Abbott Loop’s Former Symbol: “Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit”

This used to be our church’s theme and symbol, when it still had life: (photo) Abbott Loop CC Cross: We MUST Die In Order To Live!!!

Update: I’ve been told that this cross did not survive the March-2012 roof collapse.

It had been moved from front and center to the west wall, which took the biggest hit.

Someone should resurrect this theme.

Unless the people (especially the leaders) die to self, churches cannot survive the demonic onslaughts, and will bear no fruit that will remain.
