Genesis 12:3 doesn’t mention ‘Israel’ at all:
“I will bless those who bless you [Abraham] and curse those who curse you [Abraham]; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you [Abraham’s seed: Jesus Christ].”

The sign that Rep. Jim Jordan and Rep. Mike Johnson are proudly standing by says “Blessed are those who Bless Israel.”

“That is not what it says. It says nothing about Israel, but that all families will be blessed through Abraham, that was through his seed Jesus Christ! Now you got it from a real Jew! – Steven Ben-Nun, Israeli News Live, 10/17/23
The Bible (Gen. 12:3) does NOT say 'he who blesses Israel will be blessed.' "It says nothing about Israel, but that all families will be blessed through Abraham, that was through his seed Jesus Christ! “The most misquoted verse in the Bible must be the promise God made to Abraham in Genesis 12, where he told Abraham he would bless those who bless HIM [Abraham] and curse those who curse HIM. The covenant later in Genesis 17 was passed on to his Seed on the child, which was Jesus Christ, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know what happened to those who cursed Him and those who blessed Him.” – Steven Ben-Nun
