I’ve been dragging my feet on this update, because of the second topic. But first:
Cargo’s Last Stand
(Click on photo to see larger)
I’m finally almost finished with my Cargo’s Last Stand photo project at what is supposed to be my personal blog: jefffenske.com. I still have a bunch of Red Wall photos to post, and then I’ll be mostly done. I’d like to post more personal updates there if I can figure out how to tell those just interested in seeing the photos how they can access just them.
On all three of my sites, I have categories listed on the top/right of each page. And at jefffenske.com, I have a Cargo’s Last Stand category, but I don’t think many people access this feature.
About 300 photos are posted, some taking up to 3 hours to process. Here is a good example: Captain’s View. I’m a stickler on getting the colors right, and so many of these photos have a mixture of natural and artificial lights. And the mercury vapor outside lights, and those in our warehouse paint everything in various shades of yellow. And I’m finally understanding how to compensate for fluorescent lighting. But when there are two types of lighting it’s often a tough compromise.
I realize that most people’s monitors don’t accurately show color, but at least I can try to get the source photos right. And I’m learning a ton about so many aspects of processing photos!
I’m the opposite of a “quick, get ‘er done” person — too precise to work in volume, efficiently — when makes me more suited for fine-art photography (my dream job) and technical analysis, which I do in my Bible studies, etc.
Cargo’s Last Stand has been also wonderful in that it feels really good to see coworkers being blessed! And The Red Wall photos will be the icing on the cake. Only one is up so far (right now on the main page). Lots, lots more to come.
On Being Single All of My Life
This is what I’ve been mainly dragging my feet on. About a month ago, I felt like God was prompting me to share more about this d-i-f-f-i-c-u-l-t subject. There are probably people wondering ‘what’s up?’ I’ve shared some things, but mostly in comments that most will never read. I think this will help people understand more of where I’m coming from.
When I was in high school (graduated in ’75), I just knew it was a big deal to God to not have sex outside of marriage. So since I’ve never gotten married I’ve never done this tabboo thing. And I’ve never gotten married because….
Some people may think I have the gift of singleness because I’m actually able to get some significant things done while being relatively happy. But the truth is I totally do not have the gift of singleness, and I’m probably only happier than most people because many have married a not 100% complementary person, and most people (including ‘Christians’) willfully sin in serious ways. This is a recipe for unhappiness to the max.
I decided long ago that I’d rather be single than marry the wrong person. And I’m realizing more and more that marrying the right person prematurely could have also been a disaster.
So I’m not bitter. And I think this is the main point that God wants me to share. I’m not mad at anyone. I basically operate on only about 2 cylinders. I’m far from being balanced. And to be honest, I’m lonely all the time. And I’m 52.5-years-old. I’ve lived this way all of my adult life. It’s frustrating!
But I’d be far more frustrated and far less fruitful had I married someone I shouldn’t have. I totally believe there is a right person. I said this in My Theory on Divorce and ‘Marriage’…:
There are so many people in a quandry. First, so many have gotten married without making sure their spouse was God’s will, and some pastors are happy to oblige.
I know one pastor who said from the pulpit that God doesn’t care who we marry. Really? Really?? [I actually walked out, the first time ever, horrified because I had already seen some of the devastation of this in his life and ministry…] James 4 says:
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.” 14 Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. 15 For you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.” 16 But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil. 17 To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin.
Isn’t who we marry more important than where we live? Isn’t who we marry part of what James calls “this or that?” Aren’t we supposed to be led by the Holy Spirit? Isn’t He supposed to lead us into all truth?
Our heavenly Father does care. He didn’t leave us as orphans. We ought to say, “if the Lord wills…” — “Your will be done.” But many have married without making sure, and now, many wish they had….
And if I had married the right person prematurely, I’m mostly convinced that I probably would not have had the liberty to investigate and discover the significant things that I have.
So basically, I really, really, really dislike not being married. And it takes me forever to get things done. But at least I’m getting significant things done, and for that, I’m thankful. Being able to produce fruit is totally worth all of these years of “hope deferred makes the heart sick.”
Here is a good example of fruit that could actually change the world as we know it:
My Who-Goes-To-Heaven Post is #1 in Google and No One Can Refute It!
I think that my article, Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way is a definitive statement on who goes to heaven. It’s been up for more than two years. It’s consistently among my most-read posts. And for about half a year, if one types into Google: who goes to heaven [doesn’t have to be in quotes], my post is the #1 hit.
Who-Goes-To-Heaven… has been read by many people and no one is able to refute it — even after I’ve offered monetary rewards to those who could. I started with offering $500 in a comment, and then $1,000. Now it’s: My $1,500 Challenge! I will give $1,500 to anyone who can refute my “Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way” article.
No one is able to refute this, yet 99.9% of pastors teach nearly or totally the opposite of what I’m presenting. And what I’m presenting, I think, is the most important key to The Third Great Awakening happening in America — what IHOP (International House of Prayer) and others are anticipating.
We’re basically in a corner, now. Anyone who still has hope that America will turn around economically is still following the mainstream media’s lies, including FOX News. I cover this in depth at ToBeFree, where I have 227 Media Bias Exposed articles and 16 Glenn Beck Deception articles. And what has happened to Sarah Palin, who is supposed to be a Christian: 36 articles on Sarah Palin. All of these are Categories that are in the pull-down menu on the top right at ToBeFree. Sarah is now the opposite of Ron Paul on foreign policy, and is still campaigning for John McCain, who is in many ways a globalist neocon. I have 62 posts in the John McCain category, if you’re interested in really knowing what’s going on. Why didn’t the ‘Christians’ support the real Christian, really pro-life candidate, Ron Paul? Huh? Now, it’s too late, which this stated in ’08: ‘Let Us Be ONE’ Prophecy Continues 10/8/08: “It’s TOO LATE to REVERSE what’s been done for MY MEN have been REJECTED … Now is the Time to OVERCOME and GET RIGHT With ALL … FREEeeeeeeeeeeeee———DOM at last … Your HEART will SWELL with LOVE and it will be EASY to REMAIN In Me when others are On The BOAT With You”
The Third Great Awakening (‘ONE’) Can Start in Alaska!
I’ve believed for many years that the real spiritual revival that will transform the church in America will start in Anchorage.
I’m excited about what is going on at IHOP, as you can see by my 54 posts on the subject. But I’m also very disappointed. There are a number of factors keeping the full revival from happening there. #1 is this: FALSE DOCTRINE: Why won’t Christian leaders even mention Hebrews 10:26? An IHOP example — so close and yet so far away — from full REVIVAL 🙁
And I have watched many hours of these meetings online, and never once have I seen what was the emphasis at Asbury, people getting right with those they’ve hurt: Asbury Revival, 1970: “Dr. Kinlaw, I am a liar. Now what do I do?” This has to happen for revival to occur: My 1990 Key-to-Revival Prophecy: “There is might and there is power and there is glory, but it is being withheld until these relationships are made right, until we love our brother enough to…”
There is also way too much of this at IHOP: The History of Reverse-Worship: The Focus is On Us, Not HIM — A Disturbing Trend.
Much of what has happened at IHOP has happened elsewhere in recent years. God will only show up so much until there is real holiness, or many people would die: [Mike Bickle IHOP 3/08] Making a Purity Covenant: Seven Practical Commitments — The Lord will visit IHOP-KC with an open door of glory in the spirit and a door of ministry to the nations. When Jesus opens a door of glory to release more of His manifest presence then He requires more agreement with His heart (a higher standard of obedience). … This is a promise with a warning of judgment.
And right-with-God-and-each-other holiness isn’t going to happen until either America falls further, or we get our doctrine correct on who goes to heaven. IHOP keeps calling (for me, ad nauseum) for shekinah glory to come while not fulfilling James 4 so God can fully come.
It’s so obvious. I believe that the first church who takes Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way and runs with it will be where the revival will start.
I love being able to watch the IHOP Awakening online. I do believe it’s very significant. Mike Bickle really knows something terrible is about to hit America Mike Bickle’s open vision about America: A great revival is coming and disaster is coming. Tanks were coming in mass across America. “I’m convinced it’s more than martial law.” The seriousness of this revival is very much a fruit of knowing that bad times are coming. I also appreciate how this move is legitimatizing that all can and should speak in tongues, and that it’s not uncommon for people really do laugh and shake when hit with the power of God. This has happened to me many times, and I have transcribed some of what Wes Hall has said at IHOP about this phenomenon. Here is one example: Wes Hall: Why do people laugh and shake under the power of God? “The Lord has released a revelation of the Father’s love I’ll never forget”
And I think you can see by my posts that I really appreciate many of the people there! Wes really is phenomenal — as are many on the worship teams. And Mike Bickle has always been amazing to me. What they are doing is definitely helping prepare the way, but I think their salvation doctrine, especially, keeps their cistern from holding enough water for shekinah glory to be able to fully-enough come.
Shelly had a vision of how this move was based largely upon the preceding moves, especially what happened with Jonathan Edwards. But then they seem to totally miss Jonathan Edwards key point. Today, Edwards sermons “Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God” has been reversed to be “willful sinners in the hand of a God Who accepts them no matter what!” What was true for the First Great Awakening is still true for the Third.
The Bible is so crystal clear on who goes to heaven, but who in “I’m okay; you’re okay” America has the guts to go there? I believe that the first church to teach what the Bible really says will usher in the Third Great Awakening. And it can happen right here in Anchorage, Alaska, ya’ll!
I’m convinced the fall of America is mainly because of the fall of real Christianity in America. And the main reason for the decline of real Christianity is because of the mass acceptance of once-saved-always-saved and its close sibling, “It’s hard to lose one’s salvation.”
It’s possible that these doctrines are so radically unbiblical that in God’s eyes these are actually heresies — heresies taught as dogma. We could have had revival long ago, and we wouldn’t now be facing what is likely the end of America.
Our only hope, now, lies in jumping fully into God — getting fully right with Him and each other.
A few days ago, I heard “Psalm 50” again. I’ve heard this many, many times. I think it is totally pertinent for us to understand that God being silent is not a good thing: [Psalm 50] God Warns: “You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. … Now consider this…lest I tear you into pieces and there be none to deliver” (Hell?)
God’s silence in today’s largely reverse-Christian church should be code red! We should all be jumping into God until we all clearly and regularly hear His voice, becoming ONE with each other and ONE in Christ. “Then the world will know,” Jesus prayed for us in John 17. This is His heart-cry.
We may only have a couple of years before things really get bad: Sid Roth Interviews John Paul Jackson On The Coming Perfect Storm. “The Woes of 2012! The Woes of 2012!” And Beyond-Asbury, ‘ONE’-Happens, All-Get-Healed REVIVAL!!!!!!!
If we get ready now, we can soar in Christ, no matter what. Check out part 3 of this post: ALCC Reinstates Group Prayer? | My Thoughts on the Worship Room Concept | Joyner’s Vision: “One of the Greatest Adventures of All Time!”
If we build it He will come. “Fruit will come.”
Please? Let’s cross the bridge together into the greatest adventure of all time!
Will you join me?
“Draw near to Him and He’ll draw near to you,” guaranteed!
And if we all draw near, together … !!!!!!!
