Rick Joyner: “REPENTANCE includes RESTITUTION for the wrongs that have caused injury to others”

From Rick Joyner’s Facebook page

“Repentance is more than requesting forgiveness for our wrongs. Repentance is going back to where we missed the turn and getting back on the right road. It also often includes restitution for the wrongs that have caused injury to others.”

Effects of the WELSH REVIVAL 1904-05: Whole communities were radically changed FROM DEPRAVITY TO GLORIOUS GOODNESS. The CRIME RATE dropped, often to nothing. THE POLICE had little more to do than supervise the coming and going of the people to the chapel prayer meetings. THE UNDERGROUND MINES echoed with the sounds of PRAYER and HYMNS, instead of nasty jokes and gossip. People who had fallen out BECAME FRIENDS AGAIN!!!!!!!

What if there is no restitution for what we’ve done? Like abortion or fornication? All we can do in those instances is turn from our sin and warn others about the pitfall, right?

    • Beth,

Yes, there are definitely types of sins that could not be apologized for.

The main thing is to have a pure heart, “no condemnation,” as we walk according to the Spirit, not according to the flesh (Romans 8:1). The Holy Spirit will help lead us into all truth (John 16:13). God will help us know who to apologize to and when.

If we feel guilty, because we know we should apologize to someone and keep putting it off, that’s the Holy Spirit telling us to reconcile, and to not put it off. The sooner we are clean the sooner we are FREE, and also ready to go to heaven if we would die.

Reconciliation is also the key to revival. This is so cool!:
