Some of us got into a big discussion on tithing. Many pastors now realize what they’ve been teaching really was old covenant law, for a different era, and for the Levites — and they need to be honest with the people so they can have clean consciences and God can move — so ‘ONE’ can happen “that the world will know” (John 17).
Many are digging their heels in, because this is a “love of money is the *root* of all evil,” near-and-dear issue. Paul said “those who are led by the Spirit are the children of God” (Rom. 8:14), but few pastors today are Spirit-led and teaching the people to be led by the Spirit.
Tithing is a ONE can happen issue. Pastors need to come clean, so they will have integrity and God will move again — instead of acting like everything is okay when it is clearly not.

On Sunday, March 9th, Evangelist and Pastor Steve Hill went home to be with the Lord.
After experiencing his own deliverance from drugs, alcohol and crime in 1975, Steve Hill dedicated his life to serving the Lord, and led many to salvation during his time here on Earth. He served as the evangelist during the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida from 1995 to 2000, which drew more than 4 million people from 150 different nations. Thousands of lives were dramatically transformed through this revival as the power of Christ was ministered to those in attendance. Steve and his wife, Jeri, were also the founders and senior pastors of Heartland World Ministries Church in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Steve Hill was a great man of God who dedicated his life to serving the Lord, and he will be greatly missed. Please remember to keep his family in your prayers during this difficult season.

A Tribute to Steve Hill
After many years of a courageous battle with cancer, Steve Hill has gone to be with the Lord.
Who can find words to describe his life and the impact he had on millions of lives? Who can describe his burning passion for the lost and his unflinching zeal for the Lord?
Steve and I were sovereignly connected through our friendship with Leonard Ravenhill, the saintly intercessor and broken-hearted author of Why Revival Tarries.
It was through Bro. Len that we got to know each other in the years before the Brownsville Revival, and it was a Ravenhill quote that became famous through Steve at Brownsville: “The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized during the lifetime of the opportunity.”
That quote also described Steve’s life as a believer. He was running his race with intensity and focus—not sitting on the sidelines or strolling along—and he was running so as to win.

Genesis 6:3
A warning is a notice of approaching or probable danger. To warn someone is to caution them against anything that may prove injurious.
For example, a farmer might sternly warn you to “get out of bed during harvest time! If you don’t pull out the combine and sweep the fields while the harvest is ripe, you’re going to not only lose the harvest but lose your family’s income for the upcoming months. If you don’t harvest the grain outside, you won’t have any grain for bread inside.”
Many of us as parents may have the opportunity to warn a small child to “look both ways when you cross the road! Son, if you chase after that soccer ball when it bounces out into the street like you just did, without looking both ways for traffic, you could get hit by a car and possibly be killed!”
The sharp commanding voice of a military officer would ring out the warning, “Troops, if you don’t keep your eyes on the enemy, if you don’t pay close attention to every possible form of attack, we are all liable to be killed on the battlefield!”
The Word of God is full of warnings of a much more permanent nature. This one is clear and to the point. If you don’t do what you are supposed to do—if you don’t get right with God, if you don’t make things right with your neighbor, if you don’t get your house in order, if you don’t think seriously about your spiritual condition—there is coming a day when it will be too late.

When Jesus’ teaching that “everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart” [and verse 29 says: “And if your right eye causes you to offend, pluck it out, and cast it from you: for it is better for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell” – editor] (Matt. 5:28) is brought to their attention, they simply respond, “That’s preaching the Law, not grace! When shown John 15:6, “If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned,” they answer, “Thank God I’m not under that old performance-based system anymore!”
When exhorted to walk as true disciples because of the Lord’s words in Luke 9:23, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me,” they say, “That is so old. I now enjoy an effortless union with Jesus.”

There are miracles in which God heals supernaturally, and then apparently, there is a natural affect of believing positive and wholesome thoughts about our health. Jesus’ words in Mark 11:24 may relate to both:
Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
I got a word from God about this once:
“You are healed. You are healthy. You are strong. Believe this. Take this and run. Don’t worry, think negative thoughts or disbelieve, or this will drive you down. Be not afraid.”
HeartMath says:
“Remember, your thoughts send out energy to every cell in your body. This video is a great reminder to nurture positive thoughts, feelings and attitudes.”
This principle may be far more important than most realize. The body is electric. And the heart is more than a pump. Western medicine only thinks in terms of drugs and surgery.
[I’m skeptical of some of the results of this water experiment. How could written words taped onto the container have an effect, for example? More likely it was the effect of the hearts of those thinking about those subjects while being near the water, I’m thinking. HeartMath talk about how the human heart emits an energy field for many feet, for example.]

Masaru Emoto was born in Yokohama, Japan in July 1943 and a graduate of the Yokohama Municipal University’s department of humanities and sciences with a focus on International Relations. In 1986 he established the IHM Corporation in Tokyo. In October of 1992 he received certification from the Open International University as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine. Subsequently he was introduced to the concept of micro cluster water in the US and Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology. The quest thus began to discover the mystery of water.
He undertook extensive research of water around the planet not so much as a scientific researcher, but more from the perspective of an original thinker. At length he realized that it was in the frozen crystal form that water showed us its true nature through. Distilled water exposed to classical music took delicate, symmetrical crystalline shapes.
When the words “thank you” were taped to a bottle of distilled water, the frozen crystals had a similar shape to the crystals formed by water that had been exposed to Bach’s “Goldberg Variations”- music composed out of gratitude to the man it was named for.
When water samples were bombarded with heavy metal music or labeled with negative words, or when negative thoughts and emotions were focused intentionally upon them, such as “Adolf Hitler”, the water did not form crystals at all and displayed chaotic, fragmented structures.
When water was treated with aromatic floral oils, the water crystals tended to mimic the shape of the original flower.
Sometimes, when we cannot see the immediate results of our affirmations and or prayers, we think we have failed. But, as we learn through Masaru Emoto’s photographs, that thought of failure itself becomes represented in the physical objects that surround us. Now that we have seen this, perhaps we can begin to realize that even when immediate results are invisible to the unaided human eye, they are still there. When we love our own bodies, they respond. When we send our love to the Earth, she responds.
For our own bodies at birth are more than 60 percent water, and the percentage of water in our bodies remains high throughout life (depending upon weight and body type). The earth’s surface is more than 60 percent water as well. And now we have seen before our eyes that water is far from inanimate, but is actually alive and responsive to our every thought and emotion. Perhaps, having seen this, we can begin to really understand the awesome power that we possess, through choosing our thoughts and intentions, to heal ourselves and the earth. If only we believe.

It is often misunderstood as being religious, or narrow-minded. I would submit that this view has real answers to the UFO enigma. Here’s an example. Added to that is the testimony of a retired missionary who went on the record in our news magazine, as he shared about his victory over what was the Mothman apparitions in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The Bible is actually a manual for dealing with the things of the spirit. In fact, we are told that the natural man – one who is not, ‘born again’, cannot possibly understand the things of the spirit. I know that our weapons are not carnal and we fight unseen principalities and rulers, of darkness. The good news is that we have authority, in the name of Jesus. By His blood we have the victory. I remember when I interviewed Lawrence Gray, he was the Missionary that the ‘Mothman,’ appeared to, one night, in his bedroom. He was paralyzed with fear– and who wouldn’t be – but then he began to say to himself, “The Blood of Jesus.” It’s not that those words are some sort of magical formula. They’re not, but in the hands of a believer, who knows that he, or she, has been saved, by the blood shed on Calvary, those words become lethal weapons! That confession of believing on Him who was sent, opens the doorway to eternal life.

Pressure put on pastors to not teach the Word of God.
“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” – 2 Tim. 4:3
The current estimate is there are 390 billion galaxies, each having an average of 100 billion stars — our sun being an average sized star. And some think the universe may be infinite, because the more we improve our telescopes the more galaxies we see. What does that tell us about God, and how impossible this could have been done without God? Imagine the gravitational pull of all of that matter compressed before the “big bang,” before it shot out by chance, propelled by nothing.
I don’t understand the time-was-changed theory (proposed by some creationists), but the appearance of age theory makes the most sense to me: God “stretched out the heavens” in a day, just like he made the trees mature in a day too. Adam and Eve didn’t start out as an embryo either. God just made it and then that way. Nothing is too big or difficult for God.
Why can’t we accept God could have done with the universe and light if we accept He made 390 billion galaxies? It’s like limiting what God can do: “He could have made 390 billion galaxies, but couldn’t have done it all in a day, stretching them so light came to Earth from all of them right after He created them” — the universe completed all in 6 days, just like the Bible said.
This shows more of the greatness of God — how He is so far above our human understanding, and how His Word should be accepted, even when we don’t like or can’t fully comprehend what it says, like the way being really narrow and few finding it.
God isn’t meant to be fully understood this side of heaven, but what He says must be obeyed. We don’t have to understand it all, but we can be in awe, and fully submit: Abba Father. You are awesome, and I will follow you all the days of my life.

the size of the Universe from its original size.
What affect did that have on time, and on red and blue shift?
Seven books of the Bible reference this event starting from about 1000 BC in the book of Psalms, to about 518 BC in the book of Zechariah (a span of almost 500 years). This “stretching” of the universe was done during the creation week described in Genesis. Dr. Russell Humphreys suggests in his book Starlight and Time that it may have given the universe an older look the farther you move away from Earth into the outermost reaches of the universe. From Earth’s perspective, the universe would be about 6,000 – 10,000 years old. However, in the outermost reaches of the universe, this rapid expansion may have given those galaxies the appearance of being billions of years old, even though they aged that much in what is most likely less than 24 hours.
Current evolutionary thinking suggests that the universe is still expanding. This is based in large part of the belief that ‘red shift’ indicates that the stars and galaxies are moving away from each other. However, Isaiah 40:22 seems to suggest that this expanding of the galaxies was a one time event that occurred in a very short amount of time (probably in less than 24 hours), and that the expansion may no longer be occurring. Tents and curtains don’t keep expanding once they’re fully opened up. They are finite in size.
[It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Furthermore, none of these Bible verses appear to suggest that this expansion is still going on.
Do scientists really know what the impact would be of having the universe expanded at what was most likely millions or even billions of times faster than the speed of light? How would such a rapid expansion affect the visible red and blue shift we see today in space? How would that affect time, especially at the outer edges of the universe? Could the red shift that evolutionists believe indicates an expanding universe actually be the result of this rapid stretching of the universe that started and ended about 6,000 years ago?

Get Your House in Order
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

We are living in days of chaos and disorder. Order, as referred to here, suggests a harmonious arrangement in proper condition. Paul described the days in which we now live in his second letter to Timothy. Men and women are lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, unthankful, unholy. Many are without natural affection, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof (see 2 Timothy 3:1-5). As in the days of Noah, our houses (lives), are not in order.
There is an event on the horizon that will change the order of every man, woman and child. God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth” (Genesis 6:13). Why? Because, “God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart” (verses 5, 6).
God’s Word clearly warns us, “Get your house in order!” Once again, mankind is at the place where he has become an abomination in God’s eyes. In His great mercy, God gives us fair warning—space to repent. It is time for godly men and women to rise up like Noah, who was moved with fear at the warning from God of things to come. Noah had his house in order; he obeyed the Lord and escaped the judgment that came. Would you be like Noah? In this day of chaos, is your house in order?
