“Very few people say they were wrong in a public way.”

“The hardest work was to keep peeling back these layers of defensiveness —
the comfort of not looking at what I had done.”

“…why don’t THEY have to?
And suddenly these words:

‘FORGIVE US our trespasses

And that was it —
I FORGAVE….”

She she she she she… it was all about her. Now she want’s forgiveness… it’s all about choices and the consequences of our choices. She does not want to ask and be turned down. If she waits long enough of course her kids will accept her… maybe. What is lost is the caring and sharing when she left… she did not participate in the lives and contribute to their lives. What is there to forgive, the fact she choose the needs and wants of herself over the needs and wants of a family. You have the right to leave you must accept the consequences.
