It’s breathtaking to consider:
You have two eyes, each composed of 130 million photoreceptor cells. In each one of those cells, there are 100 trillion atoms – that’s more than all the stars in the Milky Way galaxy!
Yet some still think it happened by chance.
Looks almost 3D at 1440p resolution! STUNNING, watching at 1440p, one step up from 1080p, which seems blah in comparison. 2160p doesn’t do better on my computer. And 4320p breaks up for me.

These Photos Show What a Peacock Feather Looks Like Up Close
Peacock feathers are designed [by God – ed.] to dazzle and attract a mate, but they’re equally amazing when viewed from up close. Canadian photographer Waldo Nell photographed one through a microscope, and the resulting photos look like colorful abstract art.
Nell shot the photos through an Olympus BX 53 microscope and a Canon Rebel T3i DSLR. Each image is composed of hundreds of photos that were stacked and blended to create single images with higher resolution and greater depth of field.
Nell works as a software engineer, but he’s also an “avid photographer interested in the extraordinary.”

Night 11 of the Aurora Hunt was The Night! Here’s an 8-minute video containing my 1st ever real-time aurora footage shot with the Sony A7s II mirrorless camera (with Nikkor 24mm/f1.4 lens). This is the ACTUAL SPEED the northern lights were dancing. I was on a 2-1/2 week aurora hunt which took me 750 road-tripping miles from my Anchorage home to the Brooks Range of Northern Alaska. November 1, 2015 was scary windy with snowdrifts forming on the Haul Road but the aurora explosions that filled the sky were fantastic! I’ve been aurora hunting for a living since 1997 and this blew me away. Hope you enjoy.

“I started the 11 day count when I departed from Anchorage. A few days to Fbx, then a couple days up the Haul Rd to Coldfoot. Then I truck camped a couple nights north of Wiseman along the Dietrich River (beautiful!). Drove up and over Atigun Pass and camped toward Galbraith Lake out by Toolik Field Station. That’s where the North Slope begins. I’ve driven the 100+ mile leg up to Prudhoe/Deahorse but not this time. I prefer the rough & rugged topography of the Brooks Range….although if you’re looking for caribou & muskox the Slope is good for that. When I start to run low on gas & camper propane I make my way back south and celebrate and top off my reserves in Coldfoot Camp. This truck stop is a lot more inviting when coming home than when you’re going up. …”

RICK JOYNER: … He said, that is the key to eternal joy, because it is the joy of the Lord, not our joy, that is our strength.
SID ROTH: And so the paradigm is all wrong for most believers. Most believers are after their joy and it’s a paradox when you go, if I’m understanding you right, Rick, when you go after God’s joy, what is going to make him joyful, you end up with more joy than if you were going after your joy. Is that what you’re saying?
RICK JOYNER: He says we were created for his pleasure. So I did a study, research, what are the things that bring God joy? And I set my heart to do these things every day. So Jesus wants to SHARE HIS JOY WITH US, which will happen by doing what He wants. And HE WANTS OUR JOY TO BE FULL! He says in John 15:9-14:

When I first starting hearing God regularly (early ’80s) there would be other voices causing confusion. I found that if I brought my micro-cassette recorder to ‘Prayer and Praise’ in Bible School the other voices would flee during worship, so I could hear clearly, to then record the Holy Spirit’s still, small Voice’s words.

Worship…. Possibly our Greatest Weapon
When we worship the LORD, we place our eyes fully on Him and we see Him for who He is: All powerful. We know He can do anything and we need not be afraid of anyone. When we don’t see Him, we sink, like Peter did when he took his eyes off Jesus to look at the stormy waves.
In one particular dream, I wrestled with a demon in the spiritual realm. The demon was trying to plunge a sharp knife into my heart. I held onto his wrists as he pushed at me to kill me. In every occasion when I am in a confrontation with a demonic spirit, I rebuke it in the name of Jesus and it eventually flees. Not this time. I rebuked repeatedly, and although it wavered in strength and focus at the authority in His name, it still continued with great persistence in its efforts to plunge this knife into my heart to kill me.
As I watched the point of this razor sharp blade one inch from the skin of my chest, I thought this time it might actually kill me. I was losing strength and I knew I could no longer keep that blade from piercing into my heart.
Suddenly, the LORD took me over. He suddenly caused me to take my eyes off of this demon and his blade and to look upward toward Heaven. Then The LORD caused me to SING the NAME OF JESUS in WORSHIP!! The singing was beautiful. The more I sang the mighty name of JESUS, the more of His power and love and AWESOMENESS I felt. I began to be lifted up in flight and the demon lost all strength to hold onto me. He fell away from me and was gone. He wasn’t my problem anymore, but God’s. I just sang the name of JESUS and woke up. …

As a senior in high school (St. Croix Lutheran in W. St. Paul, MN) in the ’70s, I realized I couldn’t love people fully enough, and that I needed God’s help to do it. I didn’t know if Christianity was the right religion, because Lutheranism hadn’t done it for me, or from what I could see in those around me. So I decided to research every religion until I found the right one. I started by reading the Bible for myself, starting with the Book of Acts.
When I read this story about Paul and Silas being thrown into prison — being beaten, yet they still worshiped with their whole being, God filling them so fully — I realized they had it.
And I’ve never needed to look anywhere else, but have been frustrated by how sub-biblical Christianity mostly is today.
Anyway, these are highlights of this article, 4 Ways to Quiet Your Spirit Before God, by Steve Hill:
Remember when Paul and Silas were in prison? They were not only chained; they had also been severely beaten. Most likely their prison cell was infested with rats, and diseases were rampant.
I can imagine Paul looking at the burns on his hands from the chains and the cuts all over his body. He and Silas were hurting, and their lives were in jeopardy. But what did they do? Instead of getting depressed and complaining, they began to praise God.
I can just hear them lifting their voices to God in praise in the midst of their desperation, saying, “We worship You, Lord. We worship You, Jesus. Thank You for Your presence. Thank You for Your strength. We love You, Lord.”
It caught the attention of heaven, and God sent an earthquake to deliver them!

I must use the story of Jesus in the garden during His passion as the example of aligning ourselves to God’s will. …
But something else happened to Jesus in the garden after He prayed. Notice the next verse: “An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him” (v. 43). My friend, this is so powerful. Always remember that after Jesus resigned Himself to God’s will, the angels strengthened Him.
And so it is with you. It’s after you resign yourself to God’s will that the angels will come and strengthen you!

Here is where so many miss it. They allow their present situation to dictate everything that’s going on around them. Instead, you must learn to relax and say, “This is a season, and it is going to pass. It’s going to bring the peaceable fruit of righteousness. Some good is going to come out of this.”
Isaiah 30:15 tells us why it’s so important to learn how to quiet our spirits: “In quietness and trust is your strength” (NIV). It doesn’t get much clearer than that.
Quieting your spirit will help you navigate through the storms of life no matter what you are going through and no matter what’s happening in the world around you. It’s an art and a spiritual discipline that will change your life and help set the course for your future as it has mine. Why not begin today?
Singing daily for at least ten minutes reduces stress, clears sinuses, improves posture and can even help you live longer.
