[DVD] Raised from the Dead
This is the remarkable story of a Nigerian pastor, Daniel Ekechukwu, who was fatally injured in a car accident near the town of Onitsha, Nigeria, Africa on November 30th, 2001. During a dramatic journey to a hospital in Owerri, Nigeria, he lost all life signs and was later pronounced dead by two different medical staff in two different hospitals. The latter wrote a Medical report and commissioned the corpse to the mortuary. But Daniel´s wife remembered a verse in Scripture from Hebrews 11: “Women received their dead raised to life again.” She heard about a meeting where Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke was going to preach, and proceeded by bringing Daniel´s body in his coffin. What follows is a story you will never forget.

The angel told Daniel in heaven: “Jesus has finished his work. The mansions are ready, but the saints are not ready.”
“We are now going to visit Hell.”
“Daniel, if the book of your life was to be closed today, this would be your portion.”
“No, I’m a pastor; I’m a child of God. I’m born-again — and I’ve preached all over….”
“Enough, Daniel, on your way to the first hospital, you were asking God to forgive you, but you would not forgive your wife. And your sins have not been forgiven. It is a matter of reaping what you’ve sown. You cannot sow unforgiveness to your wife and reap forgiveness from God.”

Report One of Four
Pastor Daniel Ekechukwu and his Resurrection from the Dead
By David Servant
Soon after it occurred in December of 2001, I heard the report of Nigerian pastor Daniel Ekechukwu’s resurrection via e-mail from my friend, pastor David K. Aboderin, of Lagos, Nigeria. …. I wanted to learn more about the incident.
[…]
The most surprising thing is what happened next. The escorting angel told pastor Daniel, “If your record is to be called here, you will in no doubt be thrown into hell.” Pastor Daniel immediately defended himself saying, “I am a man of God! I serve Him with all my heart!” But a Bible appeared in the angel’s hand, and it was opened to Matthew 5 where Jesus warned that if one calls his brother a fool he is guilty enough to go into the hell of fire (see Matt. 5:21-22). Pastor Daniel knew he was guilty for the angry words he had spoken to his wife. The angel also reminded him that Jesus promised that God will not forgive our sins if we do not forgive others (see Matt. 6:14-15), because we will reap what we have sown. Only those who are merciful will obtain mercy (Matt 5:7). The angel told Daniel that the prayers he prayed as he was dying in the hospital were of no effect, because he refused to forgive his wife even when she attempted to reconcile on the morning of his fatal accident.
Pastor Daniel wept at this revelation, but the angel told him not to cry, because God was going to send him back to the earth to grant the rich man’s request (see Luke 16:27-30). A man would come back from the dead and warn people of hell. The angel said that Daniel’s resurrection would serve as a sign and be the last warning for this generation.
[…]
As you may imagine, pastor Daniel greatly emphasizes in his preaching the need to forgive those who have wronged us, lest anyone suffer the fate he almost suffered. How important it is that we obey Jesus’ commandments regarding forgiveness and walking in love toward each other, as well as all the rest of His commandments. It is indeed time for the church to repent and “pursue peace with all men, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14). Do not listen to false teachers who say that holiness is not essential to ultimately gain eternal life. Jesus warned that only those who do the will of His Father will enter the kingdom of heaven (see Matt. 7:21). Do not listen to teachers who say that if you are once saved you are guaranteed that you will always be saved. Jesus warned His closest disciples (see Matt. 24:1-3) of the possibility of their not being ready when He returned and being cast into hell (see Matt. 24:42-25:46).
If we expect God to forgive us, we must forgive others. That is what Jesus solemnly promised. Are you ready to stand before Jesus, sincere and blameless?

Report Two of Four
Pastor Daniel Ekechukwu Resurrection and the Need for Forgiveness and Repentance
by David Servant
What about the theological implications of Daniel’s experience in hell? …
Certainly the one aspect of Daniel’s experience in hell that is the most sobering was the angel’s declaration that Daniel would have ended up there because of his unforgiveness (if God had not had mercy on him). …
In pastor Daniel’s case, his wife had sought for reconciliation, Daniel had refused her, and then he experienced his ill-timed death. Thank God that He had mercy on Daniel, and in so doing, God has shown His mercy to all of us who are not ready to stand before Him because of unforgiveness in our hearts. …
We, too, should maintain an “open-heart” policy, always doing what we can to be at peace with others. In this regard, Paul wrote, “If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men” (Rom. 12:18). Both Jesus and Stephen prayed for God to forgive the very people who were killing them. We, too, have the same capacity to love by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Daniel Ekechukwu is now calling Christians to do what Christ has been commanding all His followers to do for two thousand years: forgive one another. And he is doing it with the passion of a man who really believes that Jesus meant what He said.

ive always un derstood that once you accept christ in your heart that you would go to heaven. the paster obviously had accepted christ, so why would he end up in hell anyway?
Jeff Fenske
Malery,
Thanks for asking.
This is why I posted this, so people would learn the truth that even willful unforgiveness is sufficient to keep us out of heaven. The unbiblical doctrine of eternal security is taught by many pastors, and is sending many people to Hell unaware. And one of their favorite verses is Romans 8:1, for which many of the modern translations have taken out the second part of the verse, which also agrees with 8:4. Compare Romans 8:1 in the NIV vs the KJV or NKJV.
Also, regarding willfully unforgiving, consider the Lord’s Prayer and the verses that follow.
I have written this article, which is a collection of Scriptures which show who does go to heaven, biblically:
Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God?
Luther and Calvin were also deceived, and now their doctrines, which they did not get from the Holy Spirit, seem to be prevailing in these very deceptive and spiritually dark last days. But when we get our doctrine right, not only will many more go to heaven, but we can have revival, and then the world will know (Jesus’ heart-cry in John 17) — which is what this site is about: ‘ONE’ happening!

I have seen the film a few times, I do remember that he said that there was fear of the Lord now and he didn’t go on arguing with his wife, but I missed that the angel said that. It’s what the Bible teaches, thanks for sharing.

I find it odd that in his visit to heaven the angel Daniel told him hell would be his lot. Yet in interviews he expressed that we not god send ourselves to hell. He was shocked in his video that the angel Daniel told him this. He said but I am a pastor. This sounds like a contradiction. Either God is judging us or we are judging ourselves. Also his wife took him out of the morgue and started a prayer vigil. That is amazing faith. Mother Mary has a scarab that will not allow demons to interfere with you after death. Could it not be possible he saw a terrible vision. The faith of his wife was rewarded. Now he spreads a message of fear. We are all sinners. There is no perfection in any of us. His message to me says you must learn the word. Live by it to perfection or your lot is hell. He was mad at his wife for slapping him. Sure he didn’t forgive her right away like a good follower of christ. But jesus said. So whomever believes in me will have eternal life. Something is missing in his story. Or the bible is incomplete or mistranslated or something. It doesn’t add up to me. There are other NDE accounts of people with no faith that met the creator. They don’t speak of harsh judgment or hell. Oddly others do. I do not like this man’s message completely. Yes follow the law with everyrhing you got. But this message strikes fear into the listener. And has some odd details. So many people are going to hell if this is true. Which contradicts the truth of the bible to me. If jesus died for our sins. We are told through repentance, we are forgiven. And eternal life is ours. But if one sin caused this man eternal damnation, something is unimaginably different from what we know. Either the holy spirit wrote the bible or he didnt. If you believe the holy spirit wrote the bible this story is incomplete. Or possibly a lucid dream. Or a demonic influence on this man before he passed to where he was supposed to go. My personal belief is that was his test before entering heaven. His wife’s amazing faith was rewarded. Now he thinks what he saw is the truth. Odd how nobody mentions or gives that woman credit for what she did. Absolutely unheard of. I apologize if i offeneded anyone with this message. This story has been bothering me for quite some time. I’ve thought about it and this is what makes sense to me. Read about the scarabs given to us by mother mary. I didn’t know such a thing was possible myself. Wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t in my mind.

Even though few pastors will admit it, the New Testament is very clear that we must overcome sin, by the Holy Spirit’s grace and enablement, or we will go to hell.
Jesus came to set us free from sin and sinning. If we are born-again and forgiven, and then choose to keep on sinning, living according to the flesh and not according to the Spirit, we will reap what we have sown, eternal punishment in hell.
We said we need to do whatever we have to in order to not keep on sinning, and part of that is meeting together as the body of Christ, worshiping in Spirit and in truth, being able to lift up holy hands. Then He’ll fill us with His glory, “that the world will know” (John 17).
Instead of trying to talk ourselves out of what the Bible really says, we should embrace the truth, and live holy lives pleasing to the Lord, so our hearts will be pure and consciences clean, now, and when we see Jesus face to Face.
Or we’ll spend eternity seriously regretting rebelling and choosing our own way, instead of following Him, carefully until we die, to live with Him forever in peace and glorious joy and fulfillment, 24/7.
Now is our challenge. Now is our test. We need to run our race to win, and not wimp out. Just because “everyone else is doing it” is no excuse.
This is what the Bible really says. The way really is that narrow even if the deception in these last days is almost complete, at this point. We must overcome. Jesus set us free to live in Him, the victorious life. But it’s our choice. We have free will to live holy, or to let the demons in, to drive our sin and unbelief.
We must shut the door to sin, regardless of how easy it is, today. We need to do whatever we have to in order to live in Christ, and stop making excuses.
And Mary was a great woman, but she doesn’t hold any special powers to be able to answer prayer. That’s a myth, and a doctrine of demons, as is much of the unbiblical Catholic doctrine that has pagan origin, not Christian.
Check these scriptures out, which starts with my dream, in which I was told that I was in danger of going to hell if I kept willfully sinning. Then I did a more careful study….
