doesn’t exist.

Annihilationism is contrary to clear Biblical teachings. Some people want to soften God’s judgments, and compromise God’s Word in order to seem more socially acceptable but Jesus warned about hell in 46 verses.

I was discussing ‘Christian’ greeting cards with a friend, who thought of this truthful, reality-check one [I changed in a lake of fire to at a lake of fire, because not all who go to hell end up in the actual lake of fire]:

Howard Pittman, after dying in the ambulance 30 years ago, saw how many people entered heaven, while he was told how many entered hell. And then he was told that if everyone died then, only 2.5% of the people would go to heaven. This figure is clearly lower today. Very few ‘Christians’ are actually abiding in Christ to the Biblically required degree.
Most don’t have clear consciences, so when they die and see Jesus face to Face they’ll have confidence to enter.

How Many Will Be in Heaven? How Many are Finding the WAY? Only 1 in 40 — 2.5%?!!

Hebrews 10:28-30 states that those who abuse the gift of grace shall receive a punishment worse than death 💀

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries. 28 A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance belongs to me,” says the Lord, “I will repay.” Again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

(4 min audio) Francis Chan: Paul's Life Makes Sense in Light of Hell – "People are beating him up, spitting on him, stoning him, whipping him… but he wasn't going to stop"

Francis Chan, transcribed by me:

“When I look at Paul’s life, and he goes around telling everyone he can — people are beating him up, spitting on him, stoning him, whipping him, whatever, but he wasn’t going to stop. I look at that, I go: ‘see, but that makes sense.’ Don’t you look at his life and go: ‘in light of hell, his life makes sense.’ Right? And that’s what bugs me. His life makes sense, because if I really believed in a literal hell….”

One person commented:

Chan was talking about Penn of Penn and Teller, I believe. Ive seen where someone from Way of the Master talked to Penn and that was his response, about how much do you hate someone not to tell them about hell.

Paul “always having a conscience void of offense toward God and men(Acts 24:16) also makes sense in light of hell. His conscience needed to be clear for his own salvation, as well as to be qualified to lead others.

Francis Chan – Jesus warned the world about hell Sermon jam

J.C. Ryle 1878: Beware of Manufacturing a God of Your Own – a God who is all mercy but not just; a God who is all love but not holy; a God who has a Heaven for everybody but a Hell for none…. Such a God is an idol of your own imagination!

The Great Separation!

J.C. Ryle, 1878

… Reader, who are the WHEAT in the world? Listen to me, and I will tell you.

The wheat means all men and women who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ — all who are led by the Holy Spirit — all who have felt themselves sinners, and fled for refuge to the salvation offered in the Gospel — all who love the Lord Jesus, and live to the Lord Jesus, and serve the Lord Jesus — all who have taken Christ for their only confidence, and the Bible for their only guide, and regard sin as their deadliest enemy, and look to Heaven as their only home. …

Do you believe the Bible? Then depend upon it, Hell is a subject that ought not to be kept back. It is striking to observe the many texts about it in Scripture. … I cannot forget the words of a dying hearer of Mr. Newton’s — “Sir, you often told me of Christ and salvation; why did you not oftener remind me of Hell and danger?”

Let others be silent about Hell if they will — I dare not do so. I see it plainly in Scripture, and I must speak of it. I fear that thousands are on that broad way that leads to it, and I would sincerely arouse them to a sense of the peril before them. What would you say of the man who saw his neighbor’s house in danger of being burnt down — and never raised the cry of “Fire!” What ought to be said of us as ministers, if we call ourselves watchmen for souls, and yet see the fires of Hell raging in the distance — and never give the alarm? Call it bad taste, if you like, to speak of Hell. Call it charity to make things pleasant, and speak smoothly, and soothe men with constant lullaby of peace. From such notions of taste and charity — may I ever be delivered! My notion of charity is to warn men plainly of danger! My notion of taste in the ministerial office, is to declare all the counsel of God. If I never spoke of Hell — I would think I had kept back something that was profitable — and would look on myself as an accomplice of the devil.

Reader, I beseech you, in all tender affection, beware of false views of the subject on which I have been dwelling. Beware of new and strange doctrines about Hell and the eternity of punishment. Beware of manufacturing a God of your own: a God who is all mercy — but not just; a God who is all love — but not holy; a God who has a Heaven for everybody — but a Hell for none; a God who can allow good and evil to be side by side in time — but will make no distinction between good and evil in eternity. Such a God is an idol of your own imagination! It is as true an idol as any snake or crocodile in an Egyptian temple — as true an idol as was ever molded out of brass or clay! The hands of your own imagination and sentimentality have made him. He is not the God of the Bible — and beside the God of the Bible — there is no God at all. …

Beware of being wise above that which is written. Beware of forming fanciful theories of your own, and then trying to make the Bible square with them. Beware of making selections from your Bible to suit your taste — refusing, like a spoiled child, whatever you think bitter — seizing, like a spoiled child, whatever you think sweet. What is all this but taking Jehoiakim’s penknife? What does it amount to but telling God, that you, a poor short-lived worm — know better than He? It will not do! It will not do. You must take the Bible as it is. You must read it all, and believe it all. You must come to the reading of it in the spirit of a little child. Dare not to say, “I believe this verse, for I like it. I reject that, for I do not like it. I receive this, for I can agree with it. I refuse that, for I cannot reconcile it with my views.” Nay! but O man, who are you that replies against God? By what right do you talk in this way? Surely it were better to say over every chapter in the Word, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening!” Ah, reader, if men would do this, they would never deny Hell, the chaff, and the fire!

Why Do So Many Preachers In America Refuse To Talk About Hell? — Exalted preachers endlessly fill our ears with messages that make us feel better (while still living in sin). Meanwhile, Americans are starting to turn away from the church altogether

Why Do So Many Preachers In America Refuse To Talk About Hell?

By Michael Snyder, on May 24th, 2016

When was the last time you heard a sermon about hell?  Just think about that for a moment.  Once upon a time in America, preachers all across the land regularly unleashed fiery sermons that directly confronted people with the reality of heaven and hell.  But today, that has completely changed.  In fact, there are some very well-known ministers in this country that purposely avoid ever using the word “hell” because it might offend someone.  It turns out that “happy church” can be a very lucrative business model, and many people seem to love the “me first” prosperity gospel that has infected virtually all of the major denominations at this point.  So there are countless messages about “blessing”, “breakthrough” and how God can make your life better, and very, very little preaching about sin, judgment, the cross and the urgency that we should feel to reach lost souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul wrote about a time when lukewarm believers would surround themselves with preachers that would tell them exactly what their itching ears want to hear.  This is what 2 Timothy 4:3-4 says in the Modern English Version

For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine, but they will gather to themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, having itching ears, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn to myths.

Is this not precisely what is happening in the western world today?

We have put the gospel on the back burner, and we have exalted preachers that endlessly fill our ears with messages that make us feel better.

Meanwhile, Americans are starting to turn away from the church altogether in alarming numbers.
