Jesus warned us in Matthew 5 in the strongest language that if we look at a woman to lust for her we’re committing adultery with her in our hearts. So He said we need to do whatever we have to control our eyes and our “right hand” so our whole bodies will not be thrown into hell when we die.
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery’ [old covenant].But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand [masturbation] causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. (Mt. 5:27-31)
Gal. 5:13-6:10
13 For you, brothers [born-again believers], were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another. 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. [compare to Rom. 8:4]
19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. …
6:7 Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
1 Corinthians 6
9 Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.
Ephesians 5
2 Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
3 But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints; 4 nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks.
5 Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. 7 Therefore don’t be partakers with them. 8 For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, 9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, 10 proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. 11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
Revelation 21:
5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” 6 Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. 7 “He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.
8 “But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons [πόρνος pornos – sexually immoral] and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Revelation 22:
12 “Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 Blessed are those who do his commandments [Jesus’ greatest two], that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
Almost all pastors today teach the FALSE DOCTRINE of “once saved always saved,” “only believe,” or “it’s hard to lose one’s salvation, which is refuted by 90 New Testament verses. One is Romans 8. Paul says we must actually abide in Christ to be “in Christ,” “walking not according to the flesh, but according to the Holy Spirit” in order to have “no condemnation.”
Then we’ll have faith to enter heaven when Jesus judges us face to FACE.
The guilt we feel now will become DREAD then if we ignored the Holy Spirit’s warnings while we had the chance to repent!
Paul then warns in Romans 11:
20 ..Don’t be conceited, but FEAR; 21 for if God didn’t spare the natural branches [the truly ethnic Jews], neither will he spare you. 22 See then the GOODNESS and SEVERITY of God. Toward those who fell, SEVERITY; but toward you, GOODNESS, IF YOU CONTINUE in his GOODNESS; OTHERWISE YOU WILL ALSO BE CUT OFF [like in Mt. 7:19 and John 15:6 | Rev. 3: Sardis – removed from the book of life and Laodicea – spit out of Jesus’ mouth. Highly mineralized water was undrinkable when ‘lukewarm’]
Paul feared being disqualified himself: “I beat my body and bring it into submission lest I myself should be rejected.” So he ran his race to win, making sure his conscience was always clear before God and men:
We need to be able to say what Paul ALWAYS made sure he could:
“..I also practice ALWAYS having a CONSCIENCE VOID OF OFFENSE toward God and MEN.” – Acts 24:16
