I’ve linked to this article for years. It’s time I post it.
Satan knows he can’t get away with adding thousands of words,
so he deleted thousands of very significant ones
through Westcott and Hort.
The NIV, NASB, NRSV and similar are poison!
We’ve been robbed!
Consider how the deletion examples below have profoundly altered
Christian doctrine and therefore the world we live in.
I mainly use the World English Bible (WEB) and the NKJV,
Textus Receptus based translations, like the KJV.
The WEB is royalty free,
so I almost always use it for the web (no pun intended).

Would you take a magic marker to your Bible and cross out words from passages?
Welcome to the Amazing Westcott and Hort Magic Marker Binge!
The chart below illustrates what was done when the text used by Christianity for 1800 years was replaced with a text assembled by Brook Foss Westcott and Fenton John Anthony Hort in the nineteenth century and used as the basis for the English Revised Version, which nearly all modern translations closely follow.
The text shown here is the King James Version. Words, sentences, or entire verses in strikethrough illustrate portions that have been removed from the text underlying the KJV New Testament. Not all modern versions are the same. Sometimes the ESV will include a word the NIV doesn’t, or the NASB might omit a phrase the NIV and NRSV both retain, etc… but for the most part, the examples below represent nearly all of the popular modern versions. (Psudeo-KJV versions such as the NKJV are far more subtle and are a different case. See the articles section for NKJV examinations. [The NKJV does alter some words, but far less, and it doesn’t suffer from this horrendous, widespread deletion problem, W & H’s magic marker binge! The KJV is exceptionally accurate, but its language is so dated that it’s easy to misunderstand. And the KJV does have some errors, contrary to what many proclaim – editor])
A note before we get started…
Compare your modern version and see what the KJV has that yours doesn’t. This list is not comprehensive, it is just a sample! The modern critical text that forms the basis for nearly all modern versions omits the equivalent of the entire books of 1st and 2nd Peter.
Critics commonly charge that the traditional Bible text used by believers for 1800 years adds material, and that we should be thankful for Westcott and Hort who came along in the 19th century to restore the text of the New Testament that had been corrupt for 1800 years and during the entire reformation. This charge is of course made against evidence to the contrary, as you will find if you research the text lines (read other articles on this website). Further, it is interesting to note that one of these verses is this:
Romans 13:9: For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
The phrase “thou shalt not bear false witness” is missing from the modern critical text (and therefor most modern versions). Now I ask you: is it reasonable to assume that a scribe added a self-incriminating phrase to the passage? Isn’t it more likely that “those who corrupt the word of God” (2 Cor. 2:17, KJV) removed the phrase which indicted them?
Now on to Westcott and Hort’s Magic Marker Binge!
* * *
Here I list just a few of their Magic Marker Binge examples.
Imagine how just these have greatly altered what people believe and therefore do! And this only focuses on the omissions. Many words replaced too. We’ve been jacked!
Look what they’ve done to our Bible…
Mt. 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mt. 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Mt. 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Mt: 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
Mk 16:9-20 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them. Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that procedeth out of the mouth of god. There is a way that seemeth right unto man but the end us the way of death. Jesus stated that he was the word, therefore no man is to libel him. There be those that wrest the scriptures to thirty own destruction.

Dan Corner assigns KJV-only cult status. Yet you cite his work on your sight as if he had no rebuke for your poor scholarship. Just another example of your penchant for criticism of others and wanton disregard for the facts when they apply to you. While I’m not taking sides, I’m just saying you appear to rebuke others while yourself being deaf. Your buffoonery whithers any regard for your beliefs, and calls into question many of your various causes. You are sloppy with the facts, Jeff. A wise man would be more honest and circumspect.
Jeff Fenske
Joshua,
You came to this site pleading for help in how to know God and know that you’re going to heaven. I spent many hours trying to help you, stating what I would do in this situation. Obviously, you didn’t do these things, and now you just basically criticize me in the style of FOX News, which is how they try to keep listeners from accepting a guest’s ideas without addressing the ideas specifically. And you highlight FOX News on your site. Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity are especially known for using this tactic, and in so doing they’ve deceived a lot of Americans, especially evangelicals into being pro war, pro torture. They demonize good people to promote Rupert Murdoch’s agenda, and America is going down. It’s just a matter of time.
If you want to act like O’Reilly and call people like me a ‘fool’ (here you use the word buffoon), you can do so, but you can’t go to heaven that way, which you said was your main concern. You won’t even answer which Galatians-5 list you are in (in a previous comment). Jesus said in Matthew 5:
21″You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not murder;’ and ‘Whoever shall murder shall be in danger of the judgment.’ 22But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna. 23″If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, 24leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are with him in the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison. 26Most certainly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there, until you have paid the last penny.
Every time you hurt people you push the Holy Spirit away, the opposite of what you said you wanted: My notes: R. T. Kendall’s 4th message at Muldoon A of G: On being tomorrow’s man or woman | Being thankful for everything! | The most neglected teaching on the Holy Spirit: The dove is a very shy, sensitive bird. You can be in a car and someone is driving so slow in front of you and the Dove just flies away. Or “I’m just telling the truth,” but the Dove flies away. Let’s learn to get the Dove to come down and maybe the FIRE will fall!
And yes, R. T. teaches once-saved-always-saved, which seems to be the case with most pastors these days. But that doesn’t mean we can’t learn from other things they teach, which you don’t seem to think is possible.
Why do you watch FOX News, anyway? FOX News is mind-control central. It’s your life. You have the right to do what you want, but FOX is a particularly evil channel that Satan is using to destroy the United States and bring us into a one-world government. FOX News is a reverse-Christian network.
Jesus said to come out from them and be separate. “Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.”
Are you a peacemaker here? Do you even care how you treat people and whether you fairly critique a person’s work or not? You tell everybody that I have poor scholarship yet you don’t give examples which prove this. It’s one thing to talk like this in an email, which you never write. It’s quite another to make accusations like these in public, which you don’t support with facts.
And it’s like you don’t even carefully read what I write. I am not a KJV-only person. I rarely even use the KJV. KJV-only people claim that the KJV is the only perfect translation. I don’t believe there is such a thing, but the KJV is a very good text. I rarely use it because the language is so outdated that readers can misunderstand what is being said because of that alone.
We’re talking about Greek texts here, and what Westcott and Hort started that has polluted the UBS and Nestle Alland Greek texts with intentionally altered manuscripts from Egypt. They would love the NIV, which is now owned by Rupert Murdoch, owner of FOX News, by the way.
America is getting jacked. And the church is getting jacked. And we need to be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove or we won’t see the kingdom.
Rom. 8:
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; 4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
The underlined portion has been removed from the Westcott and Hort based texts, which the NIV is based upon; though, what in Christ Jesus means is also explained in verse 4, which still is in the NIV.
You came to this site, stating you felt like you may be lost, probably actually feeling the condemnation Paul discusses in verse 1. Most ‘Christians’ do actually feel condemnation, which they are told is impossible, for Christians can’t legitimately be under condemnation because they are all in Christ Jesus automatically — going to heaven because they said a prayer.
So much of today’s preaching and ‘Christian’ songs are devoted to convincing that God loves and accepts all truly born-again Christians even when they feel condemnation — instead of teaching the truth that we need to walk according to the Spirit, being harmless as a dove to actually be going-to-heaven Christians.
‘Christian’ leaders are mostly getting away with this erroneous teaching because either people are reading gutted ‘Bibles,’ or they aren’t carefully reading, being led by the Spirit when they read. “The Holy Spirit will lead [us] into all truth,” Jesus said.
The other factor is that almost all ‘Christians’ have demons (familiar spirits) that compel them towards believing a certain way and doing certain things. Few ‘Christians’ are learning how to be free.
When ‘Christians’ think that evil spirits aren’t leading or driving them to do things and to think certain ways, and they act based upon these feelings, then they’re likely to read right over the scriptures that say they can’t act this way and still go to heaven — another reason why once-saved-always-saved is so popular thought it has been soundly refuted.
So when you feel led to publicly disrespect me without justification, this is not the Holy Spirit compelling you to act this way. They are called familiar spirits because they are familiar to the person they inhabit and control.
As long as you do what you feel even when it contradicts the written word of God you will never lose the condemnation that you feel, that you asked me to help you get over.
Do you want to get free enough to admit your current condition and then do what it takes to get free?
You can’t keep doing what Galatians 5:19-21 says and expect to reap the rewards of the list that follows.
Do you even carefully read and think about what I’m writing here (I’m doing what I can to be clear), or are you off in your heart and your head as to how you can criticize me some more?
Do you think about what it means to do the second greatest commandment, to love your neighbor as yourself — to love me as you love yourself? Do you think you can be a going-to-heaven Christian without doing the greatest two commandments?
Why are you so evil? Why do you let yourself do evil things — hurting people? “Do not be deceived. God is not mocked. What you sow that will you also reap.” You must be in the Vine to be able to bear fruit that will remain (John 15), but if feels to me like you’re trying to chop down the whole tree.
You can’t be led by the demons in your heart and go to heaven.
Now regarding Dan Corner: so often you bring up people whom I find have many good things to say but who disagree in other areas, and you call this hypocrisy or something like that. I’ve explained this to you so many times, but you just keep doing this over and over to the point I wonder if it is even worth responding to anything you say.
I already pointed out that I’m not a KJV-only person, whom Dan Corner has actually publicly attacked in a non-loving way, somewhat similar to how they do it on FOX News. I don’t believe we can do this kind of thing and be a going-to-heaven Christian regardless of how truthful our analysis is. We’ll be judged by how we treat people.
So I don’t think Dan’s teaching or his lifestyle (unless he has changed) should be totally followed when it comes to who goes to heaven; though, I think I think it is wise and loving to give credit to where credit is due. And I think it is a waste of time to reinvent the wheel. I’ll quote others when they are right, regardless of what you think. I’m supposed to follow God, not you. You don’t make the rules.
So I will usually cite Dan in regards his refutation of OSAS or even in “who doesn’t go to heaven.” While I think his teaching is really poor in regarding who then are going to heaven. What must we do to be saved? It’s not just about not lusting and not lying, etc.. It’s about abiding in Christ, being led by the Holy Spirit — being as harmless as a dove as we are led by the Dove, Himself.
And Joshua, if you don’t like my style, why don’t you go somewhere else. You criticize me for quoting a lot of scripture, but I do this intentionally so the people see that this is what the Bible really says — which is the opposite of what systematic theology textbooks do — which is how most of them deceive the people into OSAS.
I didn’t write Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God? to win a contest. The monetary challenge came later, to help people realize that I’m serious about this, and they should give these scriptures a careful look, because they teach almost the opposite of what is mostly currently taught.
I put the word scriptures in the title for a reason from the get go. I’m showing that I’m not cherry picking verses from Paul’s introductions, etc.. These are from the meat of what he is writing. And I bold key parts to make it easier to follow.
I see how pastors manipulate texts, and I saw how professors did it at seminary. I want to do the opposite.
If you don’t like my extra-cautious style then why do you hang around and cause trouble?
I’ll close with these verses from Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures…, underlining a few additional words:
Gal. 5:13-6:10
13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another. 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. 26 Let’s not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another. …
6:7 Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
9 Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
So I ask you again: which list are you in?
The Bible is very clear. We must live in the second list to belong to Christ and to go to heaven.
“Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God.”
It is up to you. The choice is yours as to how you will live and where you will then go.
Sincerely,
Jeff Fenske
Joshua Howard
You lecture, harangue, patronize, mis-characterize–and you have a MASSIVE blind spot regarding yourself. Jeff, you are a misguided man who is not under the authority of elders as the New Testament requires. Which is why you’ve become a Ted Kaczynski-type person who can separate facts from self-deception. Your an isolated false teacher who despises anyone who would call you out. Your are reckless, feckless, and wanton with your slander of others and your alliance with dubious movements and conspiracy groups–and you USE scripture like a cult leader.
You are a bad human being who brings discredit to the gospel by promising rain and delivering slander. You constantly condemn others as hell-bound, in direct contradiction to Jesus’ command. Furthermore, you slander (speak theories as if they were truth) bringing discredit to the gospel because nothing you say can be considered credible. I don’t know if you will be in heaven, but you are the only person I’ve dealt with during this traumatic period of my life (I’ve spoken directly with Dan Corner, Rev Howard Pittman, and many others) and you are the only one to be such an phony–not praying for me, not connecting me with anyone who could lay hands on me or talk with me, not recommending anyone who could provide a word of knowledge–in short–you know nothing except the FEMA trains are a-comin’ and everyone is demon possessed but you. Your are an awful human being–to think I almost committed suicide because of an abomination like you. I rebuke you for slander, pronouncing judgement, and lack of humility. Consider yourself marked.
Joshua Howard
Please forgive my harsh words. I’ve reevaluated the above, and it’s inaccurate to say I “almost” committed suicide. Indeed, I was discouraged, and was without tangible remedy despite calling out for real help–believing I had nothing to offer since I was lost and unforgiveable. Fortunately, dialog with several including you allowed me to maintain balance–despite the stated frustrations. Bottom line, if you would reach people with your blog, you must realize that people in need have many absolute soothsayers from which to pick across the full spectrum of beliefs. They can’t all be right, and we can’t cobble together truth from a rainbow of heretics. The way a seeker knows a true servant from a cult leader is the true servant leaves room for the seeker’s doubt, and acknowledges shortcomings and limited revelation. The false leader makes all who disagree appear as hell-bound–short-circuiting nascent discernment and placing the seeker in a terrible bind (believe them or else).
Jeff, I only ask that you speak in absolute terms only in areas that you KNOW (not just think you know) to be true. I think you will find that you know much less than you thought. This realization creates a blanket of honestly and allows for genuine, prayerful dialog. It also allows a seeker to ask the hard questions without wrongful characterizations. Bottom line, if I’m to figure out how to go to heaven, I don’t have enough years in life to weed through the strong-willed zealots. The real servant of God must ask God to make HIMSELF known, and help the dialog progress. No more “you must be going to hell” because you don’t like the corner I’ve put you in. Make sense?
For the last time, if you are a righteous man, and the prayers of a righteous man availeth much, will you genuinely pray for me and my family? We’re having real difficultly (spiritually, very rough time, and some medical problems for my wife). Thanks, Jeff. I’ll part company with you from this point forward.
Jeff Fenske
Joshua,
Thanks for writing. I wasn’t sure what to say other than I absolutely do forgive you. I was going to say that whether you apologized or not. I mean that.
And you absolutely are forgiveable.
Also, I’ve been honestly straight with you, throughout our many discussions, going way back to when you were referring to yourself as Father of Five (anyone can see what I did or did not say in these discussions). I gave you the best advice I knew, telling you especially what I would do, and have done. And if I would have gotten a prophecy for you I would have given it, but I don’t make things up. I have had some serious, in-depth prophecies for people, but it’s usually something that comes to me when I wasn’t even seeking it. And to tell you the truth, most of these people didn’t do what God said. And some of these, after hearing what I said, have prayed against me (James-3 cursed) me with a vengeance — which has the tendency to sour my stomach from even wanting to personal prophecy, except for people whom I know won’t turn on me.
It really saddens my heart that we could have, and should of had revival long ago had just this one former church leader done what God said. But at least I know the words I gave him were not made up and still stand up as being true to this day.
But my gifting is not personal counseling. I’ve never claimed to be one, nor do I seek this. I’m not a pastoral shepherd. I look at and think about what the church does as a whole and individuals for ONE to happen. That’s what I think about.
And at ToBeFree I look at general trends to see what is happening in the real world, to help people see, so they can get out and can help ONE to happen (Jesus’ prayer for us in John 17).
When I was at seminary (which I never finished), I didn’t take pastoral counseling classes. I took theology and church history classes, mainly. And I was considered a radical, because challenged the status quo, which was deadsville. It’s the seminary professors and the church leaders who are keeping real Christianity from happening.
I’m just going by what the Bible really says, what God has shown me personally, and what has been shown to be true through others experiences and through church history. I look at the whole thing.
You say that I’m not under the authority of the elders, but it’s the elders who are leading this ship aground. Paul said “follow me as I follow the Lord.” He didn’t expect people to submit to those who weren’t following God. The result of that is a dysfunctional family, which most churches are.
I was at one time very much submitted to elders, but I had to take a stand once I saw they weren’t submitted to God themselves, and they wouldn’t get right with those they hurt, and/or they protected, enabled and lied for the abusers. That’s why I still have integrity.
Though it’s been hard. The abusers try to turn everyone against me, through what they tell others and through their prayers (James-3 curses, which are very real). So I’ve mostly just let them do their thing, focusing instead on trying to put together the truths that will help ONE to happen on this site.
In thinking what to write here, I thought I should share this. I’m sure that I’ve mentioned the importance of forgiving others so we can be free, and I’ve mentioned praying in tongues, as well as the importance of not giving evil spirits a place, saying totally ‘no’ to sin, cold turkey, or the demons have a right….
Based upon what you said recently, I don’t think you understand that praying in tongues is mainly doing it, trusting God as a little child…. We only have to ask once, and then say with our tongues the words God gives us. I have an entire category on this subject. And I’m thinking that I should probably do a YouTube video on this someday, the sooner the better.
I don’t have a lot of support, really — and a whole lot of resistance. It’s hard to get things done. That’s what the Devil wants. It’s an uphill battle for all of us, until revival comes, then it will be really easy — but we can still fall even then, if we don’t stay in the flow. But it will be relatively easy, compared to now. Most people are in the Matrix, including almost every pastor. Very few people are free, and they’ll fight people who are trying to lead the way, and pray against those who should lead.
And I’m thinking in particular of a certain person whom I had a dream about in the ’80s, who was leading our church and everyone was happy. But the elders won’t even let him preach even one sermon. They hog the pulpit but have nothing from God to say — keeping revival from happening — the old guard, standing in the way.
This is my passion. How do we break through so love can reign?
Specifically, what I’d recommend to you, also something I’ve done myself, is this.
I’d recommend getting counseling from these guys: Wellspring Ministries, Anchorage, Alaska. And I’d recommend this to just about everyone. They’ve been listed on my site for probably a few years. And here is the founder talking forgiving to get free: Art Mathias on It’s Supernatural: Spiritual Roots of Disease — Healed Through Forgiving (If there is pain in a memory there is unforgiveness). The video no longer works, but it links to Sid’s site which has it.
Now I don’t remember if you’ve been among those who have given me a hard time about Sid Roth. Hopefully, not, but if so, please, there is a lot of truth in this message.
I went through at least 10 counseling sessions with a Wellspring-trained counselor, whom I no longer have contact info on. I think he moved to the lower 48. But I may be able to get his info if this won’t work out. But I don’t know if he’s even still counseling.
Many wonderful things happen during these forgiving prayers: Forgiving-Others, Freedom Prayer! I’m almost sure that I mentioned this to you before. The most interesting thing is how easy it is to hear God after almost every prayer. At least that was my experience, and I think is true of many, if we’re really open to hear. I typed out everything I heard. Dave, my counselor said I was the first to do so, but I would suggest this to everyone: record what you hear as an aid to remember and recall it later, if need be.
So you said you want to hear God. Perhaps this is the best way for you to do it.
You have made it well known that you have a hard time receiving from anyone you disagree with in even just one area. Do you think you could receive from and follow the directions of a counselor who isn’t perfect?
Wellspring is also a ‘church,’ which I actually tried to attend and closely relate to. And there is one post on this site in which I talk about what happened there, without mentioning who this was. That’s all I’ll say about that, other than most of what I’ve written about in referring to a ‘church’ in Anchorage is another one.
If this church wasn’t leading people astray I’d probably be still going there. But not all of the counselors on staff even attend there, and if they did they still might be skilled-to-help-you-and-others counselors.
The main thing is: are you teachable? Or will you just point the finger and run — and stay in your sin. How much are you willing to obey and be honest about your own sin? This is really vulnerable stuff. For that reason I recommend men to be counseled by men and women to be counseled by women; though, I’ve heard Art teach otherwise. It’s not just what we’ll say and pray. It’s what God says to us, which we’ll speak out loud after the forgiving prayers.
“Can you handle the truth?” — I think I just heard. And perhaps this is for others reading this too — because this counseling really gets to the heart of the matter.
I would look for this in a counselor: how capable are they in helping you get to the heart of what is causing your stuff? I would look for a counselor who can see. And God will then lead in the process by what He says to both you and the counselor.
You like to blameshift. Are you willing to forgive everyone and deal with your stuff, releasing ALL of those who have hurt you, forgiving them from your whole heart? This could be life for you, but you have to be straight with the counselor and with God.
And this doesn’t just happen through one prayer and one session. It will require many. And this could be expensive too. But “what do you have to lose?” How better could you spend your money? Or maybe the military will even pay for it?
If you do this, please let me know how it goes. And if you need to change counselors because they somehow are having trouble getting to the heart of your stuff, do so, but if they’re getting to the heart of your stuff, that’s what you want, right?
Please don’t try to psychoanalyze them. You are the one who is suppose to be psychoanalyzed. You are on the hot seat, not them.
Be a lover of the truth, and the truth will set you free. And then maybe you’ll be able to see for miles and miles, the song I’m currently listening to.
This counseling, done properly, should get to the truth, the source of your stuff. Do you really want to know and do what it takes to get free, or will you run when it gets hard?
And I’m not just saying this to you, but perhaps others who are reading this too.
Again, I really recommend being counseled by a guy, and women to be counseled by women. You don’t want anything to keep this from working.
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Jeff
