…why do US Christians support war? Why do they act like when the USA fights, it is almost like they are “fighting for Jesus”? Why is it so important for US Christians to “support the military”? Is Christianity supposed to be spread at the point of a gun? When America wins a war (such as Panama or whatever), did they “win it for Jesus”? I have never seen such confusion over patriotism and nationalism being equated with “Christianity”. There is something very wrong.

In the Dan Corner post [Video] Dan Corner Interview: The Believer’s Conditional Security, a few have asked whether we actually have to do things to go to heaven, one referring to the parable of the talents. I said I’d do a study on it, and quickly compiled some scriptures, but then I somehow lost my motivation to finish the project right away.
So I offered to put the scriptures online in case anyone would like to read the texts themselves. Here they are.
My plan right now is to work on these texts in this post until the study is eventually done. If it’s finished, it will be my third compilation of scriptures on the subject of who goes to heaven. The first two parts are Who-Goes-To-Heaven Scriptures — Narrow is the Way | Who are the Children of God?
I’m saying “if it’s finished” because I’m not totally sure why I lost motivation, but I suspect it is this. For me, this has been a hard summer to get things done. There are many ‘Christians’ (especially ‘Christian’ leaders) who allow themselves to be internally driven by the dark side [Can a Christian Have a Demon? Absolutely! Most Have Many!] to actively oppose the truth coming out. The James-3 curses seem to never end. There has so much denial, unwillingness to get right with those who’ve been hurt, and flat out hate within the so called ‘body of Christ.’ And they so desperately want the once-saved-always-saved doctrine to be true so they can go to heaven without having to lose face in front of their friends. Though they’ve lost face already.
The fact that I’m getting so much flack is confirmation that I’m directly over the target. And by the way, I know pretty much who it is who James-3 curses me, via the word of knowledge (God often tells me) and who and what I get prayer language for: I’ve finally shared much of what I know about and what can be done through the TREMENDOUS and mostly misunderstood and underused gift of tongues.
James-3 cursers, you may think you’re getting away with something, but “Don’t be deceived, God is not mocked. What you sow you will reap….” If you don’t feel right with God and people you probably are not. And now is your chance to get free. And people getting right with people will bring revival, the Third Great Awakening about!
And bad doctrine has kept revival from happening. People thought they were getting away with something: Kevin Conner: Doctrine Determines the Health of the Church
And those of you who know Kevin Conner. This is what he said: Kevin Conner on the Believer’s CONDITIONAL Security: “OBEDIENCE IS the very law of SECURITY for all created beings. There can be NO SUCH THING as UNCONDITIONAL security.”
We must be right with God and man. If your conscience condemns you, it probably really is, despite what the current false doctrine says. What did Paul really say in Romans 8:1 about no condemnation?
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; 4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Bad doctrine is responsible for the spiritual death that prevails. Whereas good doctrine will bring in revival.
Okay. If anyone else would like to write a study based upon these scriptures feel free. And if you know studies already online that have done a good job on this topic please mention them in a comment.
And please feel free to comment on this even though it’s just a first draft that hopefully will become a coherent overview on this subject.
So hopefully this post will change quite a bit in the future.

We need to really care about how we affect others. Most ‘churches’ should shut their doors until they repent, getting right with everyone they’ve lied to and hurt, so ONE can happen.
This is no joke. People are getting old and dying, and not seeing the light in the church they look to other things — and the pastors still won’t repent.
We need to have an others perspective. When we get right with God and each other and then God shows up this will affect the whole world! Many will then know that Jesus really is the way and the answer, and life, Himself!
Wanting others to be free and go to heaven should be a driving force in ourselves being the real church. “Then the world will know.”
This is the idea I had when I wrote these posts:

We are responsible for how we affect others. Getting our act together isn’t just for us. We should love the Jane Fondas and the Pete Townshends and the Gordon Lightfoots and everyone else as much as we love ourselves!
The revival (which is just real Christianity, being right with each other in Christ) should have happened years ago. Paul Newman and so many others have died, not having seen the revival come, when this is really not rocket science — just a matter of obeying.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” If we don’t fear God and get right with everyone now we’re really going to fear God when we die and experience the horrible 24/7 terror we’ll never be able to escape.
This isn’t just about us; though, that should be enough to motivate us. We should care for everyone…
When revival happens and everyone in the whole world sees the real thing lived in front of their eyes — if they still chose to reject Jesus’ Lordship for their lives, then they clearly knew what they were rejecting.
Now, most people look at ‘Christians’ and see unrepentant warmongerers, haters, lusters, liars (who lie even to other ‘Christians’), who won’t even get right with those they’ve hurt. “Once saved always saved.”
Bologna. God is not mocked. What we sow we will reap (Galatians 6). If we’re not in the going-to-heaven list in Galatians 5, what are we waiting for? Why aren’t people running to God, now that they see the end of America playing itself out before our eyes, because of our own sin.
None of this had to happen. We could be on the road to recovery, instead, the ‘church’ has guaranteed our country’s demise, still not willing to thinking that phony Christian politicians will save the day, as they watch Fox News or listen to Rush Limbaugh spin reality. Or just soothe themselves with the “I’m okay; you’re okay” music that K-LOVE carefully chooses to only play.
We’re going to see GOD, HIMSELF. We have only this one chance!!! Do you get it??!!!

What are you waiting for, you hypocrites who call yourselves Christians and even Christian leaders but don’t really do Christianity.
The sooner ONE happens (Jesus’ prayer for us in John 17), the sooner He will send His glory to help us inspire many. Otherwise, we are culpable in many going to Hell. We have missed our chance.
How in the world can ‘churches’ who used to feel God’s presence during worship now think they are okay when they can’t feel God at all anymore? How in the world?
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” is a law.
Why is worship so dead? Because God is resisting the proud, while always ready to give grace to the humble.
And you who are twisting the meaning of grace: you will receive the greater judgment if you don’t repent — for you led many astray, and then you laugh about it.
This is serious. God doesn’t want anyone to perish, but all to come to the knowledge of the truth, but He won’t make anybody follow Him.
If you don’t care enough about yourself to make sure you are going to heaven will you at least care enough for others, so they can see the real thing…?
This isn’t just about us. We need to care for Jane and Pete and Gordon — and Jack and Sally and even Mohammed, for those who watch Fox News to much or even at all. These guys are anti-Christs, reverse-Christians leading people into reverse-Christianity — which I prove at ToBeFree beyond the shadow of a doubt — if anyone cares…

The “Galatians Two Twenty” level was so wide that there was no longer any danger of falling. … Faith, Hope and Love…were now so large that I knew people far beyond the battle area could see them. Their glory even radiated into the camp of prisoners who were still under a great cloud of vultures. The exhilaration continued to grow in all of us. I felt that being in this army, in this battle, had to be one of the greatest adventures of all time.
Most of ‘Christianity’ today is a sick joke, and it’s the Devil laughing. He’s got most buffaloed.
Are we going to get it right and live in “The Unity of the Brethren,” where none of the enemy’s arrows could reach us, finally??
Remember how the evangelicals enabled Hitler in Nazi Germany. The pastors led the way by what they did and did not preach, and by what they did and did not do.
History doesn’t have to repeat itself. But it already has been, and will continue to unless the people take these warnings to heart, and walk tall, determined to do whatever it takes to be right with people and God for the rest of their lives.
Then we can be a part of one of the greatest adventures of all time!
God has been ready all of this time. He’s waiting for us.
Pastors, why don’t you embrace the body of Christ. Until God shows up (the Holy Spirit’s presence, the glory Jesus said He would give us so we would be ONE) you have failed. Will you admit this and get on your faces and pray.

Being free meant so much to our forefathers that they put everything on the line – and thousands sacrificed their lives – to give the promise of liberty to not only their children and grandchildren, but to generations they knew they would never even meet.
Their courage and determination guaranteed they would defy the odds and achieve victory.
In this critical election, you and I must decide if the principles of limited government and personal freedom are worth fighting for once again.
Since I’m asking for your vote and your trust to lead this nation, let me tell you a little bit about my background and beliefs.
My parents raised my four brothers and me on a dairy near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where they set clear examples for each of us about faith, honest living, and individual responsibility. Their Christian values helped inspire two of my brothers to eventually enter the ministry, and provided me with the foundation I needed to practice medicine and one day become a U.S. Representative.
In addition to my time in Congress, I am proud to have delivered over 4,000 babies as a country doctor in Texas. As I trained to practice medicine, I became convinced without a doubt that life begins at the moment of conception. I never performed an abortion, and I never once found an abortion necessary to save the life of the mother. In fact, I successfully helped women struggling with their pregnancies to seek other options, including adoption.
I am running to Restore America Now, and by that I mean that it’s time to protect and promote the basic God-given rights inherent in the promise of America.
We must pass on our heritage of liberty to the next generation – not tens of trillions of dollars in debt and liabilities.
We must stand for life – not allow millions of innocent children to continue to be slaughtered with the government’s approval.
We must follow the Biblical mandate of using honest weights and measures – not printing money out of thin air in almost complete secrecy and then handing it over to oppressive dictators.
We must only send our men and women to fight for our country when the mission is clear, every necessary tool needed to win is provided, and we respect the Constitution by declaring war.
Once war is declared, it must be waged according to Just War principles. We should only fight when it’s in our national security interest, and we should no longer do the corrupt United Nation’s bidding by policing the world.
In Congress, I never vote for any piece of legislation that violates the Constitution’s strict limits on government power. I also do not participate in the congressional pension system.
As President, I give you my word that I will only exercise my authority within the confines of the Constitution, and I will work every day to rein in a runaway federal government by binding it with the chains of that document.
For my stands and beliefs, I am told that my efforts are “hopeless.” Like those who were proud to stand up for what they knew was right to create our nation, however, I firmly believe that now is a better time than ever before to reclaim our liberties. No situation is hopeless for those who receive their strength from their faith, family, and freedom.
And like those Patriots, I have no doubt that liberty will prevail.
I invite you to join me and millions of other Americans in taking our stand to honor our forefathers’ sacrifices and

It also prevents proper interaction with colleagues who often vastly overestimate the ability of their overconfident bosses.
Scientists at the University of Amsterdam proved their theory by conducting an experiment involving 150 people, split into groups of three.

Why the rich ‘are such a selfish, less empathetic and less altruistic lot’
Few people have much sympathy for the rich who have lost millions in the latest share price crash.
But then a new study has revealed the wealthy are unlikely to be to bothered about those who are struggling to make ends meet.
According to psychologist and social scientist Dacher Keltner the rich are usually self-obsessed and only worried about their own well being.
Keltner said they were ‘less empathetic, less altruistic and generally more selfish’ as a result of having so much money.
He said they have an ‘ideology of self interest’ and more likely to think about themselves whereas those less well off were more likely to help others.
‘We have now done 12 separate studies measuring empathy in every way imaginable, social behaviour in every way, and some work on compassion and it’s the same story,’ he said.
‘Lower class people just show more empathy, more prosocial behavior, more compassion, no matter how you look at it.’

We Don’t Need Another George W. Bush
Last Saturday, Texas Governor Rick Perry unofficially launched his 2012 Presidential candidacy in Houston (in my opinion). Speculation is he will officially announce his intentions this weekend in South Carolina. If he does declare his candidacy, many election-watchers say Perry will become the GOP frontrunner, due to an extremely weak field of declared candidates. If Perry does declare his candidacy, everyone will know that the Houston event was staged for the purpose of launching his Presidential bid, rhetoric to the contrary notwithstanding.
If Perry declares his candidacy (and I’m confident he will), people should also realize that the Houston event was a precursor to the type of campaign that Perry will use throughout the Republican primary season. As a fellow Texan, it was not lost on Rick Perry how George W. Bush obtained the Republican nomination–and eventually the White House. In short, Rick Perry is going to use the G.W. Bush model to win a Presidential election.
Think about it: G.W. Bush won the White House after an extremely unpopular liberal Democrat had been President. Barack Obama’s popularity is even lower than Bill Clinton’s was–and Clinton was only the second President in US history to ever be impeached! Bush’s campaign boss, Karl Rove, brilliantly painted G.W. Bush as being a wholesome “born again Christian,” which played very well with a Christian electorate that was tired of being embarrassed by a lying, philandering reprobate living in the White House.
In 2012, the American electorate, especially the Christian electorate, is totally fed up with an incumbent President whom everyone knows to be extremely sympathetic to Muslim and Marxist ideologies. Plus, a sizeable percentage of the American people truly suspect that Obama was NOT born in the United States and is, therefore, not even qualified to be President. This is the stage upon which Rick Perry appears. It is a stage very similar to the one George W. Bush stepped onto in 2000. And just as Bush played the “born again Christian” card to the max in the 2000 Presidential campaign, so Rick Perry appears to be ready to do in 2012. That is what the Houston event was all about last Saturday.
Billed as “A Day of Prayer and Fasting,” the event solidified Perry’s preferred status among evangelical Christians. With the help of the American Family Association (which reportedly contributed up to a million dollars to the event), James Dobson’s Focus on the Family, and Cornerstone Church’s (San Antonio) Pastor John Hagee, Perry is all but assured of cornering the “born again” vote, just as G.W. Bush did in 2000.
One would like to think that America’s Christians learned something from the two GWB administrations, but it doesn’t appear that they have. I think it is safe to say that Dobson, Hagee, et al, would endorse ANYONE nominated by the Republican Party. They have already proven that, have they not? James Dobson went so far as to humiliate himself by endorsing big government John McCain in the 2008 general elections, even after vowing publicly that he would “NEVER” support McCain. During the primaries, however, the Republican candidate who can “talk the Bible” the best can expect the support of these clueless evangelical leaders. And this time around, it appears that Rick Perry is that man. You can rest assured if Perry doesn’t win the nomination, Dobson and Hagee will be right there for whoever does.

I have said over and over again that I would rather vote for an unbeliever who would preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, than vote for a believer who would NOT preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States! The pious rhetoric of political candidates means nothing!
If I hire a plumber to fix a drainage problem at my house, I am not interested so much in where he goes to church, or whether he teaches Sunday School, or what denomination he claims. I am hiring him to fix my plumbing! We sign a contract, he and I. I promise to pay him “X” amount of dollars, and he promises that when he’s finished, my toilets will flush. Christian or not, I expect him to honor the terms of his contract.
Ladies and gentlemen, when we elect a civil magistrate (at any level), we are entering into a contract with the one we elected. We gave them our support, which allowed them to obtain public office, and they promise (before Almighty God) to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. They do not promise to be “good Christians.” They do not promise to be “good Republicans.” They do not promise to be “good conservatives.” They take an oath before God (they sign a contract with the American people) to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. And it is our job as citizens to hold our civil magistrates to their oath! In fact, if any elected office holder were a TRUE Christian, he or she would take their oath even more seriously, would they not?
Instead of being excited about a candidate claiming to be a Christian, or claiming to pray and read his or her Bible, we need to get excited about a candidate who is serious about preserving the liberties of the American people, and who makes a commitment to protect and preserve the principles enshrined in our Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and US Constitution!
Before we talk about Rick Perry’s commitment to prayer and fasting, let’s find out if Rick Perry believes that there must be a Declaration of War before America begins invading, bombing, and occupying foreign countries. Let’s find out if he believes he has the authority as President to use US military forces against American citizens. Let’s find out if he believes he has the authority to give billions and trillions of dollars away to foreign countries. Let’s find out if he plans to commit US military forces to the whims of the United Nations Security Council. Let’s find out if he supports the Military Commissions Act. Let’s find out if he supports the Patriot Act. Let’s find out if he believes the US government has the authority to use super-computers and advanced technology to continue to turn the United States into a giant surveillance-society. Let’s find out how serious he is about closing that southern border: speaking of which, what did Rick Perry do as governor of the border State of Texas to stop illegal immigration? And while we are on the subject of Border States, what did Rick Perry do to stop the NAFTA superhighway? Before we get excited about Rick Perry being a “good Christian,” let’s find out if he supports the Council of Governors, or the North American Union, or the Continuity of Government, or Agenda 21. Let’s find out if Perry will launch a Justice Department investigation into the ATF’s (under Barack Obama and Eric Holder) clandestine operation of providing firearms to Mexican drug gangs. We could go on and on with these kinds of questions.

And ladies and gentlemen, that is why it hasn’t mattered to a tinker’s dam whether a Democrat or Republican, “liberal” or “conservative” is in the White House! And that’s why it won’t matter in 2012.
Besides, if James Dobson and John Hagee were truly interested in protecting and preserving the principles enshrined in our Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and US Constitution, they would be promoting the candidacy of Ron Paul. But, unfortunately, they wouldn’t do it in 2008, and they won’t do it in 2012. They lack both the courage and the sagacity.
We don’t need another George W. Bush in the White House. For that matter, we don’t need another Jimmy Carter in the White House. What we need is a President (governor, mayor, sheriff, etc.) who will preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States!

Modesty: Still Missing from the Church
If our motivation is to look attractive at any cost with no consideration for others, there is a heart issue to confront.

“Why does she have on those hooker shoes?” That’s how one of my godmothers began our phone conversation Monday morning. She was disheartened by a woman’s church attire, and that was just one of her examples. I shared my observations concerning the responsibility of modesty and its challenges for both men and women.
My cultural background advises me to put on my “Sunday Best” when I enter God’s sanctuary, where my physical presentation to God speaks volumes about how I reverence him. If I don’t say anything about my spiritual condition, few people can confidently speak about what’s going on in my heart. Yet they can observe my emotional and physical condition, either through my smile, physique, or radiant skin (which can reveal proper hydration, rest, and minimal stress).
Whether I like it or not, people draw assumptions about me based on my physical presentation. As a Christian woman, I do not want people drawing the wrong conclusions about my focus. I believe that modesty is a major issue in our churches. While I cannot take ownership of someone else’s sin, I do accept the responsibility for being my brother’s keeper.

In 1985, Howard Storm had a near-death experience. He was tortured and beaten up by beings before being saved by a huge ball of light, which he believed to be Jesus.
