Marie N. Robinson MD, a Cornell educated psychiatrist devoted her New York City practice to the treatment of frigidity. Her book, The Power of Sexual Surrender (1958) online here, is a revealing study of the feminine psyche. It is out-of-print. Why? It is politically incorrect.
Dr. Robinson says that millions of American women suffer from frigidity. While she explores many different causes, she notes that frigid women universally adopt the feminist view. This view, that a career as a wife and mother is demeaning and men exploit woman, creates an “emotional logjam” which obstructs sexual response and psychological development.
Dr. Robinson writes that a woman’s identity lies in an “essential feminine altruism.” Her self-expression and power are based on making her husband and children her first priority. Similarly, her sexual satisfaction and spiritual fecundity depend on self-surrender.
GENDER DIFFERENCES
Robinson says men and women are different by nature. Men are designed for mastery of the external (physical) world, and women for mastery of the internal (spiritual) world and the home. These are not social stereotypes, as feminists argue.
“Women are designed for duties different from those of the marketplace, another kind of stress entirely,” writes Robinson. They “tend to lose their essential womanliness if they stay [in the marketplace] by choice.” (149)
According to Robinson, “the feminist credo thoroughly discredited feminine needs and characteristics and substituted male goals for female goals.”(53)
“The depreciation of the goals of femininity, biological and psychological, became part and parcel of the education of millions of American girls. Homemaking, childbearing and rearing, cooking, the virtues of patience, lovingness, giving ness in marriage, have been systematically devalued. The life of male achievement has been substituted for the life of female achievement.” (55)
FEMININE DEVALUATION AND SELF-HATRED
Robinson writes that “to millions of women, hostility towards the opposite sex seems almost a natural law. Although modern women may pay lip service to the ideal of a passionate and productive marriage to a man, underneath she deeply resents her role, conceives of the male as fundamentally hostile to her, as an exploiter of her. She wishes in her deepest heart, and often without the slightest awareness of the fact, to supplant him, to exchange roles with him.” (emphasis mine 56)
Robinson says that if feminism had brought women happiness, the game might have been worth it.
“But it hasn’t been. The game has brought frigidity and restlessness and a soaring divorce rate, neurosis, homosexuality, juvenile delinquency all that results when a woman in any society deserts her true function.” (56)
Dr. Robinson writes that once the emotional “log jam” is removed, a woman’s natural instincts will flow and health will be restored. Essentially this involves “allowing herself to trust her husband in a very deep sense. It means that she finally realizes that she no longer has to fear or oppose his strength, but that she can rely on it to protect her, to give her the secure climate necessary for the full flowering of her femininity.” (153)
For a profound vaginal orgasm, Robinson writes, “the excitement comes from the act of surrender. There is a tremendous surging physical ecstasy in the yielding itself, in the feeling of being the passive instrument of another person…” (158)
On the other hand, the woman who mistrusts her husband’s love and, as a consequence, her own femininity has a “difficult, painful, frenetic” approach to life. She is at war with herself. In bed, she has to feel “in control all the time.”
Dr. Robinson says there is nothing in life more important than love. She believes marriage is the key to human development. The power of love is felt in the world through this relationship.
“Love means, in its very deepest sense union; union between individuals…It is the most basic and profound urge we have and its power for good is illimitable… the lover partner becomes as important as oneself…This fact is why real love never leads to domination or to a struggle for power…” (129)
CONCLUSION
The significance of The Power of Sexual Surrender is profound.
By coercing women to abandon their femininity and usurp the male role, feminism throws a spanner in the natural heterosexual mechanism of humanity. Women have been deprived of their natural biological and social role and condemned to loneliness and frustration. Similarly, men are deprived of the role of protector and provider essential to their development and fulfillment.
The triumph of such a wrongheaded ideology, and the suppression of the truth, signifies that control in the world has passed to a malignant force.
Robinson confirms my view that heterosexual union is based on an exchange of female power for male power expressed as love. A woman who seeks power is neutering herself and her husband. She will not receive love from a man whose identity is based on power. She cannot love someone she competes with. He cannot love her. This is the dilemma of feminists today.
As Marie N. Robinson confirms, woman loves by entrusting her power to the right man, her husband. He uses it to champion her interests. Thus she both empowers him and channels male power in a socially constructive direction. A woman’s real power is love, the power of self surrender.

THE GREEK WORDS

The Greek preposition used in Rev. 13:16 and 20:4 is epi (Strongs #1909), and is usually translated as ‘on,’ ‘in,’ and even ‘upon.’ So that seems to be vague enough to fit this possibility.
The Greek word for ‘mark’ is χάραγμα/charagma (Strongs #5480), and is defined here.
It does seem like it’s a mark on or beneath the skin, but possibly it’s a device held in the hand (iPhone) or worn on the forehead (like Google Glass?), and would be the only way to buy or sell, for those who have sold their souls to do so.
Many cell phones already have fingerprint scanning technology that connects the phone with the user. An iris scan can also, right now, electronically tie the phone to the owner.
CHIPS CAN CAUSE CANCER
Katherine Albrecht, author of “Spychips” and I Won’t Take the Mark: A Bible Book and Contract for Children, is an expert on this general topic, which she discusses a lot on her online radio show, and has shown that implanted RFID chips can cause cancer.
Embedded microchips are already in use in people and animals, but because they could cause health problems for some, an iPhone or Google Glass perhaps is a possibility, or maybe an option.
Whichever technology they use, it’s already here, for the first time, ever!
I think it’s likely that we will see the end of America and the birth of the NWO, prophesied in Revelation, so it’s really important to consider these things, and determine to never worship the Beast to be able to buy or sell.

Roberts Warns Churches Could Lose Tax-Exempt Status For Opposing Gay Marriage
Churches could lose their tax-exempt status with the IRS if they refuse to recognize the Supreme Court’s ruling Friday legalizing gay marriage in all 50 states, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts warned in his dissenting opinion.
He cited a comment made months ago by the U.S. government’s top lawyer on the same-sex marriage case.
“Hard questions arise when people of faith exercise religion in ways that may be seen to conflict with the new right to same-sex marriage — when, for example, a religious college provides married student housing only to opposite-sex married couples, or a religious adoption agency declines to place children with same-sex married couples,” Roberts wrote.
[Roberts continues:] “Indeed, the Solicitor General candidly acknowledged that the tax exemptions of some religious institutions would be in question if they opposed same-sex marriage. This video by Matthew Vines is a good example of the deception being used to claim that the Bible does not condemn gay marriage. It’s very slick and smooth.
He doesn’t even read the key New Testament text that says homosexuals cannot go to heaven, 1 Cor. 6:9. He also does not read 1 Timothy 1:10. And the Greek word arsenokoitai is plenty clear. Good explanation here (What Does the Bible Really Teach about Homosexuality? By Kevin DeYoung).

For balance, ‘Christians,’ please keep in mind that Paul also said that heterosexual lusters will not go to heaven too (Galatians 5 & 6). Jesus said this too in Matthew 5.
We need to take the PLANK out of our own eye so we can see clearly to take the speck out of our neighbor’s eye — so we can be salt and light — abiding in the Vine!
We need to focus on ourselves being right with God, so we can go to heaven, living in the Son, and so ‘ONE’ can happen, “that the world will know” (John 17)! This is what homosexuals need to see and hear, instead of all of this condemning. Many of them have been hurt:

Focusing on homosexuals’ sin, when most ‘Christians’ are willfully lusting isn’t Jesus’ way. It’s not life in the Son. But this seems to be what so many evangelicals are doing, now that the Supremes declared gay ‘marriage’ as legit.
Our lives must pass the smell test by not being hypocritical in any way. Too much of what evangelicals are doing doesn’t taste good for the world to see.
We need to be truthful about what the Bible says about homosexuality, and also truthful about what God’s Word says about heterosexual lusting.
The latter doesn’t seem to be happening much. ‘Christians’ don’t want to admit that they need to overcome lust sins too.

The once-saved-always-saved heresy shows itself again to be the key doctrine destroying Christianity in the US, and the US itself.
We should have had revival long ago, that the world would know.

In the second hour we will be joined by Stan Deyo who comes on the show every Tuesday in hr 2 to discuss bible prophecy, earth changes and many other issues.
I modified this list from a pastor who thinks because God hates some evil people (and David sometimes did in the old covenant) that we should also hate evil people. Though, in the new covenant, Jesus said we are to love our enemies. Mt. 5:43-45:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven.”
And John warns in 1 Jn. 3:15:
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.
I decided to post this because the fear of the Lord is rarely being taught correctly. Many say the God of the Old and New Testaments are different, because Jesus seemed like such a nice guy while on earth (except when he whipped the money changers). But Jesus was mainly living like you and I are supposed to, being led by the Spirit, having emptied Himself (Php. 2). We’re supposed to walk like Jesus walked. Jesus forgave those who crucified him, just like Stephen forgave those who stoned him to death.
I added some words from Jesus in his current, exalted state that show how much Jesus means business! Sexual immorality is a big deal to Jesus! The Bible emphasizes this a lot, and so should we, to not fall into this seductive trap.
Paul taught the goodness and severity of God in balance in Romans 11:
Don’t be conceited, but fear; for if God didn’t spare the natural branches [Jews], neither will he spare you. See then the goodness and severity of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness; otherwise you also will be cut off.
The church is currently out of balance, by only being taught one side of God’s character, His ‘goodness’ side. We need a reality check, so we’ll make sure we safely stay within God’s goodness side, so we’ll make sure we’re in the Son, being salt and light, and not be cut off.

Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood; a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.
Proverbs 22:14 The mouth of strange women [adulteress] is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.
Zechariah 11:8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
Hosea 9:15 “All their wickedness is in Gilgal; for there I hated them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house! I will love them no more. All their princes are rebels.
Malachi 1:2-3 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Jesus in Revelation 2:18-23 doesn’t actually mention the word hate, but remember how God struck Ananias and Sapphira dead in the New Testament!
“To the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: “The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished brass, says these things:
“I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first. But I have this against you, that you tolerate your woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
Behold, I will throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works. I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Before he wrote his plaintive confession in Psalm 51, David used his eyes amiss. The consequences of that ‘benign’ sin, looking on a naked woman who was not his wife, led to a great deal of tragedy in David’s life. By the time he wrote Psalm 101:3, David had learned that there is no such thing as a harmless or benign sin, and wrote; “I will lead NO evil before my eyes.”
Jesus counseled that our acts begin with our thoughts. If we can [make] our thoughts captive, our acts will follow. Each act in our lives is a step that we take, either towards the narrow gate or away from it. The trajectory of steps over the course of a lifetime will determine our ultimate destination.
We ought to think out each step with the same kind of rationale and determination that a man uses when he folds his own parachute. Small, careful decisions can save his life.
5 minutes of pleasure earned Esau the loss of a lifetime of blessing and the enmity of God. Is it worth it?

The only person who tried to publicly refute my article on who goes to heaven, section by section, was unable to refute anything, but kept repeating: “but I believe God knows our hearts.” I found this peculiar. It didn’t make sense to me, but apparently this is now a common excuse to use.

When confronted with their sins, it’s not uncommon to hear people say, “Yeah, but God knows my heart.” I usually take this to mean, “What I’m doing might be wrong, but in my heart, I’m a good person. God knows that. So I don’t think He will hold me accountable for my actions.” These folks obviously believe in God and believe in sin, but they believe that having a “good heart” is justification for their sin. God says that’s not true.
According to Jesus, no one sins in spite of having a clean heart. On the contrary, our sins are evidence of the impurity of our heart. Jesus said, “What comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart…out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander” (Matthew 15:18-19).
You can’t use profanity and – when someone calls you on it – say, “Well, God knows my heart.” Your heart is the place from which that profanity came. …
You don’t sin in spite of having a clean heart; you sin because there is something wrong in your heart.
The realization that God knows our hearts should humble us to repent, not embolden us to sin. You can hide your heart from the world. You can appear righteous and godly to others, even if your heart is rotten to the core, but God knows the truth. He sees your heart. …
All of this should teach us that our heart is not better than our life….
So I beg you to realize that God will hold you accountable for the sins of your mouth, the sins of your hands, and the sins of your heart unless you repent and allow Him to wash you clean in the blood of Jesus Christ:
“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you” (James 4:8-10).
