Someone needs to say something. Serious false doctrine is being taught at my home church in Anchorage. And in this message, Mark says he’s making Anchorage his home base from which to spread this false gospel that is keeping ‘ONE’ from happening — Jesus’ heart-CRY for us in John 17 — “that the world will know.”
Please be Biblical so God can move?

When Mark Drake says to ignore what Jesus clearly said about overcoming in Revelation 2 and 3, this is THE SPIRITUAL AVALANCHE Steve Hill is talking about. Mark Drake is snowing the people with Steve Hill’s Lies #2,3 & 5. Look especially at Lie #5:
The challenging of God’s authority goes back to the Garden of Eden, starting with the serpent’s challenge to Eve: “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” (Gen. 3:1). This satanic challenge was twofold: First, did God really say that? And second, God didn’t really mean what He said. After all, you won’t die if you eat from the tree (vv. 1-5).
On May 5, 2013 at Abbott Loop Community Church, Mark Drake taught “Living Set Free: Galatians 3”. The podcast is available here. I transcribed this, starting at minute-45:
Be careful when you read the first few chapters of the book of Revelation, where it repeatedly says: ‘to him who overcomes will I do this,’ and’ to him who overcomes will I do that,’ because the temptation of the Devil is: ‘well you’re not overcoming everything yet, so you don’t get that.’
Well, I’ve got good news for you: there is an Overcomer Who has overcome, and if you’ve received Him by faith His overcomingness lives in you. I’m an overcomer because the Overcoming One lives in me.
Paul says the law has been fulfilled. Jesus fulfilled it. And if He fulfilled it and He lives in you the law has *already been fulfilled* in you. The righteous demands of the law were fulfilled by Jesus.
And because He is in me and I am in Him. [unintelligible] sitting around the dinner table at the last supper — ‘if you abide in Me and I abide in You’ —
I am in Him and He’s in me — whatever He’s accomplished I get the benefit of….
But what did Jesus really say while “sitting around the dinner table at the last supper?” Jesus said: Only those who “keep My commandments“ will “remain in My love,” and they’ll bear much fruit. Those who don’t will be thrown into the fire and burned.
Abiding in Christ requires obedience. We must overcome!
Jesus in John 15:
4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. 5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If a man doesn’t remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. 8 “In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples. 9 Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and remain in his love. 11 I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE MADE FULL. 12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.
Jesus really did say we must overcome in Revelation 2 and 3.
Revelation 3
1 “And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things: “I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up, and keep the things that remain, which you were about to throw away, for I have found no works of yours perfected before…God. 3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If therefore you won’t watch, I will come as a thief, and you won’t know what hour I will come upon you. 4 Nevertheless you have a few names in Sardis that did not defile their garments. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who OVERCOMES will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

I cover more of Jesus’ overcoming-required statements in Revelation in the first article, linked below.
And what Paul really said about who goes to heaven in Galatians is also shown, along with many other examples.

“Abbott Loop has apparently joined the once-saved-always-saved camp.” Mark Drake does not believe in “once-saved-always-saved.” You took a portion of a podcast and twisted it to mean exactly the opposite. I know Mark (and Josh Tanner the senior pastor) very, very well, and their teaching about eternal security. Have you ever talked to Mark about this? You should take this off of the internet. You are slandering not only Mark, but Abbott Loop Community Church as well, Jeff. This is an unfair, lie that you have posted which could stumble believers as well as unbelievers. Do you want that on your head? You are flat out wrong on this and should write an apology or take it off. This kind of idiocy does not show love or grow the Kingdom. My husband and I talked to you in the parking lot at ALCC when you were making these claims to anyone who would listen. We explained how you are wrong about this, encouraged you to talk to Mark and yet you leave this untruthful post that anyone searching for a good bible teaching church such as ALCC is likely to stumble upon.
You are also lying to say ALCC is your home church. Maybe you could have claimed that back in the 80’s but certainly not in the last decade or even 2 decades.
I hope my comments will be enough to encourage anyone reading this to think twice about believing what you write.

Jeff, It seems to me that correct doctrine is something you seem to greatly value. Maybe you should start in Matthew 18:15-17. It seems that your working theology of “conflict resolution” needs some work.

Paul RECONCILED. He worked out his own salvation through fear and TREMBLING*, running his race to win, making sure he was “always” right with God and people:
* ‘Trembling’: the ‘fear of the Lord’ isn’t just ‘reverence’ — which most pastors perilously teach today.
Paul in Romans 11:20-22 ..Don’t be conceited, but FEAR; for if God didn’t spare the natural branches [the Jews], neither will he spare you. See then the GOODNESS *and* SEVERITY of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, IF YOU CONTINUE in his goodness; OTHERWISE YOU WILL ALSO BE CUT OFF [like in Mt. 7:19 and John 15:6].
“Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment” (James 3:1), and there aren’t any judgments in heaven.
