Jesus prayed we'd be 'ONE' with each other in Him that the world will know! (John 17)

Mockers

According to the Bible, there are at least two types of mockers and neither is properly defined in a secular dictionary. For example the typical definition of a mocker is:

To treat with ridicule or contempt; deride. To mimic, as in sport or derision. See Synonyms at ridicule. (Free Online Dictionary)

The Mocker In Galatians

The mocker in the Book of Galatians attempts to mock God! He tries to mock God by thinking he will reap eternal life, instead of destruction, even though he is sowing to please his sinful nature:

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Gal 6:7-9)

Gal. 6:8,9 is a salvation passage few know about and it clearly reveals the once saved always saved proponents as mockers!  Such people actually think they can commit adultery, lie, steal, get drunk, swindle, etc. and still reap eternal life in the end because they were once saved. ALL eternal security advocates indirectly state this when they describe their twisted version of the sin unto death. As bad as it is to be the type of mocker described in Proverbs, the attempted God mocker seems to be worse and in our day is directly linked to the false gospel of eternal security and those deceived by it.

If a person could do all of those things ……then are they “TRULY” saved? The answer is no! “For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ”. Jud_1:4. But the word also says in Eph 4:30 “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption”. Once you are “TRULY SAVED” a person is sealed with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The misuse of grace is addressed by Paul; “What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.” Rom_6:15
