“If you are not like Jesus then you are not following Him and you are only fooling yourself, you will not enter Heaven. Believing in Jesus cannot save you if you do not follow and obey Him.”

Marc
Absolutely correct. John 3:36 says it clearly, but the translation in the KJV is not clear:
“He that believeth (G4100) on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth (G544) not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36 KJV)
The second word “believeth” is not the same greek word as the first one, The greek word ἀπειθέω G544 means:
…not believe, disobedient, obey not, unbelieving.
So the whole verse must read:
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that obey not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)
Other Bible versions like the French Darby version or the Indonesian ITB version, or the Italian NR version have “obey not”.

I completely agree, Marc, and have these posts on what you are saying:
JOHN 3:16: Greek word for ‘BELIEVE’ also means OBEY
Why is apeitheo in John 3:36 translated “not obey” in some versions and “not believe” in others? — Teachers claim that faith and obedience are separate, but God sees things differently • Belief cannot be separated from obedience
I also talk about this in:
Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God? — “There is therefore now *no condemnation* to those who are IN CHRIST Jesus, who don’t WALK according to the flesh, but ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT”
God bless!
Jeff 🙂
