Most of what he says here is good, but his idea that the apostles were speaking in Armenian in Acts 2 and not in tongues is bizarre.
Biblically speaking, tongues are mainly people’s personal prayer language in which the Holy Spirit speaks through people mysteries that “no one understands,” which builds up the speaker.
The most popular, current false teaching says it can only be an Acts-2 experience in which foreigners understand, which the rest of the texts clearly refute.
Michael Brown mentions the blessing with the spirit aspect (verses 16 and 17).
I would add that I believe a main reason that Christians are built up when praying in tongues is because tongues is often perfectly praying against evil spirits, perhaps to angels in their language, who then deal with the demons. And this may be why Paul says tongues are praying in the language of men and angels in 1 Cor. 13:1. Praying in the Spirit can set us and others FREE!

The fear of God is now only “reverence.” Sin is rampant, so it’s easy for the woke to mock “Christians” now.
I wonder how many charismatics still pray in tongues regularly. Most ‘Christian’ men seem to be too busy lusting, walking according to the flesh instead of the Spirit, disqualifying them from the Kingdom.

Rapture-removal is not the historic teaching of the Church. One of the more astonishing facts in the history of eschatological thought, and one that most Christians are unaware of, is that the idea of “a secret pre-tribulation, Rapture removal from the earth of the Church” is a fairly recent theory in Church history. When we’ve completely repented from lusting, the lust demons then no longer have a right to be in us to drive lust. We’ve closed the sin door that lets them in. But if we knowingly, willfully let ourselves sin again, the demon(s) have the right to reenter to addict us all over again — back into that place where we no longer abide in Christ and again cannot bear fruit. We’ve let ourselves again become prodigal.
Once we’re free from the lust demons, this place of freedom is like daylight compared to darkness — fresh air! We can relax, and are no longer driven.
Though the endorphin hits from lusting are gone too, the pleasures and false joy from sinning.
WITHDRAWALS For serious lust addicts, it might take a few days after the demon(s) go to be able to completely relax and rest in freedom — until freedom and rest is the norm.
They say lust addictions can even rewire the brain, shrinking parts, like the self-control center. Regular lusting can also cause vitamin/mineral deficiencies. Complete normalcy could take some time.
Then we have to be ever vigilant to not let those demons come back again. We discipline ourselves to look away when we’re tempted to lust, to not open that lust door again, which gives the demon(s) the right to come back into our bodies and drive lust through thoughts and strong feelings they give us.
After having lived totally lust free, we then know what this FREEDOM is like. The difference is COMPLETELY OBVIOUS. If we let the demon(s) back in again, it’s like being in prison all over again — which is probably the normal condition for most people today, including even most pastors, who themselves aren’t free, because they’ve bought into the lies themselves, and teach some of them, like “once saved always saved,” “only believe,” or “it’s hard to lose one’s salvation.”
Many New Testament scriptures teach that if we’re addicted to lust we can’t go to heaven.
Jesus said if we look at a woman to lust after her in our heart we’re committing adultery, and it would be better for us to lose body parts than for our entire bodies to be thrown into hell.
We need to make sure we live in Paul’s “those who belong to Christ” list in Galatians 5, to not be in serious danger.
In John 15 and 17, Jesus tells us He wants HIS JOY to be in us and OUR JOY to be FULL!
Jesus’ prayer in John 17 should be our goal as the body of Christ — that we’d be ‘ONE’ with each other in Christ “that the world will know!” We need to fulfill God’s holiness goal in Ephesians 4:11-16 — which is supposed to be normal Christianity.
We need to have the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT in our lives instead: love, joy, peace, kindness and self-control — getting our JOY from Christ, not endorphin hits from lusting, disobeying Christ, setting ourselves up for eternal punishment by putting ourselves in the “will not inherit the kingdom” list in Galatians 5.
We can live FREE!!!

Holiness is normal Christianity. Willfully sinning without fully repenting is leaving Christ, being a prodigal son.

Something is seriously reverse-Christian with dispensational theology that the Scofield Study Bible birthed. Scofield was a scoundrel (see video above), and the Oxford University Press added additional false doctrinal notes after Scofield died. Chuck Baldwin explains the horrible fruit.
NOTE: I do NOT believe at all that God is done with the covenant to the true Jews. Chuck does, but I do NOT believe in replacement theology. Also, there is a rebellion clearly mentioned in Romans 11 that most pastors never mention — until the fullness of the Gentiles happens. People should read Romans 11 very carefully. Pastors aren’t telling us the whole truth, and many are teaching false doctrines that are disastrous!
