CD: Separation from the World
What the Early Christians Believed About Separation from the World. D. Bercot. The Bible exhorts us: “Adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” So unless we want to be an enemy of God, we need to live a life of separation from the world. This is how Christians lived when the church was still young. In this message, Bercot pinpoints five areas where the early Christians lived differently than the world around them: ● Material riches and job employment ● Entertainment ● Participation in government ● Modesty and dress ● Purity and marital fidelity 70 min. Listened to you tape on Divorce and remarriage and was very interested in getting this on a cd. Also your other teachings on cd. We both have been very anxious to know the truth about this subject. Living on Long Island has been difficult to get any input to this subject. There is much hush hush on the issue, which looking at scripture really urges us to be faithful to the words of Jesus and to understand his teachings more clearly. We thank the Lord for men like you that go all out to seek truth. Thankyou David. We are 79 and 81 and never tire of learning more about the truths of scripture so we can pass it on to others yearning to know truth also. In His Love, Herb and Anne

Hello,
This is a dark period for America spiritually, and I think false doctrine is the key problem. It’s interesting to see what the early church taught on these subjects as well as discovering what the Bible really does say.
This is not David’s site, though. It’s linked at the top of this post.
God bless,
