Jesus prayed we'd be 'ONE' with each other in Him that the world will know! (John 17)

Modern preachers' unprecedented accomplishment: making Christ appear dull

“Someone has said that modern preachers have been able to do what the church has not been able to do for 2,000 years — make Christ appear dull.”

A dull Christ leaves people void of assurance and left in a world of wondering, and double mindedness. It comes from preachers who do not even know the resurrected Christ.

    • I would say this lovey dovey version of Christ that is taught today gives many the false insurance that they don’t have to overcome sin to abide in Christ, so most people just ignore Christ and become like the world instead.
Many of the preachers may have once known Christ, but certainly aren’t led by the Holy Spirit now, or they’d act accordingly and would teach the truth, and we’d have real Christianity where the glory of God would be manifest, and people would be in awe, whether they attend church or not.
When ‘ONE’ happens, Jesus said, “the world will know” (John 17).
That’s Jesus’ prayer, for us to be ‘ONE’ with each other in Him “that the world will know.”
      That should be our goal.
