Renowned Pastor in Uganda with a “successful ministry” in saving many souls, many healed and many delivered was SHOCKED when JESUS told him “if I came today to take my Bride…I WOULD NOT TAKE YOU.” At that moment, he said “ALL HIS THEOLOGIES COULD NOT ACCEPT THAT”, but JESUS is still saying: “I WOULD NOT TAKE YOU.” Will YOU be like HIM when JESUS RETURNS?

Please watch the whole testimony, it will really make you think and hopefully bring you to your KNEES in HUMILITY in DEEP REPENTANCE.

There is so much lies and the spirit of the Anti-Christ floating around videos / FB messages / false grace preaching on the internet and in the churches that SOUNDS GOOD when in fact they are absolutely false. The devil is using these false teachings to MAKE MILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS (who think they are ready to see God) to be ABSOLUTELY LEFT BEHIND when all of this happens (which will be ANYTIME NOW). Please examine yourself honestly today, please everyone.

TIME IS OVER!

Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God?

Julie Meyer’s Dream: The FEAR OF THE LORD is coming ‘into’ His House — I was reminded of Exodus 20:20: “…that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” | With great anticipation I began MY JOURNEY. … Not every one was allowed to walk up this Great Mountain. A DREAM – THE FEAR OF THE LORD

Julie Meyer – August 2010

I had a dream. I had just parked my car at the International House Of Prayer parking lot and I was headed inside.  As I stepped out of the car to my amazement, I saw a large angel standing on top of the roof. He looked to be about 30 feet tall.  This angel stood on the corner of the building with a sword in His hand, pointing directly to the north. He did not move, but only pointed, resolute as a statue.  The Sword was shimmering.  It was brilliant and shinning. …

I found myself looking back and forth between the Angel pointing at the sky in the North and then looking at this Giant Sun full of the most vibrant colors. As I turned again and began to study the Angel holding this glimmering Sword I saw carved across the sword were five words in bold, black letters: The Fear of the Lord. This angel held his sword so assertively. He did not shy away from those words. He was bolstered by what they meant. If anything was true, the angel knew who God was.

In an instant I knew that the Fear of the Lord was coming ‘into’ His House.  The Awe of God was arising in a new Way throughout the earth and in His Body.

At that moment I was reminded of Exodus 20:20: “. . . that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” Deep within my heart I heard the Holy Spirit say, The fear of the Lord is coming. The awe of the God of Israel is arising in the midst of the prayer movement. It is arising in the midst of My House.

All this happened even before I was inside the building. So when I walked through the front door of the prayer room, I was surprised to come face to face with a mountain that was veiled by dense fog.

Not every one was allowed to walk up this Great Mountain. Only those with clean hands and a pure heart. Everyone not allowed to ascend stood and looked up at the great, hidden mountain, wondering what was beyond the haze.

With great anticipation I began my journey. In silence myself and others ascended high into the cloud of gray, heavy vapor, unsure of what we would find or where we would stop. I and those walking with me could only see the next single step in front of us. In the cool gray breeze, I soon lost the sense that anyone else was with me.

As I approached nearer the top of this mountain, I realized I was literally walking ‘up’ the mountain of the Lord.  I was ‘in’ Ps 24.  I was ascending up and up and up.  I had to set my heart for the journey.  It was not easy but I could not stop walking up and up and up.  I was walking on a narrow path and I thought of Matt 7 –Strive to stay on the narrow path’.  It was a path well trodden and I pondered the Patriarchs of old who had walked them same path.

I had some baggage with me that I was carrying, but I realized I would never make it to the top of the mountain if I kept it with me.  So I took it off and laid it down.  I saw many people around me not want to take off their baggage, they wanted to keep it and they were not able to ascend up.  They stopped and started walking back down the mountain.

I came upon an old man with a ‘rod’ in his right hand.  He had a long white beard and long, wild, white hair past his shoulders. I noticed his face was set to go up.  He was not looking to the left of the right; His face was ‘set’.  He was not turning around or even grumbling about the steepness of the path.  I saw people in front of him begin to look for short cuts or different paths and they would get off of the path headed up trying to find an easier way.  This old man said ‘There are no short cuts and there are no other paths.  There is only one way and it is this path.  If you stay on it, it will lead you straight to the top.’  As he spoke; his words seemed to penetrate to the very core of my heart and I kept telling myself, ‘stay on the path, there are no short cuts, keep walking, keep walking.’   I happen to see a road sign and written on the sign were these words ‘The Pathway Of Humility’.  At that exact moment I realized I was literally walking this path with Moses. It was like in an instant my eyes were open to see the humility, the diligence, and the zeal of this man that seemed to give him great authority and presence.  He continued up the mountain saying those words over and over ‘There are no short cuts and there are no other paths.  There is only one way and it is this path.  If you stay on it, it will lead you straight to the top.”

Finally as we ascended to the very top of this magnificent mountain.  I saw Men and Women standing at the very top and crying out Psalm 24:7, “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.”I realized ‘this’ is the place of great authority.  This is the place where we have the authority to cry out ‘Lift up your heads, O you gates!”  Many people get this invitation but few make the whole journey.

[Reverse-Revival Audio] Yikes, Mike! NPR’s Fresh Air: Mike Bickle an organizer of Rick Perry’s prayer rally — No wonder why no one cries out for ‘Christians’ to repent from reverse-Christian warmongering in the IHOP prayer room

No wonder WHY REVIVAL TARIES.

Instead of getting right with those we’ve hurt
(a theme mysteriously missing from the IHOP Awakening),
the ‘church’ is just going to hurt more.

With Ron Paul as an example,
the ‘church’ still refuses to repent.

I don’t want any part of this!

God is not mocked:
What we sow we shall reap —

Ushering in the wrong kingdom.

I really didn’t want to have another Yikes, Mike! moment. Shocked, I previously wrote: Mike Bickle, Head of IHOP: From Porn to Worship “Within the Minute?” Yikes, Mike!

I have demonstrated many times on this site that I have been a BIG FAN of Mike Bickle, founder of International House of Prayer (IHOP). His ambition to please God and do what is right is obvious, but it’s so sad to see him actually supporting the antichrist system. Rick Perry is the establishment’s choice for a reason. See my Rick Perry posts under the Rick Perry category at ToBeFree (also linked below).

It’s good to hear the news from the liberal side sometimes, in this case, NPR. Some of my thoughts:

First, I totally believe in spiritual warfare, especially when we are praying perfectly in our prayer languages to fight demons directly. But even the word dominionism doesn’t sit right with me, especially when I know it translates into the now endless preemptive wars that are mainly to take out countries that would oppose Satan’s one-world government. This isn’t just about power over demons, it’s power over people, and Rick Perry is their man?!!!

The true Christian peacemaker, Ron Paul is left to sit on the sidelines. This is exactly the reason America will not recover — the pastors are leading the sheep astray!

I was really disappointed to hear that Mike Bickle is actively supporting Rick Perry, whose Christianity is beyond just suspect [see my Rick Perry links below]. This is pretty serious! “Christian” Rick Perry is almost certainly a wolf in sheep’s clothing who will destroy this country just like “Christian,” Skull and Bonesman George W. Bush did [proof is in The Bush Family category at ToBeFree, linked below].

Christians, especially Christian leaders are supposed to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves,” but it seems like too many evangelicals are not learning from history or doing their homework — nor are they being Bible and Holy Spirit led. The establishment (the globalists) will only support candidates they can control, and Rick Perry appears to be their number 1 Republican pick.

No wonder why I’ve never heard anyone crying out for ‘Christians’ to repent from their warmongering in the IHOP (International House of Prayer – Mike Bickle head) prayer room. All of these prayers about abortion (who all go to heaven), but once they’re out of the womb…, smash ’em — ‘Christians’ sending many straight to Hell!!

So much for “Blessed are the peacemakers….” I wrote recently:

If the peacemakers are blessed
(Blessed are the peacemakers – Jesus),
and most of today’s ‘Christians’ aren’t peacemakers:

both the ‘Christians’ and America can’t be blessed …
and have only themselves to blame when America goes down.

This is fundamental!

The Evangelicals Engaged In Spiritual Warfare

August 24, 2011

An emerging Christian movement that seeks to take dominion over politics, business and culture in preparation for the end times and the return of Jesus, is becoming more of a presence in American politics. The leaders are considered apostles and prophets, gifted by God for this role.

The international “apostolic and prophetic” movement has been dubbed by its leading American architect, C. Peter Wagner, as the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).

[…]

“They teach quite literally that these ‘mountains’ have fallen under the control of demonic influences in society,” says Tabachnick. “And therefore, they must reclaim them for God in order to bring about the kingdom of God on Earth. … The apostles teach what’s called ‘strategic level spiritual warfare’ [because they believe that the] reason why there is sin and corruption and poverty on the Earth is because the Earth is controlled by a hierarchy of demons under the authority of Satan. So they teach not just evangelizing souls one by one, as we’re accustomed to hearing about. They teach that they will go into a geographic region or a people group and conduct spiritual-warfare activities in order to remove the demons from the entire population. This is what they’re doing that’s quite fundamentally different than other evangelical groups.”

Rick Perry’s Rally

The organizers of Perry’s rally were from ministries founded by two apostles/prophets of the movement — The Call, and the International House of Prayer founded by Mike Bickle. Bickle, who led part of Perry’s event, has claimed that Oprah Winfrey is a precursor of the Antichrist, and Engle has claimed that gay people are controlled by “demonic spirits.” Both have served on the Council of Prophetic Elders initiated by Wagner.

Awakening Meetings End at IHOP. Why?

IHOP head, Mike Bickle says this (from: IHOP…):

Our last awakening service this year was on Saturday, October 9. Wes Hall shared at Forerunner Christian Fellowship on Sunday, September 19, on how the Lord spoke to us about this. We encourage you to listen to Wes’s message.

“The awakening leadership received a word from the Lord from several people, leading them to the conclusion that it was time to discontinue the awakening services for a season. At that time, the nightly meetings were full of life and full of people, yet Wes Hall, Allen Hood, and the awakening leadership team responded in obedience to the word from the Lord. It is very unusual for leaders to stop such meetings when they are full and successful by every human standard. The fruit from laboring for eleven months in this time of awakening (November 2009 to October 2010) is very good. We received over 6,000 testimonies of emotional and physical healing from all over the world and we have had the privilege of baptizing over 1,700 people. I am very proud of the excellent leadership of Wes Hall and Allen Hood and their team. The IHOP–KC family is in a much better place because of their labors.”

—Mike Bickle

Here’s my take:
I was totally rooting for IHOP! Their goal was to see the Third Great Awakening happen before their eyes, which is God’s goal.
For about 3 months, I watched many of the 6-hour meetings in their entirety. I was thrilled at Wes Hall’s attitude and teachings. But more and more I became leery about what IHOPU president, Allen Hood was saying.
It’s no surprise to me that the revival started in Wes’ class. Wes just shone. He seems to be as pure as snow. It’s also no surprise that Wes became noticeably touched by God over and over and over, while Allen seemed to be hardly affected.
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” This is a principle that I’ve seen demonstrated in many of the revival meetings I’ve been in.
I have found that most church leaders aren’t fully right with God and people, so it’s usually the norm that they don’t get touched. You can watch them. Hundreds will be  greatly touched by God, as did Wes, but with the leaders who aren’t holy, little happens, or they put on an act.
Wes stated a number of times that who gets touched doesn’t really mean anything, but from what I’ve seen, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” is a key factor, if not the key factor.
It is my opinion that God wants to move among every human being in fullness, but we have to be right with Him and each other, otherwise bad things would happen when God reveals Himself in a greater fullness. So God can’t fully come until our hearts are pure. Mike Bickle knows this:

Mike Bickle: Making a Purity Covenant so the HOLY Spirit can come and we won’t get zapped … to bless His heart — that we may be ONE!

In Acts, Ananias and Sapphira died because they publicly lied in God’s presence. The believers in these meetings were greatly respected, but “none of the rest dared to join them.”
After Ananias and Sapphira died, Luke writes in Acts 5:

11 Great fear came on the whole assembly, and on all who heard these things.

12 By the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. They were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. 13 None of the rest dared to join them, however the people honored them. 14 More believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women.

Why didn’t the rest dare to join them? Because they weren’t right enough with God and people, just like most ‘Christians’ today. They weren’t walking in “perfect love” so their “perfect love casted out all fear (James)” to be able to rest in confidence in the manifest presence of the HOLY Spirit.
Most ‘Christians’ today (including leadership) are either putting on that they’re holy or they don’t even claim to be. After all, the currently popular teaching is that they’re saved no matter what — if they’ve been truly been born again — which is the very doctrine that are keeping ‘churches’ from being holy enough for God to fully come.
To me, it is crystal clear that the main thing that kept the IHOP awakening meetings in the stuck mode is Allen Hood’s salvation doctrine (see related articles, below) which Mike Bickle must have approved. Mike even said in his statement “I am very proud of … Allen Hood;” even though, Allen gave attendees a license to willfully sin. I wrote these. It’s so clear:

False, revival killing, salvation doctrine at IHOP continues from IHOPU president, Allen Hood at the Awakening meetings 🙁

FALSE DOCTRINE: Why won’t Christian leaders even mention Hebrews 10:26? An IHOP example — so close and yet so far away — from full REVIVAL 🙁

They kept asking, even telling God to come, but the Holy Spirit couldn’t come in His fullness as He has done in so many previous revivals, including Acts 5 — which is just what is supposed to be normal Christianity. God wants to live among us in a very real way.
There was Allen Hood’s false salvation teaching, but there was also key exhortation that was curiously absent. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting…. The main theme of the Asbury revival (that they must have known about, having studied revival history) was totally missing: the importance of getting right with each other: Asbury Revival, 1970: “‘Dr. Kinlaw, I am a liar. Now what do I do?’ … Three days later, she came to me radiant, and she said, ‘Dr. Kinlaw, I’m free!’” Not once, did I hear one of the leaders say we need to get right with each other. Not once!!! As if Asbury never happened.
IHOP also ignored the church history that God emphasized to Shelley Hundley in a dream. He showed her specifically how Jonathan Edwards was a key example for them. But Jonathan Edwards’ Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God was the opposite of what Allen Hood kept repeating over and over: God loves us no matter what we do — the prevalent teaching in churchianity today — but the truth is still what the Bible clearly teaches: Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God?

There was a key reason that God emphasized Jonathan Edwards, who taught the fear of the Lord, front and center, while Allen taught against the idea that the fear of the Lord applies to ‘Christians’ — except as to what we’ll have to go through on earth. See this.
IHOP was trying to bring in the revival without the Biblical requirement for holiness taught for us to just be real Christians. Only the pure in heart will see God. At Asbury, the Christians publicly confessed their sins. They did James 4, while the IHOP awakening meetings were largely just partysville. From God’s Remedy for James-3 Cursing & Partysville in Today’s Church is James 4:

God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy [partysville joy, not fruit-of-the-Holy-Spirit joy] to gloom.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

There was mixture at IHOP. Holiness was an option, not a necessity for those who are God’s children, so many opted out; though, they wanted the blessing of being in God’s fullness while still being too fully in the world — not having even been told to get right with their neighbors so God could come.
Jesus greatly desires us to be ONE. He longs for us to be ONE. Only then will the world know, He said in John 17. Now, the world smells a rat. There is so much unrepentant sin in the ‘church.” God can’t come until we’re ONE. So let’s become ONE! And this will happen when holiness is no longer an option, which is what the Bible really teaches.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” ‘Church’ leaders claim to be wise, but they’re fools when they teach that none of the warning scriptures apply to us; though, they were clearly written to new covenant believers.
This is the great deception. This is what is destroying America and keeping real Christianity, the Third Great Awakening from happening in our midst.
I wonder how many thousands of times I heard those at IHOP actually tell God to come. What gall, I’ve often thought — us telling God what to do when He can’t come in His manifest presence or many would flat out die. How dare we, when He is the Potter and we are the clay.
I think it’s mainly a matter of one church somewhere getting their doctrines right and living accordingly. That will start the Third Great Awakening.
The positive message here is that when we get our doctrines right — especially regarding who goes to heaven — and when we live within what the Bible really says, we will have revival. It will be automatic follow.
The unwavering principle is “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” It’s not complicated. The Third Great Awakening didn’t happen at IHOP because those who are truly Christ’s wasn’t even taught. “Those who are Christ’s have crucified their flesh” (Paul in Galatians 5). The opposite was actually taught. “People were pacified.”
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Who are the humble? Those who obey. Who are those who obey? Those who actually really do love the Lord, our God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength, and who really do love their neighbors as themselves.
That means we have to do Asbury. We have to get right with everybody we’ve hurt. We need to humble ourselves before God and each other. I believe the community that will do this will bring in the Third Great Awakening.
Many good things happened at IHOP. I don’t want to minimize the good. I gave much applause in this blog. I think Wes Hall, especially did a lot of good. I really like Wes!  I think Wes and some of the others even plowed  ground that will make it easier for the Third Great Awakening to happen. But Allen’s reverse-Bible salvation killed it. False salvation doctrine poured water on the whole move.
And then “we bless You, Lord” songs turned more into “bless us, Lord” songs. That was another factor. How much of the worship was really worship — especially in Spirit and in truth? Straight-to-God “We worship You” songs were hardly ever sung. “Worship” was more man centered than “You are awesome!” People’s hearts weren’t right. I saw certain worship leaders start to sing real worship songs, but it’s like the crowd wasn’t ready. They poured poured water on the coals, and rarely did the worship leaders have the courage to fully try again.
Only new wineskins can hold the New Wine, God Himself. It’s really simple. We can’t expect God to move among us differently than He did in previous revivals where the people really repented.

Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

We shouldn’t be telling God what to do. We need to do what is right and then He will come. This is guaranteed when we really do humble ourselves to His standard.
Then He will come. We’ll see great miracles! The joy of the Lord will be our strength!
We can have a permanent Asbury where there will be no doubt that God is among us. But first, we need to get our salvation doctrine right.
Or America has to totally fall and we lose everything. Maybe that would also bring about real repentance. But why are we going to wait until then?
We can have revival now. It’s just a matter of us doing what we already know to do — what the Holy Spirit has been convicting us of.
False teachers should step down. Those who teach the truth will bring in this next move.
Luther didn’t get it, yet most pastors basically teach what Luther taught. Some follow John Calvin, but he didn’t get it either. And certainly the Catholic Church didn’t get it. So let’s get it!
We need to believe what Jesus, Paul, James, John, and what the writer to the Hebrews taught.
Then we’ll see heart-soaring, pure revival come!

Mike Bickle, Head of IHOP: From Porn to Worship "Within the Minute?" Yikes, Mike!

NOTE: I’ve always greatly appreciated Mike Bickle’s zeal and heart for God, and probably always will. I approve of much of what is happening at the IHOPU Student Awakening. They’re leading the way in so many right things, but there are some problems.

I bring this up not to put down, but so that we can do better — and better — until…

The goal is ‘ONE.’ Jesus wants us to be one with each other in Him (John 17). And the leaders at IHOP (International House of Prayer) have been calling for a Third Great Awakening. How can this happen in our midst when lust is rampant within the church?

I’m convinced that false doctrine is the main problem within the American church, and that false doctrine is the main thing keeping FULL revival, the Third Great Awakening from happening at IHOP and elsewhere.

“God accepts us no matter what” is a major theme at the IHOP Awakening meetings. For example: False, revival-killing, salvation doctrine at IHOP continues from IHOPU president, Allen Hood at the Awakening meetings 🙁

When people don’t get fully right with God and their brothers and sisters, it’s impossible to worship in Spirit and in truth. So many don’t want to worship God directly. So the “bless me, Lord”/”fill us, Lord,” telling-God-what-to-do songs continue to be standards, and direct-to-God worship is the exception rather than the rule — as it is done in heaven.

And IHOP actually has a reputation for being alive (Rev. 3:1-6), whereas most of the ‘church’ in America doesn’t even have that.

In order for the Third Great Awakening to occur, we must lift up HOLY hands to the Lord. And we must clothed in white (not willfully sinning sins like lust — see the who-will-not-inherit-the-kingdom list in Galatians 5, along with Hebrews 10:26-39) in order for our names to not be removed from the Book of Life (Rev. 3:1-6). This is serious!

‘Christians’ can go from porn to worship “within the minute,” but can a real Christian worship in Spirit and in truth within the minute after willfully sinning such a serious sin?

I think not. Something is wrong here. Mike means well. The Passion for Jesus Conference was about restoring the first commandment to first place. Mike’s heart is in the right place, no doubt. But it’s statements like this that people will just take as a license to just keep on lusting, never getting totally free from the lust demons that drive lust so they can relax in God to be able to worship in Spirit and in truth.

Transcribed by Jeff Fenske from IHOP’s Passion for Jesus conference, 4/8/10

Mike Bickle is speaking on part four of the Greatest Commandment, loving the Lord, our God with all of our strength.

Mike said we need to love on God’s terms, and he led a prayer so people would shift over to loving God being the greatest priority. And then he said:

“He’ll take you in your weakness. He’ll take you in your brokenness. He said, ‘I’ll take you just as you are. Just come with the intention to do this [focused on doing the greatest commandment].

And when you fail, admit it, confess it, push delete; jump back right in the race before the hour is up. Go hard again. No condemnation. Don’t waste a moment on condemnation. Push delete, and be there confident before God in love.

A guy says, ‘Oh, I like the pornography.’

Call it sin; repent of it; confess it before God; and be back within the minute as a lover of God with confidence that He enjoys the worship that you’re giving Him.

Don’t wallow for three or four weeks, or a couple of hours. No self probation. Don’t put yourself in probation. You have confidence before Him no matter what you did 20 minutes ago.

Holy Spirit, I ask you to come, right now, with fire. There’s some real setting of the heart going on with some of you, tonight. It’s a dynamic setting of your heart. Just change your life. Lord, release Your power right now. Fire, Lord. We’re here for passion for Jesus. That’s what we’re here for. We’re here to align our heart with You, Jesus. We’re in this for real till the end.”

But to align our hearts with God is to reject porn totally. This was good:

[Mike Bickle IHOP 3/08] Making a Purity Covenant: Seven Practical Commitments — The Lord will visit IHOP-KC with an open door of glory in the spirit and a door of ministry to the nations. When Jesus opens a door of glory to release more of His manifest presence then He requires more agreement with His heart (a higher standard of obedience). … This is a promise with a warning of judgment.

Mike Bickle: Making a Purity Covenant so the HOLY Spirit can come … to bless His heart — that we may be ONE!

What if God did release His fire, now, like Mike is asking God to?

Jesus said in Matthew 5 that we need to do everything we have to in order to not lust, so we can go to heaven. Lust isn’t an option for true believers. Watching porn is not a light thing that we can just do and then be worshiping within the minute.
We just gave into demon power. That demon won’t go unless there is full repentance — not repeatance. “Delete” has to be pushed really hard, fully pushed. The door has to be totally shut. The heart has to be settled. The prodigal son must come back. This is sick to even contemplate this scenario, thinking we can worship God within the minute.

Many will just take this as license….

John 4:

23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

We can’t be hypocrites and worshipers.
From Mike Bickle’s OneThing 2009 Teaching Notes (pdf):

We measure our spiritual maturity by how much of the Sermon on the Mount we walk out in daily life. We measure our ministry impact by the extent to which people live out these values, not by the number of people who receive our ministry.”

Let’s determine to stay fully in the kingdom, our hearts totally pure, fully resting in His love.

1 John 2:

15 Don’t love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s. 17 The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever. …

28 Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Galatians 5:

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

This is what we should be teaching. How to be really free, together, truly in Christ — resting — settled — where we belong.

False, revival-killing, salvation doctrine at IHOP continues from IHOPU president, Allen Hood at the Awakening meetings :(

From: ONEcanhappen
NOTE: I love IHOP! I’m a big fan! I’m listening to Jaye Thomas’ worship in their prayer room right now (the 5/5 archive). I believe that God is saying that IHOP is at the heart of what is right. But this, what I’ll talk about here, is a HUGE problem — as is its reverse probably THE solution!
I’m convinced that the false doctrine of eternal security, “once saved always saved” (OSAS) is thwarting the move of God that the wonderful people at IHOP are fighting for so valiantly.
This is almost universally a church-wide problem throughout America, so I’m not singling out IHOP. Almost every evangelical church either teaches eternal security outright, or something similar, like it’s hard to lose one’s salvation — though the Bible teaches just the opposite — as I’ve proven: Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God? — “There is therefore now *no condemnation* to those who are IN CHRIST Jesus, who don’t WALK according to the flesh, but ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT.”
This is my second post, showing the president of IHOPU teaching this serious false doctrine at the awakening meetings. This is my first: FALSE DOCTRINE: Why won’t Christian leaders even mention Hebrews 10:26? An IHOP example — so close and yet so far away — from full REVIVAL 🙁
It’s almost like friendly fire. IHOP is correctly pushing so hard to advance the kingdom, to draw near to God. They’re doing so many things right. But then the people are given this false hope that they don’t really have to overcome sin — which puts out the Holy Spirit fire. Once-saved-always-saved is a broken cistern that can’t hold water.
It’s almost like: “I’m okay; you’re okay. We don’t really need to fully repent. We can stay as we are.” But then God can’t fully come:

[Mike Bickle IHOP 3/08] Making a Purity Covenant: Seven Practical Commitments — The Lord will visit IHOP-KC with an open door of glory in the spirit and a door of ministry to the nations. When Jesus opens a door of glory to release more of His manifest presence then He requires more agreement with His heart (a higher standard of obedience). … This is a promise with a warning of judgment.

Mike Bickle: Making a Purity Covenant so the HOLY Spirit can come and we won’t get zapped … to bless His heart — that we may be ONE!

Isn’t eternal security the opposite of what Jonathan Edwards taught, which sparked the first Great Awakening — “Sinners in the hand of an angry God”? For the ‘church’ in America, today, going to hell isn’t even a possibility.
Most Bible teachers no longer teach the numerous warning scriptures that do apply to those who are born-again.
Jonathan Edwards wouldn’t even be allowed to speak today. He’s not evangelically correct.

False doctrine is what’s keeping the Third Great Awakening from happening.
But conversely, true doctrine, teaching the entire New Testament (not leaving out the many warning scriptures) can bring in the Third Great Awakening.
Who will lead us to worship in Spirit and in truth?
Paul said in Romans 8:

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. … 4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [Romans 8:1b is missing from the NIV and others: Is Murdoch’s NIV the ‘N’ew ‘I’lluminati ‘V’ersion? Has the Word of God Been Corrupted to Bring US Into the New World Order?]

12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God. 15 For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God; 17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.

Many other scriptures like these are highlighted at Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way. But here is what Allen taught, word for word. Why is his conclusion so incorrect?
Transcribed by Jeff Fenske from the IHOPU Student Awakening, 4/15/10
Allen Hood, President of IHOPU

Whether you feel like He loves you or not, beloved — if you’re wondering whether or not He loves you, tonight, I have good news for you. 2,000 years ago, He drove a stake into human history and displayed the depths of His love, that you might never have to guess again.

2,000 years ago, when we rejected Him, when we scorned the one sent to us in love, He forgave us on that cross — even when we were killing Him; even when we were rejecting the Lord of glory, He said, ‘Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.’

What do you do with a God Who even when you reject Him and kill Him, He fights for you in love and chooses to forgive you?

And you wonder whether or not He’s forgiven you of the last five years. You wonder whether or not He’s forgiven you for last week or yesterday.”

My assessment:
Jesus didn’t say to those killing and mocking him, in the first person: “your sins are forgiven.” Rather, He said: “Father, [You] forgive them, for they know not what they do.” This wasn’t when we were forgiven, nor were most of them. The curse was even on their children, right?
Jesus was doing what Stephen did and what we should be doing — asking God to forgive our enemies.
When Stephen was stoned, he cried: “Lord, don’t hold this sin against them,” that doesn’t mean that those who stoned Stephen were forgiven, but Stephen wanted them to be. He prayed that they would be.
Though still God, Jesus came to earth, putting aside His supernatural powers (Philippians 2). He was led by the Holy Spirit and empowered by the Holy Spirit just as we should be. See: A Call to Intimacy: The Holy Spirit in John’s Gospel & Epistles. At seminary, D.A. Carson gave me an A- for this paper; though, he taught just the opposite, having even written against the Vineyard movement.
Yes, Jesus chose to forgive, just as Stephen chose to forgive, just as we are supposed to forgive. But this has nothing to do with whether we stand forgiven today.
There is only ‘no condemnation’ when we are actually in Christ Jesus:

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

The reason most ‘Christians’ feel condemnation is because they are condemned because of willfully sinning sins that lead to death (Hebrews 10:26-39). Most live in Paul’s who-doesn’t-inherit-the-kingdom list in Galatians 5. See: Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God? — “There is therefore now *no condemnation* to those who are IN CHRIST Jesus, who don’t WALK according to the flesh, but ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT.”
Whose names will not be removed from the Book of Life, according to Jesus in Rev. 3:1-6?
‘ONE’ will happen when we are truly in Christ, together. And false doctrine, once-saved-always-saved (and similar) is the main thing keeping ‘ONE’ from happening — Jesus’ heart-cry for us.
OSAS is a doctrine of demons that church leaders and others pray (James-3 curse) that people will accept. And these demons in ‘Christians’ reinforce this false doctrine so hardly anyone is even willing to research what the Bible really says on who goes to heaven, really.

Worship is Wonderfully Positive at IHOP Right Now — As the world falls the church will arise!

Jaye Thomas is leading worship, right now. You can almost sense the smiles from their hearts : )
This is at the heart of what is right! Though I’d still like to see more real worship and less ~”Do this, Lord.” We don’t have to tell Him what to do. If we draw near to Him, He WILL draw near to us.

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8a)

And God inhabits the praises of His people — not the “bless us, Lord” songs:

“But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3)

When we worship, He will bless us if we’re worshiping in Spirit and in TRUTH – right with God and each other! We will be filled! It’s automatic. He said what He’d do. He will honor His word.
Jaye’s team (Cory’s team, actually) will be worshiping on and off for the first half of tonight’s regularly scheduled Student Awakening meeting. The meetings can be watched online, Wed – Sat, 6 pm – 12 pm (central time), every week. http://www.ihop.org/Publisher/Article.aspx?ID=1000067211
Archives of the awakening are also available for a few days at the prayer room’s archive player: http://www.ihop.org/Publisher/Article.aspx?ID=1000058181
There seems to be an extra-specially positive attitude at IHOP in the past week or two, which I’m thinking may be due to the recent teachings on worship that I’ve only gotten a glimpse of, so far, watching Mike Bickle’s podcast and hearing a small portion of the messages he was referring to (webcast), that were taught at IHOP, recently:

Luke Wood: A Picture of Your Love

You’re faithful
You’re always good
You’re always good

Your love is the rock that I cling to.
Your name is the tower that I run into.
Your strength is what lifts my head when it’s bowed low,
And your song is the light that shines through my window.

And like the sun after all of the rain’s gone,
The morning without any clouds comes,
With a picture of Your love.

And when I think of the stars so high over me,
The moon and the stars that let everyone see,
A picture of your love.

And after the rain has fallen, and after the clouds all roll away,
The sweetest name remains, on my soul.

[probably from onething ’06 – ed.]

‘Cause you’re faithful, always the same.
You’re faithful. You never change
You’re faithful. You’re always good. You’re always good.

And though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I have no doubt, You’ve already gone ahead,
My fire by night, my cloud by day.

Mike Bickle: The most miserable people in the whole earth = TOO MUCH GOD TO ENJOY SIN; TOO MUCH SIN TO ENJOY GOD. WholeHEARTedness: it's the only way we can function right.

Transcribed by Jeff Fenske from IHOP’s Passion for Jesus webcast, part 4, 4/9/10, Friday afternoon

“There’s so many believers trying to have just enough God to get into the kingdom, but just enough sin so they can stay in their same social circle.

Too much God to enjoy sin; too much sin to enjoy God.

It’s really true. The most miserable people in the earth are people with false doctrines of grace, where they see grace as permission to keep compromising — instead of grace as God’s forgiveness when we repent, and then empowering us to wholeheartedness.

Wholeheartedness: it’s the only way we can function right. We were made by God to be wholehearted. If we don’t have something to do for we have nothing to live for.

We can’t live half-hearted. We’ll die of boredom. And many are dying spiritually of boredom. They won’t go all the way.”

IHOP's Archives Player Has Disappeared [updated 4/5]

4/5 update:
A beta version of the new archives player is up, which isn’t working very well in both Safari and Firefox on my Mac. Hopefully, they’ll get things worked out.
So far, it looks like there will be some drawbacks and advantages to this new player.

—————-

IHOP’s archives player is missing from their website.
I’m hoping this isn’t permanent. My preferred way (by far) to watch and listen to IHOP’s prayer room and the awakening services The Prayer Room at IHOP: How to navigate the Archives player to watch different sessions or to pause, repeat, … isn’t currently available.
I wrote IHOP to see if this will be permanent, and if so, will be a way to still access the player by paid subscription.
Personally, I try to find the most inspirational moments in the prayer room, and listen only to them. The live, streaming options they have now are like stepping back into the dark ages for me. I hope there is a way out, and I don’t mind paying for it.
Wes Hall has been saying that only about half of the webstream expenses are being covered, so they may have cut the archives player as part of the cost saving.

The History of Reverse-Worship: The Focus is On Us, Not HIM — A Disturbing Trend

From: ONEcanhappen

The History of Reverse-Worship:
The Focus is On Us, Not HIM

By Jeff Fenske

You may have heard this analogy:

First, their was LIFE magazine.

Then, PEOPLE.

Then, US,

And now we have SELF magazine.

No, it didn’t start with HIM magazine, but this shows a trend in America towards self-centeredness — and this is what has happened to worship in the church.
Isn’t worship blessing God, glorifying Him, magnifying God, the Father and Jesus: “You are worthy; You are holy; We magnify You” — not us?
For the years of my early Christian life, starting in the mid-70s, this was what I saw worship as being. And direct-to-God “You are Worthy” worship songs was what I found worked in Bible school in the early ’80s and other places I led worship.
By ‘worked,’ I mean, when we worshiped God, He was blessed and we were filled with the Holy Spirit in a tangible way. We could feel it.
This wasn’t working as well in the main congregation, which is another story — another factor. God honors people who worship in Spirit and in truth. There was a holiness and a hunger in the students and faculty in Bible school that wasn’t as prevalent in the entire church body, including some of the leaders, unfortunately. Still, the songs sung weren’t “bless me, Lord” songs.
Then came the Vineyard Movement, which I actually have mostly positive feelings about. I appreciated John Wimber’s research into early church history, and his teachings about “Doing the stuff,” doing what Jesus did. He read the Gospels in a whole new way, to find out how Jesus did it. We’re supposed to walk as He walked, right? During this time, I wrote, A Call to Intimacy: The Holy Spirit in John’s Gospel & Epistles. The Bible clearly shows that Jesus was led by the Spirit just as we are to. Jesus was our example that we should follow in His steps. We are even to forgive as He forgave! “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” People are demonized. Our warfare is not against flesh and blood, Paul said. But that’s another subject.
I was also greatly impressed by the Vineyard worship music, before the music died (in the early ’90s). So many great worship songs came from that movement. And I don’t understand why these aren’t still standards. Even at IHOP, rarely do they sing these great songs.
But along with the gold, I saw this tendency start in which this “Holy Spirit, come” theme started appearing, along with the “Bless me, Lord” songs.
What I’ve found is that when we bless God, He blesses us automatically: ~”Draw near to Me and I’ll draw near to you.” James 4:

…it says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

Isn’t this how we’re supposed to be filled? It is biblical to be filled with the Spirit. “Don’t be drunk with wine, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.” We should be filled 24/7. It’s a Godly thing to want to be filled, to be soaring in God, experientially. But where does it say we are to tell Him to fill us. “Fill us, Lord!” I hear over and over at the IHOP revival [which I mostly also love very much]. And they sing: “Send your rain.” Do this for us, Lord. We tell You what to do; who is Lord here?
I get so tired of watching the worship during the IHOPU Student Revival, waiting for a worship song that we can all worship God with.
About a week ago, I thought Ryan Kondo was going to lead the group into pure worship, the way he had just done in the IHOP prayer room,  [Screenshots] Ryan Kondo MAXIMUM Worship! The Way I Always Want To LIVE!. He started in the same way, singing the same pure-worship song. But then a singer who is normally not on his team hijacked the song into “fill us, Lord,” and I think it ruined what could have and probably should have happened.
Granted, the people weren’t totally there, ready to worship. There is far too much willful sin that is a salvation issue; though, people are taught it isn’t, even at IHOP. Many were mostly interested in receiving. But that is where worship leaders need to really lead. Real worship leaders go, and then the others follow. It’s easy to go with the flow, staying distant, where people are comfortable, playing “bless me, Lord” songs, or songs about us and God.
And what happened to the intimate ballads from the Vineyard era, like “Isn’t He.” John Wimber wrote that. Why don’t we keep what worked and discard what isn’t really biblical and doesn’t really bless God?
I would like to discard the “bless me” songs. Not long ago, they weren’t even sung at all, in my experience, anyway. Keith Green shows that the concept was there, though, in this song from his album, No Compromise, 1978.

Asleep in the Light

Oh bless me Lord, bless me Lord,
You know it’s all I ever hear
.
No one aches, no one hurts,
No one even sheds one tear.
But He cries, He weeps, He bleeds,
And He cares for your needs.
And you just lay back
And keep soaking it in
.”

I don’t have any problems with people going to meetings where God is moving in order to get filled with the Spirit. I attended 33 of the 36 meetings that Rodney Howard-Browne held in Anchorage, Alaska. I was touched greatly. I also went to the Toronto blessing twice. If I lived in Kansas, I’d go to some of the IHOP meetings. But this isn’t the revival that is meant to be, yet.
I don’t see any calls for people to get right with those they’ve hurt, which was the hallmark of the Asbury Revival: Asbury Revival, 1970: “Dr. Kinlaw, I am a liar. Now what do I do?”
And Shelley [a leader at IHOP] got a dream about how Jonathan Edwards is a key to the Third Great Awakening coming, but the IHOP leaders almost totally ignore his theme: Sinners in the hands of a God Who doesn’t have a joyful heart about the state of the church, today. The fact is that most ‘Christians’ aren’t right with God enough to go to heaven: Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way, but this doesn’t fit our “we’re saved no matter what” and “God loves us no matter what” theology, that really is from the pit of hell, and is really the number one reason that we’re not seeing full-fledged revival. And it’s the number one reason why people (even most church leaders) aren’t comfortable singing real-worship songs, like I’ve been seeing Jaye Thomas do on the few occasions he’s led in the IHOP prayer room, recently. I would love to see him be allowed to lead worship during an awakening meeting. And I’m hoping that he’ll have the guts to worship no matter what, just like he’s been doing in the prayer room: [Screenshots] IHOP Real-Worship Leader: Jaye Thomas!!!
Where did the “bless me, Lord,” “fill us, Lord” trend actually originate? I think it mainly came from the Vineyard movement.
It’s buried in a box, somewhere, so I can’t quote the reference, but I read in a book that I bought in the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship book store something like this. Apparently, John Wimber taught that they found a prayer in the early church fathers writings, which I think was something like “Come, Holy Spirit” [If anyone knows the exact prayer quote, I’m interested.], and this is mainly what they based the “fill us, Lord” concept on.
I’m very thankful for what God is doing at IHOP. And I greatly appreciate what Mike Bickle and Wes Hall have done to create this great atmosphere in which God is definitely moving. But this is just a drop in the bucket, as Wes so often states. He talks about the River flowing.
Well, what is keeping The River from flowing? I think it’s unbiblical doctrine about who goes to heaven. That’s number one. And that is part of why attendees don’t want to directly worship God in their hearts.
But reverse-worship is also a great problem. And I see it wasting so much time, which we really don’t have right now.
May we get our doctrines right, including what worship really is.
“He is the potter; we are the clay.” He doesn’t obey us; we obey Him. Who is Lord? Worship is about Him, not about us.
We need a vision of how great He really is, how holy He really is. Jaye Thomas recently sung:

There is One seated on the throne, He is God,
seated on the throne, and He is holy
.

“We join with the four living creatures.
We sing the song that the angels sing.
We want to know what they know.
We want to see what they see when they cry holy, holy, holy!

We sing holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.
We sing holy, holy, holy is the Lamb!

Reverse-Christianity is taking us down. But real Christianity can take us up where we belong — soaring in Him — right with one another — pure and clean — in fear and awe and in love with Him.
We can be ONE with Him when we are ONE with each other, Jesus prayed in John 17. “Then the world will know.”
This “bless me, Lord” stuff….
Let’s worship Him alone. Paul talked about how we’d worship the creation instead of the Creator. This is happening in America, big-time! Look at the emphasis on the human body. Romans 1 isn’t just about homosexuality. It’s not even mainly about homosexuality. It’s about worshiping the creation instead of the Creator. This is our sin.
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Draw near to Him and He’ll draw near to you.”
It’s guaranteed. He will fill us when we worship Him in Spirit and in truth. We don’t have to ask Him to — or tell Him to [God is so amazingly patient in putting up with all of this, I think. I don’t even hear a ‘please’]. He will just do it. It’s as sure as gravity.
Power to the peaceful.
Which reminds me: when are evangelical Christians going to publicly repent for supporting the reverse-Christian wars? Our hands have to be clean, you all.
“What are we waiting for,” I believe I just heard.

Wes Hall [IHOP] on William Seymour's *1909 prophecy* of the SHEKINAH GLORY RETURNING to the church *in 100 years*: "Let me tell you about the church in the book of Acts. ..the fear of God was on the community, and…they were highly esteemed" | My theory …

Transcribed by Jeff Fenske from IHOPU Student Awakening, 3/11/09

“The Lord said the Shekinah is returning to the church [William Seymour, 1909: Next Revival Will Come in About 100 Years — It’s Due!]. It will return to the church — the same shekinah presence that was in Azusa Street will come in a greater measure in a hundred years time. In 2009, 2010, the Lord will restore the shekinah glory to the church. …

I believe we’re at the beginning of the beginning of the return of that open-heaven reality that the church in the book of Acts lived under.

I tell you, you came, tonight, and said, ‘Wow, I was expecting the wine all night,’ and we went into repentance.

Let me tell you about the church in the book of Acts. It said: everyone was scared of joining them. It said the fear of God was on the community, and no one dared join them. But they were highly esteemed.

Why did no one dare join them? Because if you went into their presence and you weren’t in a right spirit, you would get carried out dead because no flesh can glory in His sight.

Ananias and Sapphira walk in. They hide part of the truth and they’re carried out dead, because there was such a presence of the Lord. The Holy Spirit will not be manipulated, and the Lord is coming.

Beloved, they got carried out dead, but at the same time, Peter’s shadow was healing the sick. Unusual miracles were worked by Peter and Paul in the book of Acts, as there was an open-heaven reality over the church.

In my opinion:
At Asbury, they got right with each other so then the Shekinah could come: Asbury Revival, 1970: “Dr. Kinlaw, I am a liar. Now what do I do?” But God couldn’t stay in His glory because their salvation doctrine was a broken cistern that couldn’t hold Water. And this is why current day awakenings/revivals haven’t fully blossomed and remained.

First, we must get our salvation doctrine right, Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way, so we can get and keep our lives right; then the Shekinah can come — and stay.
If we build it He will come: “Let Us Be ONE” (A Prophecy)

Effects of the WELSH REVIVAL 1904-05: Whole communities were radically changed FROM DEPRAVITY TO GLORIOUS GOODNESS. The CRIME RATE dropped, often to nothing. Be Magnified!

Be exalted in our praises
Be enthroned upon our love, Lord

Be magnified!

Do I miss direct-to-God, “YOU are worthy,” hot, hot, hot worship!!! I played these 20 minutes over and over. Most ‘worship’ is just fluff in comparison. What a breath of fresh air!
Ryan Kondo fantastically led, the drummer was kicking it. This isn’t whimp worship. And I can’t say that I’m crazy about the lead guitarist’s tone: harsh, clangy yet in-your-face sassy, but this demonstratees that heart is more important than tone. “Make a joyful noise” illustrated?
After the prayers, Ryon prophecied this:

“Do not forget the hour that you’re living in. Business as usual will not do anymore. …

Can you feel the urgency of the hour that you are living in? This is the final generation. …

Business as usual will not do anymore. The status quo will not do anymore. I’m setting you apart: holy unto the Lord.

Holy unto the Lord. …

The hour is late, the need is great, will you answer My call?

The hour is late, the need is great, would you answer My call?

You could still catch this in the next few days, navigating this way and following their schedule. He’s wearing a green t-shirt, a stocking cap, and an acoustic guitar.

We join with the angels with the chorus of heaven:

You are mighty, mighty, mighty
You are holy, holy, holy
You are mighty, mighty, mighty
You are holy, holy, holy
You are mighty, mighty, mighty
You are holy, holy, holy
You are mighty, mighty, mighty
You are holy, holy, holy
You are mighty, mighty, mighty
You are holy, holy, holy
You are mighty, mighty, mighty
You are holy, holy, holy
You are mighty, mighty, mighty
You are holy, holy, holy

All cry holy
All cry holy
All cry holy
All cry holy

Be exalted in our praises
Be enthroned upon our love, Lord

You are holy, holy, holy
You are mighty, mighty, mighty

Be magnified!

Love the Lord, your God
with all of your
heart, soul, mind and strength!

Ryan Kondo: “Glory and Dominion”

Rachael's Testimony: "I didn't know it was depression. I tried to always put on this happy face, try to make everyone happy. I was very good at wearing masks. I was very good at being a chameleon. … When that spirit left, I didn't even know that it was there. … I feel so bright, and I feel like clean before the Lord. I feel like I can love others so purely…"

Rachael’s Testimony:
I’ve been dealing with depression since I was 3-years old — and torment. I didn’t know it was torment. I didn’t know it was depression. I tried to always put on this happy face, try to make everyone happy. I was very good at wearing masks. I was very good at being a chameleon.
I was just sad in my heart all the time. And this darkness just wrapped around me, and tormenting thoughts when I would go to sleep….
When He delivered me of self-hatred, I just felt so free in my heart. And then the Lord took three months of joy. He just poured out His wine on me, and He showed me how much He loved me and how beautiful I am to Him.
And it was at that 3-month mark that He went deeper into delivering me from torment. And when that spirit left, I didn’t even know that it was there. And when it was gone, I feel so bright, and I feel like clean before the Lord. I feel like I can love others so purely….”

The Spirit of Suicide — Wes Hall: “There are some of you here who wrestle under a spirit of torment, depression and suicidal thoughts. And the Lord wants to set you free! … Some of you have been involved in sin, and the shame of that sin has led you into depression and thoughts of suicide, and that you’re never going to make it to God’s standard.”

During the IHOPU Awakening, tonight, Robert, an IHOPU student testified how he had wrestled with suicidal thoughts every night even as a born-again Christian, IHOP student. Wes Hall responds:
“He used to want to kill himself all night, every night, and he hasn’t wanted to kill himself once since November [since he got set free at the revival].
Beloved, there are some of you, here, who wrestle under a spirit of torment, depression and suicidal thoughts. And the Lord wants to set you free tonight.
He has done it with Robert. Robert is just one example of many.
Young people, some of you have been involved in sin, and the shame of that sin has led you into depression and thoughts of suicide, and that you’re never going to make it to God’s standard, and so why don’t you kill yourself.
And you’re into cutting, and you just get deeper and deeper and deeper into sin. Or you just live under this spirit of torment and suicide because of how you see yourself in the mirror.
Whatever the reason is, you live under this heavy cloud and this heavy weight, and this spirit of torment day after day after day — some of you it’s been years.
I don’t know if Stephanie is still here. Stephanie was here this week, and she came over from California. And she had been living under a similar thing for 44 years, since she was 6 years old. And in a moment, the Lord set her free. And I tell you, I just observed her, these past few nights, in this cloud of the joy of the Lord.
It really is possible for the Lord to set you free.”
Some of you, the depression is because of certain TV shows you watch late at night. You watch certain movies and certain TV shows and you wonder why you want to kill yourself and why you feel depressed when you wake up in the morning, and it’s because you’ve been feeding yourself  from demonic ideas from those TV shows.
I’m not talking about ‘X’ rated. I’m not talking about ‘R’ rated shows. I’m talking about the run of the mill.”
– Wes Hall, IHOPU provost
_____
I would like to add that for some reason, the IHOP leaders don’t seem to be discussing the importance and the freedom of reconciliation — at least up until this point. Getting right with those that they hurt was the main theme of the Asbury revival Asbury Revival, 1970: “Dr. Kinlaw, I am a liar. Now what do I do?”
It’s important to be clean so freedom can last forever and ever — and so we can have confidence before God, now, and when we see Him face to face. Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way

IHOP prophecy: "Woe to those who prophesy peace and safety"

“Woe to those who prophesy peace and safety.”

– the last words of a prophecy by
Jon Rizzo in the IHOP Prayer Room, 2/24

A Prayer Sung at IHOP (wonderful, yet partly problematic. "There's too much telling God what to do"): "Turn my eyes from worthless things, even the permissible that's not beneficial. Fill me with life."

Transcribed by Jeff Fenske from a prayer sung during worship/intercession with Matt Gilman (who is on fire right now, having been touched big-time regarding his prophetic anointing on Saturday night at the IHOPU Awakening) at the IHOP Prayer Room, 2/23/10.
.

Turn my eyes from worthless things,
even the permissible that’s not beneficial.

Fill me with life.
.

This concept is wonderful, spending our time only on what’s beneficial, which is why I posted this. But I have this reservation, which I think is significant.
In my opinion, there is too much asking (even telling) God to do things for us that He has already empowered us to do.
I know I’m being picky here, but it’s been something that has concerned me for many years. Why are we putting the this on God? Why are we asking Him to do something He’s already promised He would help us do?
Whose responsibility is it to turn our eyes? Ours or God’s?
God gives us the grace (those of us who are born-again), He will always give us the power of the Holy Spirit so we will be able to turn our own eyes.
He won’t do it for us, but He’ll help us and empower us to do it, by His grace.
And regarding asking/telling God: “Fill me with life.”
He already promised He would respond in this way:
“Draw near to God and He’ll draw near to you.” (James 4)
He will. We don’t have to ask Him to, tell Him to, beg Him to. He will when we draw near to Him in holiness, right with each other — worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth.
It’s automatic. “We don’t have to work it up.” We need to prepare a place for Him.
He will draw near to us when we truly will draw near to Him — worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth
We’re living in the new covenant now. The Holy Spirit is in us 24/7, ready to go.
I would prefer these versions:

Let’s turn our eyes from worthless things,
even the permissible that’s not beneficial.

Thank you for filling us with life.

Or

We turn our eyes from worthless things,
even the permissible that’s not beneficial.

We look to You as the source of life.
.

How did they do it at the Asbury Revival when God showed up BIG-TIME?

Asbury Revival, 1970: “Dr. Kinlaw, I am a liar. Now what do I do?”
Let’s get right with each other and then we can worship!!!
Mt. 5:

23 “If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
