On December 27, 2020, we were given the opportunity to write on the unfinished main auditorium’s walls and floors. The roof collapsed in 2012. About 25 feet from here, what my Bible school teachers Jerry Wilkinson and Frank Gularte had written more than 40 years ago is still there.
I wrote this blueprint for revival so it would happen this year, having been trying since the ’80s. The response has been total silence. So now I’ll post it here exactly 1 year later.
NOTE: “No condemnation” in Romans 8 requires walking according to the Spirit, like Paul: “I also practice always having a conscience void of offense toward God and *men*.” (Acts 24:16)

I first heard the term ’sweaty ministry’ from Mike Fick in the early ’80s, while attending Abbott Loop Bible School. I’ve seen a lot of sweaty ministry since. The majority of pastors and worship leaders fake it, acting like everything is okay when it’s not okay. Some pastors are even giddy, laughing and patting people on the back like used car salesmen.
I have no idea how their hireling worship leaders “lead worship” Sunday after Sunday without God’s presence showing up. The pastors say how great the worship was, when it is spiritually dead. Cranking up the volume of state-of-the-art instrumentation cannot substitute for worshiping in Spirit and in truth.
…“God RESISTS THE PROUD, but GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. DRAW NEAR TO GOD, and HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU. ‘Sweaty ministry’: Pastors/Worship leaders operating in the flesh, not in the Spirit, faking Christianity

The idea comes from what Jesus said in John 12:

Paul taught (and Frank taught in Bible school) Jesus is The Pattern in Php 2:

This is satire, but isn’t far from what Rick Benjamin actually did in Anchorage at Abbott Loop last Sunday, in order for the people to not see what Paul actually said.

Since this message is about discipline, it’s interesting thatKevin once told me how important it is to work out physically for good health, after I was told by God: “ask him about healing.” I was surprised to hear something practical instead of spiritual.

Something terrible happened when our church stopped having group prayer, praying in the Spirit, decades ago. It’s been dead ever since, so many don’t even bother going anymore, including myself. They don’t want truthers.
False doctrine then crept in too, big-time! Sick!
Radical, group prayer, dealing with demonic forces, praying perfectly in the Spirit is a HUGE part of the solution.

WHAT OUR FOCUS SHOULD BE:
I got this word from God for a church founder in Anchorage, 25 years ago, while getting ready to discuss with the then, head pastor what I had recently been shown about why God couldn’t move in our church.
It says a lot about what needs to happen for real Christianity and full revival to occur. And this is also a salvation issue: “There is therefore now *no condemnation* to those who are IN CHRIST Jesus, who don’t WALK according to the flesh, but ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT.” (Romans 8:1)
This is also the prophecy that inspired my NOHATE license plate:

A Gift that Will Set Many Free!
There is another day, a day that will happen if you let it.
I want you to be free, free from anxiety. A death warrant is out for your souls. It will get you if you let it. You must pray.
Many die from unknown causes. They are weak from attacks from the Devil who never gives up—curse after curse—toward My people. Many have given in, unable to walk.
Tongues, I’ve given you the gift of tongues from My heart to you. It is a gift that will set many free if you use it regularly. It is for you to walk holy, set free in forgiveness while you pray.
The two work together. One attacks the Devil, while you release those who have hurt you deeply, wounded your soul.
Pray for them. You can focus; you don’t have to pray in general all the time. I will give you the gift of lifeas you pray.
This is how it works. Believe in your heart you are praying for one another; though, it will come from the Holy Ghost, the words you emit that I give you to speak. Focus on these people, and pray until your tongues cease. I will tell you who to pray for, but this isn’t necessary. You can pray for anyone that way.
Believe in your heart; direct your tongues. I will fill your mouth as you speak and set people free. I will pray perfectly, as you obey, giving your life to others through prayer.
Amazing things will result! Your heart will be glad!
Watch Me do it. Prove My point. Try it now. Focus on someone who needs prayer. Believe in your heart you are praying for them as you speak words from above that fill your mouth. Pray it out, and watch them change, for I will release them from anger and all kinds of oppressions as you pray. You will see it, and it will amaze your intelligence. Many will be set free. Do it now. This is an important point.
And as you pray, forgive, release them from all kinds of cares and bondages. The two work hand in hand. You forgive and I pray through your words that I give you.
This is freedom! Set them free. Do it now; why wait when you can have the chance to move mountains, havean impact on society that many will see and feel. Your heart will be glad. Many will walk holy.
Pray for your elders. Many are not in the ministry to give life. Many are sucking you dry. They need to give up the ghost of unforgiveness and get on the bandwagon of love.
The seal of approval, you all want it. You can have it now. Why wait? You can be in Me as we speak. You can know for sure that you are sons of God, that I am in you and you are in Me. You will feel it. Your heart will be glad, and you will pray.
I will take you to heights unknown. Miracles will take place all around you as you obey. Many will be glad that you took the step of faith to lead. When all looked hopeless, you got up from your seat and prayed.
Pray. Let your heart be glad, and don’t give up. Pray until your tongues stop. This is an amazing gift that has much power to change.
Anyone can pray in tongues. It is a gift for all who obey, all who call on Me for Mercy.
Drink deeply, and let it give you life, freeing you, while you relax and find peace in a home here on earth.
We are together. Let us pray.
Living Examples, Filled to Overflowing Let Us Be ONE Prophecy, Part 15 of 33 excerpt:
It takes two to have fellowship. No more, but more will come. Start meeting two by twos until more follow. Meet once a week, and pray aloud. Strengthen yourselves, and go to the nations. They will see your light and be glad. But first, start at home. Build yourself a base, a core of believers who know Me from the bottom of their heart.
You will see great things happen in your midst, and it will be fun, exciting to watch Me work in you to others. Let them see your light. Let it shine. Let it be bold. Don’t hold back. Live a life of love.

At minute 7, this is a taste of JESUS’ GREAT HEART-CRY for His people who are so far from Him, doing their own thing — and are not only approaching disaster on Earth, but for all eternity too — unless we get right with each other and Jesus now, before it’s too late.
I experienced this in an elder’s meeting at Abbott Loop in the late ’90s. JESUS IS GRIEVED by what has happened, and the lack of willingness to repent!
Josh prayed a prayer, mentioning reconciliation, and this horrible agony came over me in which I cried out in this great pain that Jesus’ shared with me, and expressed through me!!!
Carter got up and put his hand on my shoulder….
Many of the elders may not have know where that came from, but Jesus was sharing how He feels because of the “lives slain at Abbott Loop,” and the leaders act like everything is okay — trying to cover up!
He wants His people….
Jesus’ heart is really, REALLY AGONIZING!
What Gary Clark Jr. expresses through his guitar here is just a taste of THE AGONY JESUS FEELS right now.
Most don’t realize.
REALLY serious!!!
And we can do something about this — and turn this thing around!
‘ONE’ will happen, “that the world will know” (Jesus’ heart-cry in John 17)! And we’ll be FREE for the world to SEE!!!!!!!

Jesus’ Heart-Cry: Let Us Be One
Let us be one. My cry is out to you to come near. I want My people, please? May we be one. I need you to pray, to fall on your face and not give up. Press in, overcome temptation. Be not afraid to obey. I will give you life, all those who follow. You will not faint. You will grow strong when you give up the ghosts that hold you back, the sins of iniquity.
Feel My hurt. It is great. My people have vanished from My life. I am sad, and you are lonely. There are few that remain close to Me where I can nourish their souls.
In Me there is life. There is no other way. I in you; you in Me, where we belong—together. Let us be one, together in love, where we can pray, enveloping each other in goodness. We can do that. It’s not all one way. I am life. There is no other to follow. We can be friends. I will lead, but I will receive as you repent and draw close to Me. For I love My people. I love to pray. I intercede for the saints to bring them pleasure. We can be one. We can be close, you and I.
There is a place of holiness, where you will always be at My feet, a place of blessing. Let it come. Let it envelop you. Let it take over your pride.
Come, My people. Let us rest. Follow no other. I am your place of security, where power dwells, power to overcome sin, pride and temptation. I have life to give.
You are My friend. Get up and be counted among the sheep. For there is error. Life has ceased for a reason. The church is dirty, a place of filth. It is not My home. How can I dwell among an unclean people who hurt each other, who tell each other stories, who hurt from the heart those that care?

I watched this tragedy happen at Abbott Loop CC in Anchorage, Alaska, firsthand.
They ignored the warnings, so completely they’ve now removed the prophecy mic — and the church which taught Ephesians 4:11-16 and had a reputation for being alive is now dead — refusing to get right with those who’ve been hurt — so it’s now man-centered religion.
May ‘ONE’ happen. Tom E. and others have prophesied this too: My Dream of ‘ONE’ Happening at Abbott Loop CC!

Who changed things from the vibrant, Spirit-empowered “by life or by death” faith of the New Testament to today’s spineless home-and-garden Sunday-morning religion?
Who changed things from “Leave everything and follow Me” (see Luke 14:33) to “Pray this little prayer and you’re set for eternity”?
Who changed things from “All who live godly lives in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (see 2 Tim. 3:12) to “Ask Jesus into your heart and enjoy a comfortable life”?
Who changed things from a fearless proclamation of the truth, whatever the cost or consequences, to a watered down, compromised message that is afraid to offend anyone? …
Who changed things from the New Testament faith, where even the disciples couldn’t minister without the Spirit’s enduement, to today’s version, where whole ministries are run with hardly any evidence of the Spirit’s work?
As A.W. Tozer once said, “If the Holy Spirit was withdrawn from the church today, 95 percent of what we do would go on and no one would know the difference. If the Holy Spirit had been withdrawn from the New Testament church, 95 percent of what they did would stop, and everybody would know the difference.” …
Who changed things from a God-centered faith to a man-centered faith, from “Take up your cross and deny yourself” to “Bypass the cross and empower yourself”?
Who changed things from holiness being beautiful to holiness being bondage….
Who changed things from the people of God being a threat to the powers of darkness to the people of God being active participants in darkness?

Like when church leaders refuse to get right with those they’ve hurt, and cover up for others who also have — acting like everything is okay when it’s clearly not. The presence of God can’t even be felt anymore during services. The Bible says teachers will get a stricter judgment, which only applies to hell. Church services should be prayer and reconciliation meetings until they can truly worship in Spirit and in truth. Jesus commands that we obey:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”
If we don’t feel right now, we’re not going to feel right when we see Jesus as the Judge, face to Face.
But if we get right with everyone now, and truly abide in Christ, Jesus promised he’d give us his grace so awesomely “that the world will know.” [John 17]
Stop making excuses, Rick B.. I just listened to the message you preached this morning. Sad. And you know better. You know God has left for a reason, and wants to come back and fill us, as in Tom E.’s prophecies.
We must obey, and then God will show up, which you’ve known at least since 1990, when I gave you the prophecy I’ll include in the comment below.

At first, I was pretty enthusiastic about Josh Tanner’s message on reconciliation (see my first link under ‘Related,’ below), but his point that we can reconcile once we get to heaven bothered me, and bothers me more and more as most still aren’t reconciling.
How many more will die not having seen ‘ONE’ happen, because of the once-saved-always-saved false teaching. It sounds so nice, but it’s diabolical — producing dead churches and destroyed lives — when our joy should be full, living in the Son!
once-saved-always-saved + reconciliation teaching = no reconciliation
Most won’t reconcile unless they have to, despite what the Holy Spirit is telling them to do in their consciences — the guilt they feel, which we’re taught can’t be ‘condemnation’ because we’re in Christ because we’re born-again. But the Bible says:

EXCITING message at Abbott Loop this morning by Josh Tanner: “Ambassadors of Reconciliation!”
‘ONE’ can still happen this year, “that the world will know” — Jesus’ heart-cry-prayer for us in John 17! The great revival, The Third Great Awakening that will transform Anchorage and greatly affect our nation!
Some things Josh said:
“We need to learn how to become excellent at reconciliation.”
“Am I wrecking or reconciling? You’re going one way or the other.”
He had them all say “I was wrong” out loud at minute-29.
Wow!
Selah.
The message wasn’t all great, though. At minute-16, Josh said we can hate people and still go to heaven, and then get right with people there. What?!
Huh? People who hate people don’t go to heaven (Gal. 5:19-6:9), which I’ve also proven in my article, linked below. Josh is still teaching the once-saved-always-saved heresy that is deceiving many into thinking we don’t need to walk clean now so we’ll have clean hearts to be able to enter then.
Josh did enthusiastically say we shouldn’t wait, though.
Overall, it was very good, and this is now only the second message I’ve heard in my entire life devoted only to reconciliation. The first was also by Josh in October, but I like this one much better. Very exciting, actually!

I’ll include some key links about this below. I’ve been pushing for this hard since 1990 — at one time too hard. But I’ve hung in there, because I know this is God’s desire for us, and we can do it!
Though the U.S. is dark, the future can be bright for us no matter what happens!!! : )

I was thinking today about how most churches have set an ungodly precedent in how they handle whistleblowers — the Snowdens who tried to resurrect the corrupted system.
How can we expect our government to be lovers of the truth if churches aren’t?

Very sad. Tom E’s vision of revival happening at Abbott Loop should have been fulfilled decades ago, merely by getting right with those who have been hurt, as God clearly said through many, including me. See my related links at the bottom of this post as to the problems and the SOLUTIONS.
Instead of reconciling (which they won’t even teach), they’re teaching once-saved-always-saved, like the other spiritually dead churches. It really is just a show.
God resists the proud, but longs to give grace to the truly humble. How much longer do we have to wait? How much further will America fall until ‘ONE’ happens, “that the world will know” — Jesus’ heart-cry for us in John 17?

Abbott Loop: 2nd Visit – Not Much Change

Last year I visited Abbott Loop Community Church on June 22. I found a church not visitor-friendly, the music long, loud, and too much a show. However the message by a guest preacher was awesome, one of the best I’ve heard in my life. (click here for the review) One of their members contacted me recently, noting they had a new pastor and urging me to give them another try. I visited again on July 26 finding the church still not visitor-friendly, the music even longer, louder, and still a show. The new pastor, Josh Tanner, came across more like a youth pastor with lots of energy, excitement, but not particularly plowing deep into his topic. …
The music started promptly at 10 a.m. and continued, almost without interruption for close to an hour. It seemed more show than worship. People dutifully stood….
Josh Tanner is a younger preacher, but his talent, energy and delivery come across more as a youth pastor than that of a pastor who can bridge generations. The sermon seemed to be oversimplified and somewhat pedantic. On taking the pulpit he joked that he was “…all fired up with six Red Bull’s” then admitted he was playing with the crowd. It made me wonder about what else in his remarks he was joking about. You can listen to Tanner’s sermon here. It had a little scripture and lots of stories, vignettes, and remembrances.

I sat through a 2-hour ‘worship’ service last night that was as dead as a doornail. It actually reminded me of a Quaker service I attended where we sat in a circle in total silence for an hour, listening to the heater turn on and off.
The solution is simple. The Third Great Awakening should have been happening for decades now:
1) Teach the truth about who goes to heaven instead of once-saved-always-saved. I prove in my first link, below, that we must overcome!
2) My second link, below, is a prophecy I got in 1990, which says exactly why God isn’t showing up, but longs to. We’re keeping ‘ONE’ from happening.
