Your love, oh Lord Reaches to the heavens Your faithfulness Stretches to the skies Your righteousness is Like the mighty mountain, yeah Your justice flows like The ocean’s tides
I will lift my voice To worship You, my King I will find my strength In the shadow of Your wings
Second video below shows why the abrupt cut-off in this one.
“Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word, that they may ALL be ONE; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be ONE IN US; THAT THE WORLD MAY BELIEVEthat you sent me.
THE GLORY which you have given me, I have GIVEN to them; THAT THEY MAY BE ONE, EVEN AS WE ARE one; I in them, and you in me, that they may be PERFECTED into one; THAT THE WORLD MAY KNOW that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.”

Petra – ‘We Need Jesus’
When will the world see that we need Jesus? If we open our eyes, we will all realize that He loves us, oh yea When will the world see that we need Jesus? When our hearts are as one and believe that He’s the Son of our God
[…]
When will the world see that we need Jesus? When sister and brother love one another as one When will the world see that we need Jesus? Will we ever understand Jesus is the Son of man? We must live in the shadow of His love

I purchased the DVD/CD boxed set used here, but the video portion (almost 4 hours) can be watched for free at Amazon for those who have a Prime account: Part One & Part Two.
The late 60’s and early ’70’s were a time of tremendous upheaval in American culture as the hippie generation abandoned the values of their parents, turned to drugs and away from materialism, and went on a search for love and peace. For these young people, “the establishment” which included the church, seemed irrelevant. At times it felt like the very fabric of our nation might tear apart.
It was out of this tumultuous era that young, musical voices began to surface. These newly converted musicians began singing about the new hope they had found through Jesus Christ.
First Love examines the life and music of the people who birthed the sounds of a revolution that swept American culture. It became know as the Jesus Movement. For three historic days, these artists gathered for the first time in a mountain retreat in Southern California and First Love Volumes I & II captures almost 4 hours of each of their incredible live performances and reveals a rare look at the heart and motives of each artist as they describe in intimate detail the drama of their personal transformation.

“We didn’t know very much. We were naive. All we knew was we were blind, now we see. And that was enough.” – Love Song
One of my favorite kick-demon-butt songs, which I heard on the radio one time only, while visiting Nashville, Tennessee, while renting a blue Eagle Talon. I pulled over to focus on the song, which I then tracked down as DJ Miko’s remix of the famous 4 Non Blondes’ song.
Put on THE WHOLE ARMOR of God, that you may be ABLE TO STAND AGAINST the wiles of the devil. 12 For OUR WRESTLING is NOT AGAINST FLESH and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the SPIRITUAL FORCES OF WICKEDNESS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES. … Stand therefore …with all prayer and requests, PRAYING AT ALL TIMES IN THE SPIRIT, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints…. (Eph. 6:11-18)
Someone’s on the prowl, trying to take us down But we ain’t giving up now A liar and a thief, coming after you and me But we ain’t giving up now
The harder the wind will blow, the deeper our roots will go,
And the devil’s gonna hang, oh the devil is gonna hang, The devil is gonna hang from his own gallows
Though the waters try to drown, and the flames they surround oh We ain’t giving up now Even though we may tread through the valley of death oh We ain’t giving up now
If you’re stumbling in the dark, run your hands against the walls Find every window, every door, throw them open, throw them open In will flood a blinding light, and it will chase away the night Even if you shield your eyes, let it pour in, let it pour in
49:20 “There’s a scripture that says ‘when you have done all these different things that is such is your reasonable service.’ … When you get to the height of heights, there’s no reason for you to take any credit for it or feel like you did something because that’s just your reasonable service.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. – Rom. 12:1
II 7:50 Most “worship” today is “entertainment worship,” people watching but not worshiping.
Glorious, anointed, resting-in-God song from 1975 that I was blessed to experience as a young Christian! Christian music was awesome then, and will again be someday, when ‘ONE’ happens “that the world will know” (Jesus’ prayer in John 17)!
I was able to see Chuck a few years later, while attending the University of Minnesota — just him and a piano in the student union.
“Unmistakable background from Annie, Nell and Matthew.”
You may be a preacher with your spiritual pride You may be a city councilman taking bribes on the side You may be working in a barbershop, you may know how to cut hair You may be somebody’s mistress, may be somebody’s heir
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody, yes You’re gonna have to serve somebody Well, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord But you’re gonna have to serve somebody
My Jesus, my Savior, Lord, there is none like You; All of my days I want to praise The wonders of Your mighty love.
My comfort, my shelter, Tower of refuge and strength; Let every breath, all that I am Never cease to worship You.
Shout to the Lord, all the earth, Let us sing Power and majesty, praise to the King; Mountains bow down and the seas will roar At the sound of Your name.
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands, Forever I’ll love You, forever I’ll stand, Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.
This seems to be from this concert, the last song, which was live At Bayside Church, Roseville, CA. I was disappointed by the lack of reverence in this concert, the K-LOVE ladies and Brewster’s jokes. It wasn’t very anointed, but this is the only live performance I can find of Brewster doing this song.
