‘Sweaty ministry’: Pastors/Worship leaders operating in the flesh, not in the Spirit, faking Christianity

I first heard the term ’sweaty ministry’ from Mike Fick in the early ’80s, while attending Abbott Loop Bible School. I’ve seen a lot of sweaty ministry since. The majority of pastors and worship leaders fake it, acting like everything is okay when it’s not okay. Some pastors are even giddy, laughing and patting people on the back like used car salesmen.

I have no idea how their hireling worship leaders “lead worship” Sunday after Sunday without God’s presence showing up. The pastors say how great the worship was, when it is spiritually dead. Cranking up the volume of state-of-the-art instrumentation cannot substitute for worshiping in Spirit and in truth.

…“God RESISTS THE PROUD, but GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. DRAW NEAR TO GOD, and HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU. Steve Quayle has been urgently warning about what’s coming for decades, often getting the timing premature, but we may be approaching the thick of it now.

I watched this at 1.75x speed. It’s not all interesting, but it’s good to listen to Quayle at times. Most of his material is now subscription only. I haven’t yet subscribed, but may.

Quayle is wrong about tithing. It doesn’t matter if it was done one time before the law was given. Now, in the new covenant, we are to be led by the Holy Spirit, Whom they didn’t have before and during the law. The Holy Spirit is to lead us into all truth, Jesus said.

In Catholic Church, Doctrines of Demons?

I believe Catholicism is a false religion, a system based on false theology; though, there are some Catholics who are real Christians. They believe their tradition trumps what the Bible actually says; though, Paul said the Bereans were more noble because they checked the scriptures daily to see if what Paul told them was true.

Many billions of Catholics are now in hell who were assured they were going to heaven.

Protestantism isn’t doing much better because of “once saved, always saved” and “only believe,” instead of “abide.”

We must actually abide in Christ to be “in Christ,” having clear consciences and clean hearts — resting in Christ — taking up our crosses and following Him.

Christianity is not a system. It’s a right relationship.
