It starts with lust, which Jesus calls heart-adultery, which he said we must overcome at all costs. Matthew 5:27-30:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. “If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. “If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell.

Even short, tight frontal hugs are sexual. I’ve seen pastors in Anchorage do full frontal, lingering hugs in front of everyone! Their wives and/or daughters wear low-cut tops, and post the photos on Facebook!
Most pastors are biblically disqualified for many reasons, and need to repent so real Christianity will happen “that the world will know” (Jesus’ prayer and promise in John 17):

“Paul’s Elders’ qualifications revisited: What does ‘BLAMELESS’ mean? — Most pastors are biblically disqualified

Evangelical megachurch founder who served as spiritual advisor to Bill Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal abruptly retires after sexual harassment allegations

  • Rev. Bill Hybels, 66, stepped down on Tuesday from his church outside Chicago
  • Follows published reports of sexual harassment allegedly spanning decades
  • Alleged behavior included comments, invitations [to hotel rooms], lingering hugs and a kiss
  • Hybels says many of the claims are false but admits he was oblivious at times
  • He served as spiritual advisor to then-President Bill Clinton during impeachment

An evangelical megachurch founder who advised Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal has abruptly resigned in the wake of sexual harassment allegations.

The Rev. Bill Hybels, 66, stepped down on Tuesday night as leader of Willow Creek Community Church in the Chicago suburb of South Barrington, one of the largest churches in the US with over 26,000 regular attendees.

The resignation, six moths ahead of Hybels’ planned retirement in October, follows published reports of church investigations into the pastor’s alleged sexual misconduct. Those investigations cleared Hybels of wrongdoing and he spoke out to deny the claims.

The alleged behavior included suggestive comments, extended hugs, an unwanted kiss and invitations to hotel rooms, according to the Chicago Tribune report.
