VIDEO: The Asbury Revival

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qOqitIKUNs]A Revival Account: Asbury 1970

“The 1970 revival at Asbury College will go down in history as one of the greatest supernatural events of the last half of the 20th century. Millions of people across the United States and the world were impacted by it. This simple video does a wonderful job of conveying something of the outpouring’s heart and power. Everyone we have ever shown this to have an immediate impartation of faith for revival and the power of prayer. What God did once at this campus, we believe He will do again on every campus where a group of students will open their hearts to Him.”

What is true Revival and Spiritual Awakening? Discover the answer in this eyewitness account by Dennis Kinlaw, President of Asbury College, Wilmore, Kentucky, who recounts the story of a visitation of the Holy Spirit in 1970. If you are a student who longs to see a spiritual awakening at your school, you must see this video!

This is the presentation that has continued to spark the flames of Revival in the hearts of people around the world. Contains eyewitness footage from the Revival at Asbury College in 1970 in Wilmore, Kentucky. Certain to challenge you to greater holiness and a deeper commitment to full-scale revival. Original news and private footage has been included.

WILMORE, Kentucky — One morning in 1970, without warning, all heaven broke loose during Asbury College’s 10 a.m. chapel service.

“When you walked into the back of Hughes Auditorium … there was a kind of an aura, kind of a glow about the chapel,” said Dr. David Hunt, a Louisville physician who was then a student.

“I always have been reminded of the verse ‘Take off your shoes, for you are standing on holy ground.’ You just walked in and sensed that God had indeed sent His Spirit.”

The service, a routine meeting, was scheduled for 50 minutes. Instead, it lasted 185 hours non-stop, 24 hours a day. Intermittently, it continued for weeks. Ultimately, it spread across the United States and into foreign countries. Some say it is being felt even today.

2010 will mark the 40th anniversary of the landmark 1970 Asbury College revival, an unplanned, unled display of fervor that has been compared to the Great Awakenings of 1740 and 1800. This year will also mark the 60th anniversary of a strikingly similar revival Asbury experienced in 1950.

A bigger outbreak — a global revival, in fact — will begin soon, says David McKenna, president of adjacent Asbury Theological Seminary, in his new book, The Coming Great Awakening.

The revival might not start at Asbury, but it probably will begin on campuses, says McKenna, a noted author. He travels to many colleges and says, “I see the signs wherever I go.”

Those signs include a generation of students wounded by family breakdowns and searching for spiritual fulfillment. Much of the coming revival will be a delayed reaction, McKenna thinks, to what happened at Asbury College 20 years ago.

I don’t anticipate the Third Great Awakening starting at a Bible school unless they stop teaching once-saved-always-saved. There is too much fear of man and fear of losing face for the leaders to repent unless they realize they have to in order to be real, going-to-heaven Christians.
But once the revival starts, everyone will be so full of joy in Christ that they’ll wonder why they waited so long.

Thank you for the information on the Asbury revival of 1970. I agree that what is going on with Todd Bentley is not Christian and not a revival.
I also think Sid Roth is of the devil and so is his guest. I’m starting to not like this site. Yes, it has some good information. But most of this is demonic and just pure sensationalism and titillation and emotionalism.
We need more reasonableness and sound doctrine and less of this stuff.
The Bible saves. This is all just evil. Sid Roth is pure evil. Can’t you just see it? And same with his guest. Sid Roth is just another John Haggee, ‘let us glorify the Jews and Israel, they can do no wrong’ — when in actuality the Bible tells us to beware the Synagogue of Satan. We can see what they do — the murder and torture, how they have infiltrated the USA and use the people of America to pay for and fight their world conquest and achieve the final NWO tyranny and installation of their false antichrist, which will then chase down and kill the Christians and rule the world with a “rod of iron.” Nothing like watching Christians dig their own grave to give Satan a thrill of joy.
Sid Roth is dripping evil. So creepy. His voice sounds like a ghoul from the grave. A slickster for Satan.

    • Jeff Fenske

      Post-tribber,
You’re making it harder for me to answer this one.
By “this site,” you’re talking Sid Roth’s site, right, because I don’t think anyone could accuse me of that.
I mostly agree with you in what you state in your Synagogue of Satan paragraph. The ‘church’ really is digging its own grave. We need to stand up to tyranny instead of outright support it.
I have said many times that I believe our military is being co-opted by the powers that be to take out countries that oppose the NWO.
I don’t think Israel is directly running our government, though, like some suggest. I think there are evil powers running Israel just as there are evil powers running America, and I think they’re working together. And it’s pretty clear that our CIA and their Mossad are largely up to no good and working together.
As far as the Jewish people themselves, both in Israel and in the US. A hotel clerk in Jerusalem told me that she thinks many of the Jews believe (but won’t admit it out loud) that they may have been wrong in rejecting Jesus as being the Messiah. I think it’s likely that this guilt is part of what seems to drive them more than most nationalities into things that they hope will make them feel better, but really doesn’t.
I discovered this, for example: Israel, the highest rate of prostitution in the world (CNN) | One million visits made by clients every month to brothels in Israel (population 7 million) | “For this we yearned?”
What happens when a people have a public campaign to not forgive, to always remember? Israel is an abusive state in so many ways. I cover this at ToBeFree. If one Israeli is killed, they’ll kill 100. But America isn’t much different. Most of the people in Afghanistan and Iraq didn’t do anything to us, but we’ve just slaughtered them. And much of it is done by drones.
We’re becoming like Israel. Strike first and think about it later. They’re into hate and retaliation, and so many Americans are into hate and retaliation; though, even when those planes couldn’t have taken down those towers. That was an inside job, but many ‘Christians’ won’t even research the evidence, which is now more like proof.
Israel is abusive and the US is now abusive. The world hates us, especially because we say we’re Christians and then do whatever we feel like to other people groups who are also made in God’s image.
We’re disgusting, when we look at what our corporations, our CIA and our military have done.
Israel is abusive; we’re abusive, and the ‘Christians’ are key enablers who support both evil regimes no matter what.
This is evil. It’s amazing what ‘Christians’ will do when they’re led to be afraid. And this is probably a major reason why Israelis lash out too. Fear:

      How the Illuminati Manipulates Jews

      …as well as pride:

Sarah Palin demonstrates why most evangelicals dissed Ron Paul, who wanted to bring the troops home. ‘Christians’ have two sets of books: one for US and one for THEM (“who don’t deserve rights”). THEY’re not our ‘neighbor’ whom Jesus commanded US to love as much as ourselves. Maybe that’s why most evangelicals refuse to investigate 9/11. If THEY didn’t take down the towers…???

      Regarding Sid Roth:
I have to mostly disagree with you. From what I’ve seen, anyway, he is completely different than the power-over John Hagee. Sid is a sweet, gentle guy who wants to see real Christianity happen. He also wants to see Jew and Gentile united as one, realizing that will take conversion on the Jews’ part.
Some of his guests are mostly fluff, but I find maybe one out of three to be very interesting. I only watch the shows that seem interesting.
I think Sid is a peacemaker, while Hagee is more of a brawler.
That doesn’t mean that Sid is doing everything right, but I think people can learn a lot about God and the kingdom by selectively watching shows.
Sid loves people and wants them to do well in Christ, both Jew and Gentile. I think Sid is a good example of what Christian is supposed to be. And he talks about the necessity for holiness at times too. For example:

Sid Roth: GOING to a CHURCH might be a BIG PLACEBO — “This is ETERNAL LIFE: that you might KNOW HIM”

“You know very few ‘Christians’ have intimacy with God — very few. Most ‘Christians’ are just plain religious.

And I don’t want to get into theology, but I am not even sure whetherjust being religious, just going to church has much to do with going to heaven. I think it might be a big placebo. …

‘This is eternal life: that you might know Him‘ — ‘know Him.’”

      – Sid Roth

      I like Sid.
      Jeff

  2. post-tribber

Jeff, I don’t know why you love Sid Roth. He’s one of those “Israel is chosen, the apple of God’s eye” people.
Do you believe that? Do you think the Jews are the apple of God’s eye? That they are going to be the exalted ones in the Millenium, and we ordinary Christians are going to be the shoeshine boys there?
You really think that the Jews have an everlasting covenant with God to kill and steal the “Promised Land?” You don’t remember some scriptures that Jesus said the kingdom was taken away from them (the Jews) and given to “another nation?”
Just because scripture predicts in the last day that the Jews will run Jerusalem (and the gentiles will trample it), does not mean God is blessing this violent and disgusting takeover and takeaway of the Ashkenazi Jews. There are a lot of things predicted in the Bible, and that does not mean God is blessing the ones who do the evil things predicted.
Making psychological excuses for the poor Jews (ie that they feel guilty for hating and killing Jesus, poor things, so that’s why they fornicate and abort and all that) — that is disgusting.
Sid Roth is a NWO tool to get people kissing up to the Jews, to inspire the “Jews can do no wrong” kind of thinking, when in reality Jews can do all kinds of wrong, and the ARE doing all kinds of wrong, and we should have nothing to do with the evil things they do, their Hollywood, their Federal Reserve Bankster Heist, their evil wars where they fund both sides and laugh while they stuff their vaults with more gold and keep buying up the assets of the world until they own every blade of grass and then they STILL won’t be satisfied.
And what about the media? They own THAT too. You like people programming your midn with lies and propaganda? You like having books to read that are only approved by them, the Zionists? Now that we have the Internet, we have a chance to find the truth. Take advantage of it.
Listen to Texe Marrs. You want the truth? He’ll tell you the truth about the Jews.
Just wake up. The Bible tells us that in the last days they will be hauling us off into prisons and killing us. The Bible says they are the SYnaagogue of Satan. There is more righteousness and even more semitic DNA in the little finger of any Palestinian or Arab man or woman than all the Jews in Jerusalem.
Sid Roth. Get some discernment. He’s a Rothschild agent, just like Scofield was one and anybody who is “big” in “their” Megachurch media is an agent. The real Christian broadcasters are on the internet or short wave, not on the megachurch airwaves like Sid Roth has been for 35 years preaching about the Apple of God’s Eye Big Lie.
Listen to Texe Marrs message this week, the ones who believe and follow Sid Roth and people like him, the Dominionists, the ones who believe that Yes we DO have a continuing city, Jerusalem over there in IsraHELL is our continuing city — you are going to end up in Hell for promoting and believing that stuff. You refuse the Heavenly Jerusalem we are seeking and are hung up on the Jews and the infernal NWO and hate Jesus, you’ll get yoru dream. Go ahead and help them build their kingdom. This is Satan’s world, so go have at it, join up with Satan.

    • Jeff Fenske

      Post-tribber,
      I don’t see us being shoe-shine boys:

Gal. 3:26 For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to promise.

But we need to be careful with our attitude towards everyone or we’ll be screaming our lungs out in hell.
But Paul here is talking only about real Christians here.
      You said:

“There are a lot of things predicted in the Bible, and that does not mean God is blessing the ones who do the evil things predicted.”

I have said many times on this site that just because God says things will happen doesn’t mean it’s His will. Although I’ve been to Israel twice, many years ago, I’m not fixated on it. I’ve visited many other countries too, having worked for an airline for more than 30 years. I don’t fly much anymore though. I’ve gone to places to check things out. And for Israel, I also wanted to understand more fully the geography of the land. I visited Greece too.
What I’m interested in is mainly what I put on these sites. I don’t research and talk much about interpreting Revelation beyond chapter 3. I’m interested in the here and now and what we are to do now. And we’re definitely not supposed to enable abusers, which is basically what the ‘church’ has been doing to Israel.
Not all Jews are abusive though. I lived with a Jewish family when I went to seminary the second time and it was a great experience.
And even if certain Jews really are our enemy, we’re commanded to love them, just like Jesus did — just like Stephen did — forgiving them from his whole heart as they killed him with stones.
I think Sid Roth has such a heart. Whether he is covering up their evil, enabling them, I don’t know. The title of the show is “It’s Supernatural.”It’s obvious that Sid is hungry to see God move among His people the way He did in Acts and in many other times. Perhaps you don’t appreciate this because of your questions of even what the role of the Holy Spirit is, based upon what you said in comment in the other post. But this is God’s will for us to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Sid also talks about uniting Jew and Gentile, which is clearly God’s will. But he’s not like Hagee who thinks we just act like their Christians when they’re not. Having a heart to evangelize Jews is a good thing. And I don’t feel like Sid is elevating them more than non-Jews. I really don’t. He’s speaking to all of us when he’s trying to encourage us to go deeper into God. Sid is hungry to help get real Christianity going. “Then the world will know.” Then the Jews will know!
Texe has a negative (maybe even smear) campaign going. I don’t think it’s healthy. People need to expose what’s going on, but we need to be really careful. And I don’t know if Texe’s 24/7 smile is genuine, especially in how he treats certain people.
I said in the other post how I did listen to Texe’s message, and could hardly get through it — which is why it took me so long to repond. I think it’s good to learn facts from Texe, but he isn’t at all on the same level as Sid in trying to bring people into the real kingdom of God living.
I really like Sid. I feel like a spiritual brother with him. We’re both wanting the same thing — what Jesus prayed we would be in John 17.
Texe, on the other hand, I see him more as doing his own thing apart from the Holy Spirit. I think he’s on a dangerous road; though, he sounds real smooth and totally confident.
I don’t think Texe is the man to lead people into the real kingdom of God, but he’s good at exposing the Illuminati. Texe could learn a lot of things from Sid. And Sid could probably learn significant things from Texe too.
It would be nice to see us all on the same page someday.
      jeff

  3. post-tribber

There’s a website called “Ask the Rabbi” and somebody asked about 666, and the rabbi said 666 was “Messianic.”
    There you have it.
Jesus told the pharisees they would not accept him, Jesus, who comes in another’s name, but they would accept someone else who would come after him who comes in his own name.
This is the antichrist, you know. We aren’t supposed to have anything to do with that, period, end of story.
Texe is not the one caught up in this world and building a utopian kingdom in this world. Texe has his eyes fastened on Heaven.
People who condemn those who stand for righteousness — well, that’s just plain wrong. I will bet you Sid Roth is dripping in money, lives in a big fancy house, and probably owns more than one home.
Sid also promotes the teaching that the Jews are the “apple of God’s eye,” and that is even, or used to be, the theme to introduce his program, “They will prosper who love thee.”
    Bless me, I’m Jewish —
All these Jews who have died through the centuries went to Hell. The ones who are alive now, there will be a remnant who will be saved.
We all get saved the same way — by faith and by the blood of Jesus. Nobody goes to Heaven because of their DNA. Most modern Jews don’t even have any Abrahamic DNA, but are converts from 800 AD. Is Sid Roth that kind of a Jew? If so, what is he so proud about.

    • Jeff Fenske

      Post-tribber,
I’ve watched a lot of Sid’s programs, and I’ve never heard Sid say anything like “Bless me, I’m Jewish.”
Sid has Jesus’ heart for the Jews, do you? Do you love the Jews as much as you love yourself, the way we should be loving everyone, Jews or not. This is the second greatest commandment.
Without love we’re like a clanging gong and cymbal.
      Where is your heart?
Doing the two greatest commandments is Christianity. If we’re not living in love we’re not real Christians.
      jeff

  4. post-tribber

Well, Jesus called them a Den of Vipers and said their father was the devil.
And if Sid Roth doesn’t say “Bless me I’m Jewish” in those words, he definitely says that in other words.
And he preaches the message, if you bless the Jews you will get blessed. If you curse them, God will curse you. God spoke those words to Abraham regrding Abraham and only Abraham — not these murdering Ashkenazi Jews who have taken over the world by stealth and intrigue and murder and bribery and who now claim Jerusalem as their city to rule their world empire. Read your Bible. The antichrist and his minions will chase down all the Christians and kill us — cut our heads off. The antichrist will try to get us to renounce Jesus and worship him instead.
People like Sid Roth have already partly gotten Christians to renounce Jesus, by claiming his name is evil, that we should give him a new name the Jews approve of.
If you really loved the Jews, you would tell them to knock if off and get saved, and to get over themselves, that they are not little mini-gods and collectively God on Earth, which is what they believe. They think they are collectively God on this earth, and many Christians also believe that yes, the Jews are the root and we are the branches.
Uh-uh. Jesus is the root, and Christians are the branches, and the unbelieving Jews are broken off branches.
Maybe people think if they kiss up to the Jews that the devil will bless them, give them money and power and fame. It’s not worth it. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul. Michael Jackson had it all, and look how miserable he was having to rub shoulders with the scum of the earth.
The Bible says it’s better to be poor and live with simple folk who are good and humble, than to be rich and live with liars and thieves and murderers and perverts.

    • Jeff Fenske

      Post-tribber,
I do think Sid is out of balance in this whole Jewish thing. I’ve talked about how it’s wrong to enable the abusers. Sid is helping to keep the dysfunctional family dysfunctional. We’ll only be a family when we’re one in Christ.
I also think the Hebrew roots movement is mostly unbiblical. And having to call Jesus Yeshua???
What I really like about Sid though is he is very much into being led by the Holy Spirit, whereas most of the Hebrew roots people seem to be de-emphasizing the Spirit and re-emphasizing the law, which is pretty weird and very unbiblical, reverse-Christian even — a doctrine of demons.
Sid isn’t balanced, but he also isn’t called by God be a hammer.
Texe is a hammer, and if Texe was more led by the Holy Spirit and really walked in love more he’d be more effective and a lot more enjoyable to listen to.
Jesus was balanced. He cried for Jerusalem, while He told them the truth about their sin and who their father really was. And He forgave them from His whole heart as they crucified and mocked Him to death.
I think Texe is basically dissing the Jews. He’s not reaching out to them. He seems to be cold-hearted toward them, and you seem to be learning this from him.
This is evil and way out of line.
Sid loves people. I don’t think you appreciate that about him.
      jeff

  5. post-tribber

Texe never talks mean about the Jews the way Jesus did. I guess Jesus was a bad guy?
Texe just speaks the truth. It’s not Texe’s fault for the way things are. Texe’s spirit is just fine — he is kind and friendly and jovial.
Listen to Nathanal Kapner. Now that guy is brutal. Just brutal.
The truth stands on its own.
You choose to listen to a liar and heretic because you say he “has the holy spirit.” The Bible says the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth. So are you sure it is the HOLY spirit you recognize in Sid Roth?
If somebody is telling the truth, which Texe is telling the truth, in specific and footnoted and documented detail — they are doing God’s will. Texe is also risking his life, and has shut himself off from the Zionist publishers. His first books were best sellers, and he had to give up his 501C3 and to be able to publish books by the big publishing houses so that he could speak the truth. So he broadcasts on the Internet and short wave and self-publishes.
I will bet you that Sid Roth is a multi-gazillionaire. He is definitely doing the work of the Zionists. Many good Christians got side-tracked into the Yeshua or Yashua or Yahshua or Jesu or whatever movement. Sid Roth is one of the main ones that INVENTED that whole evil movement.
All that is spiritual or supernatural is not of God, and that is the big mistake the Catholics make and I perceive you are taken in by the same thing. The devil can do miracles and is eager to demonstrate supernatural stuff to validate his lies and his objectives. You call this the Holy Spirit. Jesus said only an evil generation requires a sign.
This generation is definitely evil — looking for pixie dust and ectoplasm and all the rest of that stuff to feel spiritual, and using these experiences amongst each other to elevate themselves as to their supposed spirituality. If you have had a big vision or dream or whatever, get up on the stage and be a star. Everybody wants to be a star, a religion star in the religious theater of today’s world.
And on Judgment Day Jesus said there would be a whole bunch of people claiming to have done all kinds of miracles, casting out devils and such, in Jesus name, and Jesus will cast them into Hell anyway and say, I never knew you, workers of iniquity.
Holiness and purity and humility and truth is what god wants. The old testament says, “to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.”
Not all this competition to see who has the biggest miracle or supernatural experience or who can shock or titillate or excite a crowd the most.

    • Jeff Fenske

      Post-tribber,
Like I said before, I only consider about 1 of every 3 shows to be really good. But they really are; though, you don’t think so because you think it’s possible to have two ‘Pentecosts;’ though, Peter said it the way it is, which you don’t seem to care about. That’s your right, but you have no idea of how careful I am to accuse me the way you do.
And you quote: “to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.” I had just been thinking of how how Jesus said “blessed are the merciful,” and how you aren’t demonstrating this at all.
Jesus said “first take the plank out of your own eye so you can see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”
      jeff

  6. post-tribber

I’m not looking to take a speck out of Sid Roth’s eye.
I am looking to confront soul-damning heresies by a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

    • Jeff Fenske

      Post-tribber,
You interpret Sid through your eyes that are jaundiced because of the big plank in your eye.
      jeff

  7. post-tribber

Actually the Bible calls them “ravenous” wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Salivating, anticipating the kill and looking forward to the taste of blood and death, focused like a lazer, lurking and skulking, its desire pinpointed in finding the sheep and ripping out their belly and eating them alive.
Sending them to Hell, which is worse than being eaten alive by a wolf. Spiritual death, as Jesus said, is what we must fear the most, beyond anything else. Jesus said not to fear anything that men can do to us, but to fear God who can (and will) cast us into Hell when we believe and follow after the lies and heresies of Sid Roth.

  8. post-tribber

Jesus taught the parable of the Sower, three times I believe, in 3 separate gospels, which means it is an extremely important lesson that we should pay special attention to.
Jesus also taught that most people will go to Hell, that the path to Hell is broad and easy and “many that go in thereat.”
The first three examples of the parable of the sower are of people who do not go to Heaven, and only the fourth example goes to Heaven.
The first example to miss out on Heaven were people who had the Word stolen away from their heart by LIES OF THE DEVIL.
The Bible says outside Heaven’s gates are ALL LIARS.
The Bible refers to Damnable Heresies.
Sid Roth is the originator of many of the damnable heresies that have castrated and corrupted the modern Christian church, so-called. That’s not mean. That’s just the truth. Paul and Peter and Jude and James contended for the faith, and condemned the Judaizers, and the Bible commands us to do the same.

    • Jeff Fenske

      Post-tribber,
First, get rid of the plank in your own eye so you can see clearly to remove the speck….
Which of Paul’s lists are you in?
      Gal. 5:13-6:10

13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another. 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. 26 Let’s not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another. …

6:7 Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

      Jeff

  9. post-tribber

The fact remains that you have accused both me and Texe Marrs of not having the Holy Spirit for no other reason than opposing the heresies and Judaizing of Sid Roth, who you admit he’s a heretic, but you don’t care because you say he “cares” and he is a great leader and teacher on the Holy Spirit.
If I were leading people off the cliff like Sid Roth is and has done for close to 40 years, I’d be thanking God for anybody who counteracted any of the heresies and rescued anybody from the effects.
The Bible says it is better to have a millstone tied around your neck and be thrown into the ocean than to offend (ie corrupt or stumble) a little one (a believer).
You are on the wrong end of this discussion. The farther we go, the deeper the hole you are digging.
